MADE IN MEXICO even though the product description says Spain. The box and each bar of soap indicate Mexico as the country of origin. Beware if this is something that matters to you. The fragrance is lovely and I will keep the soaps but must admit that I am disappointed that I have not received the product that was described and that I expected.

Like the soap, however I do not believe this is the original soap that was produced in Spain.Was introduced to the original Maja soap made in Spain several years ago. Would like to know if the Maja soap that was manufactured in Spain is available, as the Maja that is presently available is made in Mexico.
