Bought these for my wife, as Crabtree and Evelyn do not carry the Botanical soaps any longer. Never heard of these people but the Box looked nice.She on the other hand has heard of them and was very happy. Nice box, makes a good gift.

I have been using this product for over a year and it is ok so that is what the stars are for. No stars are for the non amazon sellers who take forever to ship. Already past the shipping date and still nothing on this go around. Also, bait and switch is bad. Supposed to be no shipping and it said no shipping but one seller said "that does not count if it is to a "PO Box" which I have never experienced in the 1000's of transactions I have done online in the last 10 years. SO many stars to the product and no stars to the sellers. Good night and good luck.

It does clean well leaving your skin soft, but maybe I was expecting too much in terms of it smelling like coconut. It has a hint of coconut smell to it, but more or less is pretty floral.

I picked this up on a whim (Our local dollar tree had it for a buck a bar) It's very rich and creamy and lathers nice. The scent is mild, not overwhelming or unpleasant. I like it. I only just started using it, so I can't tell you that it does /did anything for my skin. But it's a nice, creamy, pleasant smelling soap made in U.S.A.

How many times have you faced a public restroom with NO soap, or a dirty soap bar, or the kind of soap that turns your hands into sandpaper?
These take up next to no room in your bag or pocket, are pleasant to use, and allow you to keep your hands really clean.
Those "sanitizers" are NOT as effective, and very few of them do not use alcohol or a similar ingredient which badly dries the skin.
Highly recommended.

I bought this for my vegan boyfriend he was thrilled, Finally a vegan soap that smells pretty masculine and clean off masculine smell! :) This scent in particular is divine smells good and the loofah helps the clean feeling. APTERA IMPORTS INC Olive Oil Soap
I love Olivella, especially the hand soap. Such a fresh scent and cleans beautifully and can use it even to wash dishes. :)But for my face/body--not hands--I need fragrance free and gentler. The unfragranced Olivella bar is very good, but it has a strong olive smell (which, hey, makes sense, right?). Aptera is gentle, lightly, oh so lightly, lathers, leaves me very very clean, and has NO strong vegetal scent. It's not slimy--as some perceive Olivella. It's literally as close to fragrance free as an olive oil soap can get, I imagine. This is a plus, as I don't wanna smell like a salad if I can help it. :D
Gentle, effective, unfragranced. It's a great soap. My supersensitive, rashy, itch-prone skin loves this. No itch. No irritation.
I went to the MOther Nature site and ordered a dozen of these little Greek OO soap bars(I had ordered two to try out and now I wanna stock up). If this goes on subscribe and save here, I'd subscribe. For sure. I hope Aptera starts to make other OO products. If they can make this terrific little bar, I'd like to see what their other OO products would be like.

I have very sensitive skin on my face. The less I do, the happier it is. No heavy creams, line fillers or plumpers,pore minimizers, yada, yada, yada. They stopped making my favorite facial cleanser a few years ago, so I had to go out and search for a replacement. I found Aptera olive oil soap. This stuff is amazing. I thought this product would make my skin soft and moisturized. Boy was I wrong! Dove soap is way better than this brand if you're looking to have moisturized skin at the end of your shower. This soap left my skin extremely dry and itchy. I used it once and never used it again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!Want APTERA IMPORTS INC Olive Oil Soap Discount?
I'm impressed with how well this works as both a shampoo and body wash. However, I've noticed my face being all red getting out of the shower, and feeling a bit sore... I think the salt in the soap basically strips away the oils/leaves my face raw/dry. Possibly related, I have tried to use a saline nasal spray to help with sinus issues, and after a few weeks had to stop that as it was making me sneeze. My body probably doesn't like salt.

Dettol Original Soap 2.62oz (Pack of 24)
This is an antibacterial soap popular in India. It is a pleasant-smelling, good-lathering soap; a nice change from the typical citrus-y scent of many antibacterial soaps used in the USA. It also uses a different antibacterial agent than most US soaps, which I think is good for keeping microbes maladapted to the soap I use.The ingredients listed on the label are: Na (Sodium) soap, fragrance, TCC, colour, preservative.
TCC is (I think) triclocarban (3,4,4'-trichlorocarbanilide) which is NOT the same active ingredient that is found in Dettol liquid first aid antiseptic (chloroxylenol).
Next time around I will be buying the larger bars, however. These are smallish facial-sized bars and don't last very long in the shower.
Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap ( 1x3.25 OZ)
I'm hesitant about saying anything bad about this product, b/c it may be a pleasant odor for someone else. It wasn't for me however so I only used it once. I will say that this is a preference issue so take that into consideration. Of the one time that I did use it, it did lather up properly as any other shaving soap would. Also, don't think that it smells like pine either, it's label is misleading. It's odor is something more along the lines of a leather somewhere in the middle of it's tanning process, if that helps. Again, not a bad product, just not for me.

Juniper Ridge Juniper Ridge Red Rock Canyon Soap 3.5 fl oz - 3.5 fl oz
This was a very interesting idea for a soap so I gave it a try. It's very pure, made only from western juniper and a few other oils. The outdoorsy smell is very subtle once you lather the soap, and the smell reminded me more of Ivory soap than an evergreen forest. It's difficult to work this bar into a thick lather, so it's probably better as a hand or facial soap than a body bar. It rinses off easily and leaves your skin feeling tight and fresh without overdrying. Overall a very cool soap that will make you feel like a clean and fresh lumberjack!

Bar Soap Scented 1 Bar
