Vinolia Cold Cream Bath Soap 170g soap bar

I first bought this soap at a traveling Titanic exhibit as a souvenir. I absolutely loved the way it smelled.. so it only lasted in the box a few weeks before I finally decided I had to try it and see what all the fuss was about. After all, it had been offered to the first class passengers on Titanic as an extra luxury.

Indeed it is a little pricey for a bar of soap, but it lasted a lot longer than I would have predicted it to. After daily use of at least a shower or two a day, I'd say it lasted about three weeks to a month.

I would come out of the shower smelling like a 1912 millionaire tycoon , cool and refreshed. It does not over dry the skin nor does it clog the pores, whereas I would have a problem with it because I have sensitive skin and usually just buy hypo allergenic soaps.

This soap is great and I keep coming back for more.. its worth the price and I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about trying it. Try it... You'll love it.

I bought this as a gift for a Titanic fanatic. When I first opened the box I saw the words "Vinolia" printed on the box and was worried that there was no Titanic picture. But then I flipped the box over and saw that a photo is printed on the other side. I bought one for the gift recipient to keep with their various souvenirs, the other to actually use since it should be quite nice soap.

My first introduction to Titanic bath soap was from a local apothecary here in Chicago (Merz Apothecary). The first time I bathed with it, I felt as if I'd died and gone to Heaven! It's aroma is sensual, clean and absolutely wonderful, and it's very long-lasting. It lasted at least three times as long as a standard bar of soap, so I wouldn't let the price keep you from buying it; it's worth every penny, and the value is also there since it lasts so long.
