This soap is something of a family tradition. I remember it's very pleasant smell from my childhood. Both my Canadian great-grandfather and grandfather used this soap. I rediscovered it a few years ago and it has since become a favourite.

As soap goes, it's very effective. It cleans well and rinses easily, leaving no residue. Its pine fragrance is a delight, but not at all overwhelming, and it does not linger long. Try it, I think you'll like it very much.

I bought this as a gift for the holidays for someone who loves soaps.

Part of the appeal of this was that the image above shows a charmingly designed box.

However the seller placed the box in a padded envelope so it arrived crunched and in poor condition.

I could not give it as a present because the box was all caved in and looked like it had been sat on.

The seller needs to not send this item in a soft padded envelope.

soap is awesome, just a warning it isn't like a hard bar of soap, you cant leave it in the shower it melts fast(lol thanks goodness i got three pounds) i put some pieces in a bottle with a few drops of water and had liquid black soap, my friend prefers to wet her hands and grab some together to shape a ball or normal square/retangle size of soap...

This is my second order from this company. The soap is awesome. I make liquid soap with it and add a little coconut oil and a couple of drops of tea tree oil and wash my hair with it. This amount should last me quite awhile. I have also used it to make a mask by adding some honey to it. My skin looks so soft and is clearing up tremendously. I am so glad I found out about this all natural soap!

CLEAN, that's what you are after washing with this soap! A very generous size for a very reasonable price. I like to wash my hair with it, too. My hair squeaks with cleanliness! The only down-side, if you could even call it that, because it probably isn't to a great many people, is the smell. It just smells like a lye soap. But hey, I'm good with usually some of my homemade lotions for scent! I will buy this again!

Perhaps it's the fact that we are using this product at our Costa Rican beach house and it's quite humid... but these bags did not meet my expectations. The bag never quite dries out, in spite of hanging from the faucet handle. So, the soap turns to mush and is gone in no time flat. We've gone back to using those little clear rubber pads with the nubs.

This was a very good product that I used during a two week jungle trip. It was smaller than a loofah and was soft, but still durable enough to exfoliate. A standard bar fit well in the bag, I used Dove. After two weeks of heavy use, this bag is still going strong. I wash in a delicates bag on the regular cycle with no problems. The downside is 100% coton stretches somewhat, dries slowly, and the product with bar of soap is slightly bigger than a standard bar soap travel case.

Mesh is too thin. Was hoping for an earth friendly replacement for the nylon mesh bags, but they work much better so I'm switching back.

This item, hard to find an any store, is a lightly fragrant liquid handsoap that washes cleanly, leaving no residue. The label states "Skin Enhancing" and though that description is a little vague, skin does seem moisturized without any greasy feel afterwards. I prefer it to other liquid handsoaps because it is mild and light, but effective. The pump container is calibrated to dispense what might look like a too small amount but it is always sufficient. I appreciate that built-in economical feature.

I love this soap! The scent is so clean and refreshing. I have very sensitive skin, and have had no problems using the citrus herb soap from Old Man Murray's. Also, it doesn't dry out my skin, but leaves it smooth and silky. That is especially nice as the winter months are here. I was introduced to this product by my daughter-in-law. My son, (her husband) has a bad case of ingrown hairs on his face. Pre de Provence Soap, Mint Leaf, Set of 5, 125 grams Cello wrap

The picture on this item I think is larger than the item itself. The fragrance is mint, but I was expecting normal size soap for the price. The soaps are only approximately 2" square each. You may get 5, but going by ( total ) weight they are still not as big as an average bar of soap. These soaps are mini, but the price is not!

I did not know whta to expect, but they were cute litle, not too little, 4x4s that fit perfectly in my guest soapdish. Smells awesome and minty . The soaps have a little grit in them for exfoliation too.

Knotty Boy Every Body All Purpose Shampoo Bar Sandalwood

This soap helps my hair achieve the perfect texture for locking up. Smells great & seems to last a bit longer than other scents made by the same company.

