Mario Badescu A.H.A. Botanical Body Soap
I am BANANAS about this cleanser. It exfoliates gently and has helped solve a myriad of problems for me: back and chest breakouts, ingrown hairs, those weird upper arm bumps. (I know, I'm a lucky girl.) But this cleanser makes it so you'd never know how awful my skin really is. I use it with a loofah, and I follow it with an AHA body moisturizer, and it has made a humungo difference. The smell of it to me is fresh and unisex. Not too girly, so the Mr. can use it, too. And it's loads cheaper than other brands I've tried. I'm a lifer!!!Also, not tested on animals. That's cool.

I love this AHA Botanical Body Soap and it'll be one of my essentials from now on. First off, it smells so good--it's a light, fruity kind of grapefruit scent, subtle enough to be unisex. It lathers nicely and leaves your skin feeling very smooth and clean. I use this wash with exfoliating shower gloves on my back, chest, shoulders, hips, butt (yes, I'm gonna go there) and for exfoliating my legs. It helps with acne in the sense of sloughing off dead skin, but has no antibacterial properties if that's what you need. It also tremendously improves keratosis pilaris, those annoying bumps that usually appear on your upper arms and hips. With the economical size and price, this is a great value. I'm a very happy girl.

How wonderful it has been the past two years after trying Grandma's for the first time!I have had seborrhea on my face, scalp and hairline that had been nasty for at least 65 years. The family always called it cradle cap. At times it got so bad it bled! Not anymore; Grandma's made a difference from the very first bar! I have 2 1/2 bars on the shelf and wouldn't think to use anything else.

For years I have used pricey products to wash my face.....not anymore. after using this soap for bath I decided to try it on my face. How surprised was I...dumfounded is the word. This looked very cute so I bought one for each of my three kids. They cost $5.98 each but I was saddened by the fact that shipping for three cost me $15.00, especially since they were INCREDIBLY small in size, and it would have been nice if the soaps were fragranced. I was very disappointed with this soap. I bought it for the scent which is described as "hints of pumpkin, cinnamon and spice" in fact it has no scent that I can detect at all. When I received it I smelled the box nothing. Opened the box and smelled the soap nothing. I took a shower with it no scent at all. As a soap it's acceptable but do not expect the scents that are claimed. Definitely not worth it considering the cost.

Primal Elements describes this soap's scent as "minty," and it's certainly thatit has a definite mint note. But there's a number of other notes as well, and I'd describe this more accurately as an herbal/woody mint, as there's some clear wood-based notes. The scent is fairly masculine. Like most Primal Elements soaps, this is a pleasure to look atdeep blue with snowflakes scattered through the bar. I like the scent well enough, but probably not enough to repurchase. Lap swimming three times a week in the local public pool suddenly began to give me dermatitis issues. I ordered the chlorine neutralizing bar soap, not available locally, to use in conjunction with anti-chlorine shampoo. Having resolved the dermatitis, this soap appears to be protecting me, so to speak, from further recurrence. Not only that, but it has a fairly decent odor wherein the shampoo I buy locally has a somewhat chemical smell. In short, it's working, smells fine. I gave this soap a try as a way to combat chlorine, and it did not disappoint. It lathers well (even in hard water) and rinses clean, and that's most of what I look for in a soap.When I opened the box, the fragrance seemed extremely strong and perfume-y. However, the smell has diminished considerably over just a few weeks. In fact, even when I used it in the shower for the first time the smell wasn't as strong as it had been upon opening the box. I guess that would be a minus if you like fragrance with staying power, but I'm happy to use the least-scented things I can.
The ingredient list is fairly short:
Saponified Olive, Coconut and Palm Oils; Distilled Water; Soymilk, Fragrance, Color, Chlorine Neutralizer.
It doesn't say what the chlorine neutralizer IS, however, and also doesn't identify the fragrance or color used. Fortunately I haven't gotten either sinus symptoms or dermatitis from it, so it doesn't seem to use anything too noxious.
The soap itself does not dry out my skin, but it isn't moisturizing. If you have problems with dry skin, do still use a moisturizer post-shower.
It's definitely worth a try.

I swim at my local "Y" three times a week, and have started using this soap in addition to my chlorine removal shampoo and conditioner. The bar has a subtle scent, not too much lather, and is long lasting. Though my legs still itch occasionally, I chalk that up to winter dryness more than improper chlorine removal. I'm going to continue using this (and since I can't buy it locally, I have to order it via the Internet). Good product!
Curved Rectangle Tray Wood Soap Dish
I've had this for more than 4 months to give it a good try out. I did not purchase it for soap, but my experience could stand up for that as well. The wood stands up well; there is no sign of deterioration either.I wanted something I could put my kitchen sponges on and let them dry without sticking to the kitchen counter or with one side staying damp. This absolutely works perfectly and believe me I am not a good "squeezer-outer" so the sponge when it goes back on these wooden slats is pretty damp.
It is about 3/4" high, 3 1/2" wide and 4 1/2" long.
This works wonderful, keeps things dry, looks unique and best of all does the job.
