I was so disappointed when I received this. I expected the wisteria soap of the past not knowing they changed the formula and there was not even a resemblance to the wisteria. I have since paid the same amount as I did here on ebay to get the old formula. The company should let customers know that this is not the same wisteria!

Like the other reviewer, I bought two bars of this while in Ireland. I used the first bar, but haven't had the heart to use the second one. I'm instead using it as a "sachet" in my drawer. I'm so glad I found it here on Amazon!

I just received this in the mail and had to put in a drawer so it wouldn't stink the whole room up! I guess I was expecting a cross between delicate and earthy, but the only way to describe this is loud! It is VERY "perfumy". Just read the ingredients and it does list essence of heather, however, fragrance (parfum) is listed first. The aroma is wonderfully floral without being heavy or lingering. (Jasmine seems to be the most prominent aroma but lightly fades and doesn't interfere with perfume.) The soap base is shea butter and leaves my skin feeling light and clean without drying. This price is also a great deal since I know that my fiance paid around $30 for this at a stylish boutique near my work. My 6 year old son has eczema. I was tired of the medicated soaps and opted for something new and natural. This soap has done wonders for his skin. The soap is a little coarse to the touch it is soft scented and does not leave the skin with a film or residue. After one week, I have already seen a tremendous difference in his skin. This soap is wonderful. Both my husband and I love it. I have sensitive skin that is extremely dry and his job makes his skin dry. I have always had to use either a lot of lotion after showering or oil so I wouldn't look and feel dry and itch constantly and he would only use lotion if I forced it on him. After using this soap once we noticed a huge difference in how our skin felt. Now after using it just a few times, I only need a little lotion on a couple of places and he hasn't had to use any at all. It has a light, fresh scent that is delightful. It rinses clean and your skin feels fresh and soft and looks healthy and supple. Maybe it's the Florida humidity, but I've been using this soap for about a month and a half now and I LOVE IT! Everything from the smell to the way it moisturizes my skin; I don't need to use lotion anymore. I'm about to order some from another amazon vendor that has it for cheaper lol.
My Italian exchange student asked me to get this for her because she uses it in Italy and it is the only soap that does not break her out. I decided to try it for myself and absolutely love it. I looked up every ingredient and it is all natural. My skin does not feel dry, tight, or scummy after using it, and it has a pleasant odor even though there are no perfumes in it. I must say that I didn't but this for weight loss, but for skin. I tried a different seaweed soap and it was wonderful for my skin so much so that I could skip wearing lotion. Since that soap is very pricey I considered this soap. It is ok as far as leaving skin soft and adding moisture. The other soap was better. This soap has a fragrance that I am not too happy with, but it does die down after a while. Also immediately after bathing I was kind of itchy whereas seaweed tends to be soothing. Will not repurchase.

I really love this soap. It has a nice fragrance, really cleans and exfoliates, and leaves my skin incredibly soft! My only complaint is that I wish I had bought more than one bar! I take two showers a day and one bar lasted me a week. So, if you only take one shower, you should get 2 weeks of usage out of one bar. This is my fav.soap. It has a clean scent and gets me clean without drying my skin out. I have been using this soap for a long time. I love it.
This does not smell like lemons like they say on the wrapping. It is a very good soap but has very little lemon scent which is why I bought it.
I don't own this, so I can't say anything about lather, how long it lasts, etc. But I can tell you I smelled this recently and it's fantastic. Some of the Thymes products are so subtle that I can't even smell them. This one smells more strongly, and has a subtle but very nice citrusy smell--similar to a grapefruit type. And the bar itself is very cool looking with that agave flower in relief on the bar. I'm buying several of these as stocking stuffers. One possible downside: If this is the same size as in the store, then these are so much bigger than standard soaps (such as an Ivory soap bar) that arguably, some people, such as elderly female relatives, etc. might find them hard to handle...
Zote is my preferred brand for making laundry detergent. Fels-Naptha seems to be highly recommended but honestly, Zote works SO much better. I'm not sure why this is, but with Zote (compared to FN) I had less fading, I rarely had to rewash items, etc. Overall a better product, in my opinion. The bright pink scented bar seems a little at odds with an all natural approach, but my kids with sensitive skin never had a reaction and it cleaned the clothes well. Overall, we save quite a bit of money making our own detergent and Zote is the brand I prefer to use. I've been making my own detergent for about two years now.

This use to be a great soap. I used it in my homemade laundry detergent. Then, about a year ago, it seems that the company changed the ingredients because now, it is so waxy that it will not dissolve in water, even boiling water. Too bad, I use to love this soap....pretty useless to me now as it does not dissolve in the washing machine.
"Miyoshi bath soap" is a very nice Japanese product. It has a pleasingly subtle, non-overpowering scent of what seems to me like sweet lychee -suitable for both men and women -and the soapbar foams up well on a waschcloth. Unlike some flimsy American soaps, the bar is quite long lasting, and doesn't wear away after just a few showers. Here in the area of Irvine, Southern California, I was able to find the soap at Mitsuwa's Japanese Market. Apparently you can order online from Amazon too.

This soap smells amazing in the shower! Especially if you like the smell of almonds and cherries. It leaves a very light scent on the skin afterwards. I read all the reviews prior to my purchase and purchased it anyway. I am glad I did. It feels great on my skin. I had no problems with the lather. It bubbled up just fine of course I do not use a regular washcloth. I use an exfoliating wash cloth that is almost a mesh like material. I received my item 5 full days prior to the promise date by regular mail. It was well wrapped in shrink wrap and in a padded envelope. I will purchase again but I would so prefer this item if it were an Amazon Prime item.

This is a great shampoo and really fun to use. It has a light fluffy lather and smells wonderful. However, before purchasing you should know that if you have super hard water, it may be hard for you to use this soap. In addition, it may take a while for your hair to get used to something that doesn't have sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate--the detergent (yes, detergent) that is in most conventional shampoos, which are incidentally really bad for your hair. If you're having trouble getting out the excess shampoo, you can use an apple cider vinegar/water mix. If this sounds too high maintenance, keep in mind that it should only take a week to get used to the soap, and after that you can ditch the vinegar or only use it occasionally. After the adjustment period, it will keep your hair MUCH cleaner. I have semi long thick hair and with most shampoos I had to wash every day or my hair would be a big grease ball, not so with this. I wash twice a week, and in between time my hair stays soft and pretty, and I don't need to condition.

JR Liggett's bar shampoo is probably one of the best things that ever happened to my hair. For starters, it does not contain the harsh detergent Sodium Laurel Sulfate, which most conventional shampoos have. SLS strips the oils from your hair, leaving your hair damaged, and with an overproduction of oil to compensate. This overproduction makes you need to wash your hair constantly to keep the oil at a reasonable level. This shampoo does not have SLS in it, and I can go quite a while without washing it usually my skin feels yucky long before my hair starts to feel gross in any way.Want J.R.