I have a beard that is over two feet long, and this shampoo is fantastic for it, it washes out clean leaving no oily feeling , smells fantastic, and softens nicely. The crazy thing is the bar gives you a better later than most liquid shampoos. I be buying this product exclusively for my beard from here on out.

Rather basic shampoo bar. My pap would make homemade soap and this smells/feels very similar. I've always been happy with Knotty Boy in the past. Bar lasts for a while. My only complaint would be that its a little pricey for soap.

The soap is really spectacular. The scent is understated, but the clean after use is second to none. No doubt one of the best soaps I've bought.

I have tried so many different soaps from store bought to organic, and this is by far one of the best soaps I have ever used. It leaves your skin feeling very soft and clean. There is no grimy residue left behind on your skin like some soaps tend to leave. It has a very rich lather similar to using a loofah and body wash, and the scent is amazing!

My husband and I just love the Pre de Provence Soap! We discovered the soap on a romantic get-away and I just had to find it again. I didn't have to look far. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon!

This soap is made very well. It is triple milled and so soft. It lasts a long time and creates a very rich lather, not to mention all the wonderful scents available.

Dr. Bronner's Almond Soap 32oz

Dr. Bronner's is really fantastic stuff! I keep find more and more uses for it around the house. We've gotten to the point that we have replaced all of our toxic synthetic chemical products with this! The only thing I find it terrible for is washing windows, it leaves a film and you spend more time removing the film than the dirt! Otherwise, this stuff can easily replace 6-10 products around the home.

Almond is my favorite for a nice mild and pleasing scent! Be warned of the Peppermint, even though the peppermint is natural, it is extremely strong smelling. So strong, it can cause irritation for some people. I tried to use it on my floors, while it cleaned incredibly well, it nearly ran us out of the house the smell was so strong. This is even with me diluting it to a massive degree. I would recommend Peppermint for hand soap, dishes, laundry, anything outdoors. But would use something like Unscented, Lavender or Almond for general house cleaning, body soap and shampoo.

We also found this product is fantastic for cleaning our italian leather furniture! Normally we have to buy expensive solutions to effectively clean it while not damaging the leather. This stuff works perfect on it. If you use this in the bathroom for hand soap you don't need any air fresheners after you have a bowel movement. The peppermint quickly overtakes any other odors. We now use Bronner's for cleaning our jet tubs. Before they were very difficult to clean because you cannot use abrasive chemicals, but Dr. Bronner's practically melts the grim and dirt right off them!

Finally, I have dry skin. Up to this point I have been using Ivory Soap and it is horrible on my skin. A couple days of using Bronners and my skin is back to being normal! I love how this product rinses off so easily and leaves no films.

I really like the smell and feel of this soap. It is gentle on my skin, and has a pleasant earthy smell. I have had some issues with the peppermint on sensitive skin like the top of my hands, but the almond is nice. It lasts a long time compared to bar soap, seems more hygenic, and I like knowing that my shower waste-water is not harming the environment by filling it with synthetic chemicals.

I have been enjoying using Dr. Bronner's soaps for a few years now. I do not use it much for skin or hair as I find it to be a little drying for me (although if I'm out of body wash, I'll use it in a pinch). I do use it for many other cleaning jobs, including laundry, with very good results. I like the light scent of the almond and look forward to trying some of the other fragrances as well.

The shampoo itchies drove into the arms of Dr. Bronner. The first time I used Dr. Bronner's Baby Castile Soap on my hair, I had that sinking feeling in my stomach upon rinsing...my hair felt soooo sticky. No time to start all over, so I just slathered on some creme rinse. Words can not convey my surprise when I rinsed the 'rinse' and then stood in front of the mirror. Even wet, my hair has life and body in it; then when it dries, the results are soft, managable, and oh the curls. Nothing to date has even given me these results. As for toothpaste, well...50 years of commercial toothpaste has warped my perceptions but I am willing to learn (slowly). By the way, you should see what this stuff can do when applied to household cleaning (windows not included), it makes my hardwood floors shine.
