Thank you Amazon for having this Honey Cake available. This is another product I've used for years and can no longer find in any department store. Shiseido has a great line of facial products and this is one of my favorites. It helps remove makeup well. It tends to be a bit drying, but I use a moisurizer twice a day. The scent is fresh and clean and not too perfumey. One cake of soap lasts for months as you only need a smidge to create alot of lather. Also have trouble finding this soap local. For a while I was working for a large international company and was able to get my boss bring me back this soap! Alias, the company went out of business!! Northern Nigeria during the harmattan/dry season (Nov-Jan) is a nightmare for me, cos i have xtrmly dry cracked skin and during ths period, my skin becomes evn more cracked-as if that was possible and looks very unattractive. Until I stumbled upon NH soaps, I just grinned and suffrd in silence..well, not anymore! be warned, once u start using these soaps, I guarantee u will never go back to others. I have tried the Coconut& papaya(really lightens complexion but be careful when using on ur face, cos it burns); carrot & pomegranate (jury's still out, but not my favorite); Lemongrass & teatree(hmmm....very drying, but good for acne);Chai & rose ( probably good for fair/sensitive skin, but did absolutey nothin for me);Raw shea butter soap & cream(this is exquisite and has healed my cracked skin completely); that was until I discovered the Honey & black seed soap(once a week i lather up, let dry and use as an exfoliator, my skin actually glows-this is my favourite). I buy these at Grand square superstore, which has a good soap variety but limited lotions....in the past I have used La mer, Sisley, Thalgo and so on...literaly spending Thousands of $s... I am so grateful to the pple at NH and intend to use these products for life.

This soap is awesome. What I like about it is that it doesn't have a sweet scent to it. In fact, you really have to sniff it to smell it. It leaves your hands feeling super clean and hydrated, as if you just put on a light lotion (but without the feeling of having something "on" your hands). What I do not like about this soap is that it leaves a reddish-brown film after you use it. I had to buy a special soap holder (one that has little "pillars" to hold the soap up so that it doesn't touch the surface) so it wouldn't make a mess. I really like this soap, though. It's winter, and I like anything that will keep my hands smooth and soft without having to use lotion!

I love everything Pure Fiji makes and this soap is no exception. While it melts fairly quickly in my bath water, it smooths and softens very noticably. It has a very faint coconut scent. I was extremely impressed the first time I used it with how much it softened my skin and silkened it on contact. When this soap is wet it feels soft on the surface. I am willing to pay a premium to use this exquisite soap from Fiji. The nut oils from the south Pacific are the best thing I've ever used on my skin. This is the only soap I want to use. I am liking the likas soap. I don't know if it is whitening or not but it is helping to even out the skin. I have been using it for 3 months now and was told that it is a slow process. I have this soap in my bathroom and I absolutely love the scent. I can always tell when my husband washes his hands because I can smell the lavender when he gets near me. The dispenser allows just enough soap to squirt out without draining a quarter of the bottle, and one squirt is enough for good lathering. I wish this was a tad bit cheaper, but it's worth it.

I just love the different designs of them, they are all different. Not only do i use them for decoration in my bathroom but i also like to use them to wash my hands. They produce a very nice lather that leaves my hands smooth with a very fresh aroma as well. They are a little pricey but well worth the purchase!

I AM a soap maker by trade. I try all kinds of soap for the fun of it and to learn all that I can. I never re-buy soap since I make it. This could be my exception! I have gained a real respect for Tamanu oil and all that it can do. Yes what kind of soap you use DOES make a difference. What's in YOUR soap? The oils listen in this soap are and in this order: Olive Oil (extremely moisturizing, can't beat it), Coconut oil (used in this case for foaming instead of using a chemical but very good for skin! ) Palm Oil, (moisturizing), Tamanu Oil (high on the list so there is a fair amount in there), Shea butter (to die for), jojoba oil (amazing stuff again for skin) Rosemary seed Extract (usually used to keep the bar fresh but also brings nice qualities to the skin). This list rocks!! These are all VERY expensive oils and top shelf. When you look at the price and want to walk away may I just say that I dare bet there isn't a lot of profit in that bar. Yeah those oils are that expensive, BUT worth it!!

The soap is visible good, cleans well, face fells smooth, I use it after I used scrubs and want a final clean.I like the natural products, but I did not use it long enough to tell a difference. Smells good, maybe a tad too strong, and not what I expected olive oil to smell like. Wouldn't put it in my clothes because it would be too strong. Used as a bridal shower favor, silk bags received with the soap made the presentation cute. Would recommend.

I got mine at Marshall's for $4.99 without s/h costs. I love this soap. It's a medium sized red-colored bar and smells definitely of pleasant pomegranate & berries, a VERY pleasant long-lasting fragrance inside and outside the bath with only a faint fragrance of detergent. The lather is decent and the texture of the soap is soft enough that I love it. It's a premium soap made in Beverly Hills, California, triple-milled and made with Vitamin E with shea butter to moisturize the skin and the soap is definitely moisturizing and it hasn't been tested on animals. It has an artistic attractive design for packaging.
