Dudu Osun Soap

I have used this soap for a week and I LOVE it! It has left my skin soft, smooth, and oil free even in 100 degree humid heat. But, what most people need to understand is HOW to use this soap. DO NOT use a wash rag, poof, sponge, or any other device. Use ONLY your hands! Wet your hands, lather the soap up in your hands, then wash your body from head to toe with ONLY YOUR HANDS. You do not need to scrub! Of course you will get too dry & itchy if you are scrubbing too hard with this soap. This soap cleanses so well you only need your HANDS. If you do break out after a couple of days of using this soap, don't give up. I too got a few bumps after a few uses, but they are now clearing up and going away. I think this maybe due to the soap getting the impurities out of my pores. I LOVE THIS SOAP! I only wish I had found it years ago! My freckles seem to be fading, old pimple scars are fading, my pores are shrinking, and my over all skin tone is evening out! Just remember DO NOT SCRUB! Be gentle & the soap will be gentle to you!

I haven't had bad skin since I was a teenager. I purchased this originally for my wife and started to use it just to see how it well it works. The soap looks a little funky, and sure does make a mess in our shower (black/brown stream down our wall, if not properly rinsed) but it helps. I've always had those small black heads around my nose that are near impossible to remove but this appears to have helped. I don't see them anymore, I'm a little taken back because I've had that issue for so long so I really don't know how to believe other than before I started using the soap I had it and now... I don't.

Face feels incredibly clean after use, removes all dirt and oil. Great combo is this soap with jojoba oil to moisten the skin. I'm not metro-sexual, nor do I care that much about how I look (sorry wife) but all in all I'm really pleased with the product.

I've been using this soap every night for a month straight and I haven't noticed any positive or negative changes in my face. Essentially it works just like any bar of regular soap (at least for me). The one thing I don't like about it is that it's very drying. If you use this soap make sure you have your favorite moisturizer at hand.

When I used this soap on my face, my skin felt squeaky clean and tight. On my body, it cleared some of my skin, but not all. When I got a rash from an allergic reaction to my new cat, this soap cleared it up in a few days. I would definitely recommend this soap to someone else. It has a mild, soapy scent. It does leave brown residue where ever you leave it in the shower. It also lathers up a little brown at first. I wouldn't recommend you use it on a white sponge or a washcloth.

This product did what every single Macy's, Online & infomercial line of products has not been able to do. It completely cleared up my skin, evened my skin tone and unclogged & shrunk the appearance of my pores. It also did the same for my 60 year old mother and my 82 year old grandmother (I am 28 with sensitive, combo skin). When you wash your face/body with this product, right after your top layer (dead skin cells) will crumble right off with some help (exfoliant/washcloth). I only use natural soaps, so I am thrilled to learn about this black soap. Some other reviewers mentioned staining and expiration dates. I have a white sink counter and there has been no staining. Sure, the bubbles that drop turn to brown spots, but I wipe them away. I've also used this with a white washcloth and there was no staining just rinse it clean. I ordered mine from Amazon with no way to know the exp. date. Ordered 5/2013 and received a batch exp. 2/2014. This smells like fir trees or a pine forest to me, very fresh & pleasant scent. Also, this soap is half the price of other natural soaps!

My daughter breaks out near her hair line. She was begging me to get some Proactive. I didn't want to have to special order it and also wanted to try a natural product first. I stumbled upon this soap while searching for acne soap on Amazon. It's amazing! Within 2 days her acne has disappeared! She loves the soap, and I am happy to have found a product I can feel good about her using that contains no harsh chemicals. I tried it with my dry skin and it has worked for me as well getting rid of some dry patches on my face. We will be buying it again!

Sappo Hill makes fantastic soap. It's very mild and creates a rich, lasting lather. I was sick of using soaps/cleansers that were full of preservatives and sodium laureth sulfate, and I wanted a product with minimal packaging (enough with the plastic, already!). Then I found Sappo Hill, and I've never looked back. Because their soap is so gentle, I use the non-scented variety on my face -I have sensitive, oily, blemish-prone skin, and this soap cleanses my face without drying. It rinses off effortlessly, leaving my face squeaky clean (but not overly-so). With a shockingly minimal ingredient list, I know there's nothing in it that will irritate my skin or interfere with my acne treatment or moisturizer.

As I keep the bar at my bathroom sink, I also use it to wash my hands. One bar lasts me about eight weeks with daily use on hands and face. I usually buy this soap by the bar from my local organic grocery, which is great because it has absolutely zero packaging (except for the UPC sticker on one side). If you bought this 12-unit set, I imagine it would come in the same recycled/-able cardboard box used for shipping/displaying at the store.

