Dr. Woods Shea Vision Pure Castile Soap Baby Mild Unscented -- 32 fl oz

This product probably represents the best soap investment I've ever made and I've made a number of them. I have extraordinarily dry skin and I'm always trying new soaps. Dr. Woods not only has the benefit of natural skin softeners, it also rinses cleanly off skin, tub, tile and fixtures. There is absolutely no residue on anything. This is especially nice, since I use white washcloths and towels. Other castile soaps that I've tried have always left them discolored, but not this one. It is almost scent free and can be used as a shampoo as well. I'll keep trying other products, but this is far and away the best one I've used yet.

Very disappointed in Amazon for this one. I have an illness and am very sensitive to smells. I thought this would be perfect but then smelled it and it smells like Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo. Read the ingredients and indeed it says Parfums. Im too ill to run and return it so, I guess I got taken on this one.. Maybe I'll find a use for it or give it away..

I love this organic soap in the green tea scent and am a repeat buyer.

HOWEVER, instead of receiving what is pictured here (and what I've received in the past) which are OVAL-SHAPED bars, I received rectangular-shaped bars. What's the big deal, you ask? Well the rectangular-shaped bars don't fit in my soap dish! They're the same weight (5 oz) but the shape makes a difference.

Ah well...guess I can try cutting them in half.

I received the Lavender soap as a gift a few years ago. It was wonderful and made my skin feel soft and smooth. The frangrance is delightful and does not over power you after your shower. When I travel I take a bar with me. I bring the box sets as hostess gifts. Everyone loves them. They last a long time. I find them economical and a box of four would last me a year. The Green Tea is also wonderful. I am allergic to most perfumes and fragrances. Olivia Care products are pure and natural. My sister had this curious-looking box of soaps inside her bathroom cabinet. I took one out and sniffed. Heaven! The scent is not overwhelming at all. It's a delicate floral perfume scent that slowly fades away. A quality soap that is French-milled, this soap rinses easily off of your skin. (We have hard water here, so it may react differently in soft water). I also have sensitive skin and do not have much of a reaction to the ingredients. It is definitely pricey, however, I splurge a bit with soaps so it is worth it. (No on else in my house gets to use these bars, though!)

I only use Mrs. Meyers soap (fabric softener and cleaner too). I first started using this soap when I went on a seven-day white water rafting trip--requiring a bio-degradable soap. I was hooked and have been using it now for a few years. The bar lasts a very long time and smells great. It is not too sweet or flowery. It is a fresh scent. I bought a case of 12 because I know I will use it. The lavender scent is also nice.

The bars of soap are huge and can last for a long time, my skin feels clean and fresh not oily. I have tried other flavors but nothing tops the geranium scent for me. I use most of the other Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day products it is nice to smell your house clean without horrible toxic fumes.

My mother used Yardley products. They were considered very posh in the early 50s. Although this may not smell exactly like a bunch of fresh violets, it brings back so many memories. As a longtime fan of violet soaps, I thought I'd try this product. England, after all, grows sweet violets, whereas ours have virtually no scent. Was I disappointed! I wish I could rate a product as "Zero Stars", but one is the fewest I can post. This soap smells like a junior chemist's attempt at recreating a scent never encountered, as a Recycling 101 assignment involving synthetic fragrances used in tire-manufacturing. Worse yet, the stuff was ultra-potent: it reeked to high Heaven! It was literally so bad that I put it in the trunk of my car to drive to the Post Office -and even so, people who drove with me in the next few days asked about "that funny smell". Cross my heart... I suggest readers try a violet/hybrid blend like 1902, which is French, or another scent by one of the French or Italian firms. I'd recommend Roger & Gallet, which makes a fabulously-scented, silky-lathering carnation soap, but they've never produced a violet, or at least, haven't in recent decades. To commiserate with my fellow reviewer of yet another "not violet" soap: I, too, miss Verly's, now that the factory has ceased production. I've also longed, on and off, for soaps by that ever-luxurious and, presumably, likewise-extinct brand, Parfumerie Monpelasse. (Pardon any spelling blunder, s'il vous plait, but the muguet des bois was to die for.) In short, if you ask me, the EU's chief consequence is "P-U!"

Our current favorite bath soap, it's really mild and great for dry skin. It is exfoliating but not rough, they don't over-do it.

Finally, a soap that doesn't make me feel like my skin has been shrink wrapped when I step out of the shower. I've tried the glycerin based, the goat milk based and seemingly dozens more, but this is the best for dry skin. I would love to try this soap in another sent or no sent at all.

DermaZinc Soap - 3.75 oz

When ZNP Bar disappeared, I was shocked at the lack of alternative products and disappointed I had not been notified in time to build up a stash! I had used ZNP for many years to control my seborrheic dermatitis and within a week I was desperate! Then my dermatologist recommended DermaZinc and after trying it, I was glad ZNP went away because DermaZinc works equally well but it is not as drying as the ZNP Bar, so my skin actually feels better. Now, as I reorder my quantity supply, I find there are other Zinc Pyrithione 2% soaps out there that cost much more. Everyone should have tried DermaZinc instead.

There is another product that my Dad has used for years, but are having trouble keeping up with demand. I found this on Amazon by just putting in the active ingredents, (Zinc). Bars are a little smaller then the previous soap he was using, but otherwise he cannot tell a difference. This product works great on his rashes. ( He has very sensitive skin, and problems with skin cancer popping up now and then.) The Dematolgist recommenened soap with Zinc, and I showed him this bar, he said he would reccomend it available on Amazon.

This is my favorite soup in the world! I was very depressed because my psoriasis attacked 90% of my body, I wasn't able to walk or sleep without pain, I don't have a health insurance and paying for the shots was not a possibility. I decided to buy soap and take a long shower and take off all the patches with a small towel (very painful) and use this soap and leave it for a few minutes (even more painful) I don't work for these guys, I actually tried all the dermazinc soaps and they all work so you don't have to buy this specific brand. I've been using this soap for the last year and I'm really grateful, I'm not cured and this is not a cure but since i've been using it I only get 2 or 3 small patches. The fastest way to get results is to take off all your patches while taking a shower and then use the soap, This is going to hurt a lot, I cried when i did it, but in less than 4 days i was able to sleep and walk without any pain. I hope it works for every single person because psoriasis is really debilitating.
