Dr Piercing's Aftercare: 36 Medication Filled Swab Pack

Up until now I'd been using two tools to maintain my piercing cotton buds, and a medicated lubricating gel that did a good job but left behind a flakey residue when it dried. Also I travel a lot, and in my toilet bag my cotton buds invariably get fluffy. Dr Piercing's Aftercare is super handy, with it's own little carry box (so my buds don't fluff), and the medication in the swabs keeps my piercing in good condition without leaving behind any residue. It also means I only need to take one product around with me when I travel, which is great, and the medicated-bud thing means its less messy than using a gel-based product.The only negative is that if you're someone fairly active, 36 swabs per pack won't get you very far. I gym regularly so often swab twice a day, which means I get through a pack quite quickly.

these things are great. they are so much easier to use than having to try to wash a piercing with soap and water like most piercers tell you to. you get the same results in my opinion, except these are a million times more convenient. they are great if you travel or are spending the night somewhere too cause they are everything you need in one little swab. it takes less than a minute to do, which is good if you are really tired one night and just want to go to bed, or if you are rushing around in the morning.

definitely recommend to anyone.

They are a nice way to avoid taking a whole bottle of H2Ocean and q tips along everywhere for my new nose piercing. My piercer had not heard of these, and advised me to be cautious, so I've only been using them when I'm out of the house for long enough that I'm really in need of some aftercare. They work nicely, but are quite expensive...

Im African American btw, and i have a medium brown skin tone,so if it can make my face bright and lovely, it should make the rest of my body glow!

Soap has never mattered to me. I normally walk into Target and grab the cheapest soap available. But a friend gave me this soap as a gift, and I love the jasmine and flowers smell. But the best part of this soap is how it feels. It is very smooth and velvety, and leaves my dry skin feeling softer and more supple after I shower.

Sometimes, I want to soap myself twice just to experience it all over again...

There are many different Nubian soaps on Amazon. I thought that what I had ordered was unscented, but I received Lavender and Wildflowers. Due to my allergies, I will not be able to try this soap out and will have to give to a friend. If you like Lavender than you will probably like this scent, unfortunately anything with a scent causes me to get a migraine. I was hoping to be able to purchase a shea butter that was unscented... guess I will have to continue my search.

All the soaps say they are moisturizing, but this one really is. It holds the subtle scent it has through the long life of the bar, too. The quality is truly far above any other soap I have tried, and I have tried dozens and dozens! The packaging is beautiful also. It is made by an independent company in Portugal, by a family that has been making this soap since the nineteenth century. Excellent gift and and also an affordable luxury for yourself, because though the large bars are about $16, they last more than six months in perfect condition, getting smaller very very slowly.

I was first attracted to these soaps by the "wallpaper art" wrappers, the names and then (sniff) the fragrence!!! They last quite a long time, do not break up even when thin. I've used them until they're as small as a dime but thinner and still producing lather. I have a clear plastic 16 pocket shoebag hanging on the back of my bathroom door to display my collection of soaps and the wrappers I just couldn't throw away. I've used Tobaco, Banho, Ilylia, Favorito and Vanille. Just purchased Voga and Lelite.

The soap is well-milled and smells great. The size of the bar, however, is rather large. If you have smaller hands, you need to develop a "strategy" to hold bar without dropping. Costly but the bar lasts for months.

I bought Palmer's fade cream and received a bar of soap as a free extra. It's great! My skin became more even and blemishes went away. It is very gentle and I wear contacts. After washing my face I can put my contacts right in and there's no burning. When I use to use other facial cleaners, residue would be left on my fingers even after repeated rinsing or if I put the contacts in and then washed my face I would sometimes get burning with my eyes. I'm so pleased I'm getting another bar for my whole body.

It leaves my skin soft and not dry. It keeps it clear from pimples without overdrying. After using this product, I do see a difference in my breakouts and in my acne scars on my face. It does seem to dry out your skin, but I use a moisturizer on my skin after use. My face seems to be less red than it was before also.

I love this companyand I'm super happy with this soap. I give Primal Elements as gifts, use it in all the bathrooms, and also have a bar in the kitchen. I love matching the soap to the seasonand this one also has a very nice smelloranges and a bit of floral essence. My bar is NOT as clear in terms of the background as the bar pictured. There is some orange "haze" around the sunbut I like that. I have orange Fiesta, and I use this in the kitchenwhere the dishes are orange and the accents are red. It's perfect! I love the way this soap feels on my skin, and I always sniff the lather, because I really love the scents they use in these. I can also recommend the candles and the roll on perfumes. I have not tried the lip gloss or the liquid soaps.

The new Camay doesn't smell quite the same as the old, beloved, cult favorite Camay. The soap is soft and gentle as it ever was. It's still pale pink and pretty, and the suds are soft and rich. I was happy to find it at Amazon -the price is lower than it is elsewhere -and I'll order it again. But that wonderful old fragrance will just have to stay a fond childhood memory.

I may be one of the few people out there that feels strongly about bar soap. While I don't want a soap to dry out my skin (who would?), I also want it to actually clean me (doesn't seem to much to ask). I think most soaps go one way or the other (ie beauty bars are moisturizing, yet either leave a film on your skin... or you deodorant gets left behind; some soaps are just too harsh!). Camay was all my grandmother used, and I guess she knew what she was doing. And, it may be pink, but my husband says that's the only girly thing about it (ie, it doesn't smell overly perfumey). Happy I can find it on Amazon, as it's often not available in our local stores.
