I LOVE this soap. Of course I love all of Dr. Bronner's soaps, especially because they are all natural and biodegradeable etc... and they WORK GREAT!!! But this one is particularly good for my skin. The natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, fungicide properties of Tea Tree oil have made my skin so much clearer since I have started using this soap regularly. It lathers really well just like all Dr. Bronner's soaps, so you just need a very little bit. The only downside is that it's not the best smelling of his soaps (if you don't know what tea tree oil smells like I would try it in a small size first) but I don't mind it. If you like the peppermint soap, I would definitely try this one too.

This is a soap you absolutely must not pass up! I have now tried pretty much all of the different types of this brand. The exfoliating and the massage nubs are absolutely incredible. My skin is soft, refreshed, and hydrated. I have been told my skin is glowing. People have actually asked if I have done something special to my skin. This does NOT leave a heavy scent. I am giving some of all the different scents for Christmas presents. I think they would make a great gift to give someone when you stay overnight to say thanks. As a guy, I must say... this is great!

Yes this soap is expensive BUT no more than other fine French soaps. I love this soap! I buy it for myself -and for friends for special occasions eg, New Years Eve party favors-we have a very small gathering of our best friends.

I don't usually use any type of bar for cleaning anything. Especially my body. I don't like how soap usually makes my skin feel (all dry & caked). This bar doesn't make my skin feel dry & I don't feel like I have residue all over. It goes on creamy & rinses off clean leaving my skin feeling moisturized. I also like the little hard pieces through out it that, I think, helps release extra dead skin cells from your body.

This is an awesome prodcut. They smell really good and do work to clear up skin. I normally buy at Walgreens or CVS. I went to Amazon to see if I could order some to stock up. I'm shocked by the price for one bar. These are $4.99 per bar at Walgreens.com. Amazon needs to lower the pricing. $15 for one bar of soap, as much as I like it, is ridiculous!

Primal Elements Soap Loaf, Blue Margarita, 5-Pound Cellophane

Zingy and fresh, this smells just like a blue martini and/or margarita (I swear, I thought it was blue martini when I bought it). The scent is crisp, with that alcoholic bubbliness of a martini/margarita, and just the slightest whiff of berry. The scent is also strong, and this bar scented the whole bathroom, even when just sitting dry in the soapdish. It's a very bright blue bar with a bright and strong fragrance. A very good wake-up soap, and a pleasure to use.

I bought this soap at first because of the name. But when it arrived and I used it, I was very pleasantly surprised at the soap's scent and how it lathered when showering. I am not sure why it is called an athletic soap, but it has a nice aroma and keeps with the British tradition of quality bathing soaps.

I saw this at my local Marshall's and decided to buy it because it's a natural soap. I used it during my shower and decided that since it's a natural product that I would wash my face with it as well. About 1hr. later my chin started itching like crazy. When I looked in the mirror I noticed that my entire chin (front and sides) had broken out in tiny red bumps with white puss tips. The next day my whole forehead and sides of face broke out as well. It's been 3 weeks and am still waiting for all the breakouts to clear up. I threw the soap away after that 1st use. Maybe it was contaminated or my face was allergic. The rest of my body did not break out however. Oh, and I have pretty good skin. Acne is not a problem for me. I am not acne prone. The reaction I had to the soap was unusual for my skin.