I've tried three other varieties of Sappo Hill's soap -lavender, sandalwood, and oatmeal -and all are top quality and long-lasting. Highly recommended!

How do you title soap? Anyway I am allergic to most soaps. I go into a sneeze fit when I use most soaps. This soap is great. No fragrance, no sneezing. It cleans, no "BO". I'm a happy camper.

Caswell Massey Almond Cold Cream Bath Soap

I had never used Caswell Massey products before, until I was introduced to them at a hotel. I immediately fell in love with the entire Almond line. The soaps smell unbelievably amazing, and leave your skin feeling so silky. This cold cream bath soap is pretty much amazing. It looks plain and uneventful, but don't judge the soap by it's dull cover. The lather that comes from this bar is impressive to say the least. You start to feel your skin turn to goo (I mean the good goo, not the flesh eating chemical goo, that would be bad) within moments of using it. Yes it's a bit pricey if you're a standard user of ZEST or any other cheaper bar, but I would consider it a nice treat for yourself and would highly recommend hiding it from anyone under the age of 13, they couldn't possible appreciate it's wonderfulness; they'd most likely end up chewing on it or whatever kids like to do with soap.

I guess it was about four years ago when our family discovered Soap Rocks, made by a man who is a gemologist and made soaps that beautifully resemble their counterpart in nature. Lovely, extremely well don. But te quality of the soap is every bit as high in it's standard as the soap's appearance. It lathers nicely and is moisturizing to the skin. They may seem pricey when buying them, but they last a very long time, which maked them more like a bargain. I often give them as a gift to friends, pastors, people who help me with chores, even prizes to childlren at birthday parties. I have an admiration for real rocks that the Lord designed and I am very fond of these that are made of soap too.

Coming from a dude who is not super picky about his soaps, I will say, this is not my favorite. It cleans fine but the smell is very odd and tobacco-ey. The smell dissipates slightly over time, but when you first open the box, it is potent.

Perhaps that is what Dial thinks that a "man" smells like,..?

We had been using this soap for a while and our local grocery store could not keep it in stock. Found a source online. Product is equivalent to other Dial soaps as far as cleaning and odor protection but rinses clean with no residue feeling. Doesn't have a perfumey smell.

Caress makes great soap for the shower or even if you're merely washing your hands. Although I personally consider this product to be soap, officially it's a "moisturizing body bar" variant of soap in that it contains a good amount of moisturizers. Regular soap usually doesn't moisturize; and so Caress tries to set their product apart from soap when they advertise the moisturizing abilities of their product. Rest assured, however, that you will find this item where the rest of the soap is stocked in your grocery store.

The bars of soap are comparatively large but they don't slip out of your hands too easily; the shape of the bar helps you hold onto it. These bars of Caress soap do seem to truly help moisturize my skin when I use them to take a shower or wash my hands. I don't truly understand precisely how "silk proteins" and vitamin E work to moisturize my skin; but in the wintertime when my skin gets rather dry I sure do appreciate being able to use this soap!

The scent is mild but if you are sensitive or allergic to any scent you may want to use an unscented type of Caress soap or a different brand of soap. In addition, if any skin condition is a concern for you, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.

I really like Caress soap with its moisturizing ability. Caress is a bit more costly; but it's worth it if you want to pamper your dry skin in the shower or at the bathroom vanity sink.

This moisturizing soap is gentle, yet cleansing, and leaves a wonderful aroma after showering. I would certainly recommend it, especially for us senior gals with dry skin.

First off, we love Caress and I've purchased it through Amazon a couple of times. This is a great price over local stores if you can use mass quantities. The only issue I would like to mention is the scent of this particular selection. It is quite strong and pungent in my opinion. Fortunately, it dissipates quickly after you shower or bathe but I found it a bit overpowering initially. This is, of course, a personal opinion and my hubby has not complained, so consider it as that. I love the moisturizing qualities of the brand, especially in the dry, winter months, and have switched from being a committed Zest girl for that reason.

Bio Claire Lightening Soap 6.7 oz.

I don't recommend this soap because after long usage it thins the skin. It does lighten really fast, in as little as 1 week but the down side is thinning of the skin and eventually tearing. It gives the appearance of stretch/burn marks due to the thinning. After visiting a dermatologist I was told that there is a possibility that the product may include something NOT listed in the ingredients that may be causing this TERRIBLE side effect, steroids. :(

The soap is less destructive than the cream but I don't recommend use of all the products at once.
