I love all Dr. Bronner's products. I accidentally ordered this one instead of the Tea Tree Oil Liquid (they are both the same color) and I like the Eucalyptus much better! I have a hard time getting up early and for school I have to wake up when it was still dark and this liquid soap made my morning go by quicker and smoother. Even when I finished getting ready out of the bathroom, my roommate commented on how it kind of woke her up to when she entered the bathroom! I would give it five stars but I do not like the packaging. When I am partially asleep in the shower, my slippery hands tend to drop it often before it wakes me up! I purchased Dr. Bronner's eucalyptus liquid soap from Vitamin Shoppe via Amazon. I read a review that warned it was watery but I took my chances. Yes, indeed, it is very watery. I use much more of it than I want in order to wash with it simply because it is too watery. Sometimes I wonder if it is eucalyptus-scented water. I like it, I like how it leaves my skin feeling, but I am very disappointed at the cost-to-water ratio. The package the soap comes in is a masculine dark green with a nice written history of the company and the soap on the back. The bar itself is handsome with the crown and name are craved into the soap given it a regal look. The smell is masculine, and originally I feared it would be too strong. However, after using the soap a few times I can happily report that it fills the shower with scent of the soap, but the scent on the skin after the shower is only slight. The lather is rich and creamy and the soap washes off clean. There is no sticky feeling after washing off the lather. This is a good a fairly inexpensive soap that is fitting for anyone wishing to smell manly and clean.

One With Nature - Lavender Soap 7 Oz ( Multi-Pack)
I finally found a soap that I can use on my extremely sensitive skin when I was little, I could only use Ivory soap, but as I am over 40 now, it dries my skin. This soap was such a relief! It moisturizes my skin and doesn't cause any irritation at all!! My only complaint it lasts too long!! I like to change scents fairly often, but it last SO DARN LONG that I actually have to take it out of the shower and store it in a ziplock bag so I can switch scents!! I STRONGLY recommend this soap especially if you have sensitive skin.

My husband has eczema. Especially in the winter time. His skin gets so dry and the eczema really breaks out.He was watching Dr. Oz one day, and they said to use lavender for eczema break outs.
He really has to watch what kind of soap he baths in. One with Nature Dead Sea Mineral Soap is a God sent.
He also uses Lavender oil with this, and keeps his eczema pretty much under control.
I bought a bar of this soap at Central Market, but got it much cheaper through Amazon.
He is also under a physician's care and uses cortizone, but cortizone is not good to use all the time. This way he keeps it under control naturally. When he has a really bad break out he only use the cortizone then.

These soap bars are huge! They feel like they are twice the size of most soap bars. They do not "melt" away, either.The lavendar fragrance is subtle and so far, this soap has not caused any problems to my extra sensitive skin.
The soap was packed in conventional packing box, then in a white box that would be nice if you were to give the soap as a gift and all the bars were individually wrapped. Good value, nice product, fast delivery, good packaging, gentle on the skin. Deserves 5 stars.

Joyful Bath Mellow Yellow Relieving Bath Soap, Eucalyptus, 5.3 Ounce

The Mellow Yellow was purchased after great experiences with the green tea and citrus soaps in this line. This was quite a surprise it ended up being my favorite in the entire line. Despite being called Mellow Yellow, this has a zingy, wonderful smell, likely owing to the eucalyptus in there. It doesn't have the harsh edge of a typical eucalyptus scented soap, however, since there is a wonderful blend of other plants such as rosemary. This is definitely one you have to try to truly appreciate how wonderful this smells.
There's no soapy film afterwards and it leaves you feeling clean.

Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar
Our baby daughter started suffering from either dermatitis or eczema a year ago just a red bumpy rash and unscented Dove was recommended by the pediatrician, pediatric dermatologist, and allergist. Unfortunately, they didn't know the manufacturer had changed the product formula. We really wish they had it would have saved her a year of terrible itching its new formula caused. We didn't know the Dove doctors have been recommended for years was no longer the same product.A wild goose chase ensued. A change in her diet to Alimentum resulted in dramatic improvement after a milk allergy was diagnosed. However, small raised red patches and intense itching that caused frantic scratching to the point of bleeding soon became major issues; atypical eczema was diagnosed.
Treatment until just a few days ago had been warm daily baths and unscented Dove, along with hydrocortisone 1% on spots and Cetaphil cream all over. Children's Zyrtec did not seem to alleviate the itching, although it did help her sleep. A visit to a dermatologist and a prescription for Calcitrene did not help either. Only a physical barrier footed PJs with both zippers and snaps, kept her from picking at her skin constantly.
Quite by accident I used unscented Dove two weeks ago. I suddenly found myself having intense itching as well. Could it be that my daughter was allergic to Dove too? It did make sense as Dove was used directly on her exposed areas, arms and torso, and she had her most intense and frantic itching episodes after her bath. We discontinued Dove immediately and her intense itching subsided overnight.
What I didn't understand why I was suddenly was allergic to the new bars. After doing some research it turns out that Dove has discontinued the old Dove unscented bar along with the Dove for sensitive skin (the one with sweet almond oil itself an allergen) and combined them into one bar, Dove Unscented for Sensitive Skin. In so doing, it's changed its main surfuctant and other ingredients.
An online search revealed complaints about itchiness and the new Dove. One wbsite site in particular on the treatment of eczema has an enormous amount of information on detergents, soap and their effects on eczema especially the change in Dove soap. It no longer recommends it for eczema. Please see the comments section for more information.
Interestingly, itchiness and redness with the new formulation was brought up by a costumer in Dove's own website and no solution is given other than Customer Service's phone number.
I've also found some mentions of another Dove ingredient, "Sodium tallowate" tallow, sometimes derived from cattle as sometimes causing a reaction in people with milk allergies, causing flare ups in acne and eczema. Whether this too caused an allergic reaction in our daughter, I don't know.
We thought our case was isolated. However, it's possible that the skin problems related to the new Dove may be more widespread. I hope this information helps as this change was done quietly by the manufacturer.
We also found sweet almond oil in the Cetaphil cream she was prescribed an allergen for anyone with a tree nut allergy. We stopped using it later and the remaining red raised patches she had also diappeared. Other changes that were recommended including a change to Tide Free it didn't help my daughter but it healed my red, cracked hands, the result of doing laundry 2-3x a day with All Free.
Granted, individual reactions to products vary but the new ingredients in Dove may be causing allergies rather than helping them. None of the three doctors consulted knew of the formula change in Dove nor realized that the "Dove + cetaphil" combo they were recommending were causing the very symptoms (itching and rash) they were trying to treat. It's possible parents may just assume it's ongoing eczema, just like they did. It may not be.
The one major complaint I have about this soap is that apparently one of the things they took out was the binder. Compared even to regular Dove (which isn't particularly known for its durability) this soap has a very short life-span. This is largely due to the fact that when it gets to about a half inch in thickness, it crumbles and disintegratesand this is through regular use, not abuse like dropping it. This results in a lot of wastage, and a bar usually lasts me about 2-3 weeks. The original Dove lasts at least a month per bar, and some cheaper soaps like Lever 2000 can last a good two months. As such, though these sensitive skin bars are great for your skin, they certainly don't come cheap. I wouldn't recommend you use them unless the regular Dove and/or competitors' soaps cause you skin problems.

I have very dry sensitive skin and I check the pH (with pH measuring strips) of any soap I use. Most soaps, even the expensive ones, have pH in the range 8-9.5, which means they are harsh on the skin and they strip off the natural acidic mantle.This soap has pH 7, which means its at the point of neutrality from the chemical point of view, and it is affordable.
It cleans very well but does not dry the skin out.
It is by far my favorite soap for the whole body and the only one I have been used in the past few years.
I read some complaining about the short life span of these soap bars. Put them in the refrigerator for longer life.

For years I purchased expensive, high end products that claimed to be gentle, calming and non-aggravating for acne. None of them worked as well as I had hoped, and furthermore they often irritated my skin and made my acne worse when used in conjunction with other prescribed acne medications. Since I clearly wasn't choosing the right cleanser on my own, I spoke to my dermatologist and asked what they would recommend. If you have severe acne and/or are looking for a gentle, non-drying, non-comedogenic cleanser that won't break your budget, give this a shot! Don't hesitate to put it on your face, as it really works as an amazing facial cleanser.

I have to say that I am totally disappointed in the Dove unscented sensitive skin bar of soap. In the last half year I have bought this soap and found that the soap starts to get a dip in the center of the soap and by the fourth day there is a hole in the middle of the soap. Something has changed in the formula of the soap that you actually see it disintegrating from the center outward till it falls apart. Hate to say that this is a waste of a bar of soap and it is not worth the money one spends on it to last only a few days before falling apart.

This stuff is great! It smells great. I love the smell of nag champa, but since I'm in a dorm, I can't burn the incense. Luckily I still get to smell it every time I take a shower (and this stuff makes me want to shower more often which is good for a college student). One reviewer observed that it smells like hotel soap. I too observed this, but that's also just kind of how nag champa normally smells. Plus, would you want to smell entirely like incense all the time? This gives you that subtle nag smell while also just smelling clean.My only concern was that the bar is a little small, but it is clearly labeled as 75 grams (2.5 ounces), so that's entirely on my end not knowing what to expect. I'm pretty sure this same thing is on Amazon but as a 4 pack of 150 gram bars for $20. I'd recommend trying this one out and if you like it, picking up the larger amount since it is more cost effective. All in all, I'm loving this product!

this is now my new fav soap! I have already ordered more! I have no real complaints about this soap, other than it's really not what I expected. I enjoy burning Nag Champa incense sticks for their fresh, clean scent, and I had really expected this soap to reflect the same experience in the shower. Not so. It has a bare whiff of Nag Champa, with over 98% of the scent smelling like plain old soap. OK my title is a lil over the top and hokey; however this product is most way cool. Cleanse the skin, smells good not girly, does not leave a soap film, and rinses well. If you are a dirt bag and really want to change then get this soap now!

The Green Tea and Cucumber odor of all of Dove's soaps and body mists with this odor is amazing. It is subtle, but pleasant and not overpowering, whereas about 75% of the fragrances on the market truly stink and make me wince. The fresh odor and cool feeling of applying the deodorant, the body soap (in liquid or bar form) and the body spray makes me feel and smell great.I do not like musk or the perfumey or rubbing alcohol odors of most of the fragrances on the market. I have allergies to grass pollen and often times scented products really bother me. I tried this soap on recommendation from a friend and I love it. The scent is very pleasent and doesn't bother me a bit. The soap is creamy, yet exfoliating. I shared a bar with my daughter-in-law, and a couple of months later my son was all over me trying to find out where I got the soap from. He has always had a skin problem, and he couldn't believe what a difference a bar of soap could make. I used to have really poor skin and when I was 18 I started using this soap. I was amazed at how well it treated my skin. I notice a big difference when I switch to other soaps as I start getting acne again, even 9 years later. I buy them in bulk. Each bar lasts me around 3-4 months and I use it twice a day. It's amazing how long it lasts in comparison to the standard soaps like Dial bought in the supermarket. It may be more expensive, but I would have to buy 3 bars of dial just to last me as long as this soap lasts. I love the scent-not that strong, but nice.
