Muschio (Musk) Perfumed Bath and Shower Foam with Myrtle Extract by L'Erbolario Lodi

There was a L'Erbolario store in the King of Prussia mall in Pennsylvania for a while. I worked in the mall about 8 years ago, and one day on a lunch break I happened by the store. It was inviting and filled with all kinds of amazing smells that reached me the second I walked inside. I bought three or four different types of products and received samples of a bunch more just for the fact that I made purchases. I shopped there frequently until the store closed.

To my knowledge, there is no other location of this Italian beauty store anywhere in the US today. This product was my absolute favorite out of all those I tried over the years. The scent and the bubbles make for a wonderful bath. It is a subtle yet vibrant scent, that is not specifically masculine or feminine in nature. If you're looking to give yourself a unique treat, grab some of this bath foam. You can also use it as a body wash. As my title reads, this is worth every penny.

One last note when I ordered this through Amazon, I still got samples of other products. L'Erbolario is the best.

This is the best soap I have ever used. It leaves my skin soft and smooth, and the fragrance is absolutely gorgeous. I tend to have dry skin and this helps so much.

I used to buy it in a store but cannot find it anywhere now. I am so afraid Dove will stop making it Dove is a good brand but none of their other soaps come close to being as good as this.

Yardley of London, Moisturizing Soap Almond-3+1 F

I like this soap. I can't stand soaps that have an overpowering fragrance. I also don't like soaps that have moisturizers in them because they fell like you're taking a shower with lotion and they don't rise off properly. On the flip side, I also don't like soaps like Coast and Ivory because they dry your skin out.

This oatmeal soap by Yardley's is perfect as it addresses all the above issues. It smells great, it doesn't make you feel greasy and it doesn't dry your skin out. The oatmeal exfoliates your skin and it feels great. When I use this soap, I really feel clean.

I wish they would sell this in bulk!

This soap is awesome! Especially good for people with sensitive skin, it is mild and soothing! Only bad thing is that a bar seems to go fast . .and that it is terribly hard to find in stores!!

Very nice product. The oatmeal is a gentle exfoliater, not a harsh on your skin. The almond is a sweet smelling, almost candy like scent. More feminine than masculine, however since the scent is not overpowering it can be used by all.

Fair & White so White Savon Gommant Exfoliating Soap #00023

You won't know how much dead skin you have until you use this soap. It really helped lighten dark marks on my legs and gives me smooth skin. If I had to choose one item in the so white! line it would be this soap. I would have gave it five stars but the price is too high for soap. Fortunately it lasts a long time.

I tried this soap. And for the price it is, I thought I would be seeing better results. The soap is almost gone. I've been using it twice a day like it says for 3weeks now and barely see any results. I stay IN THE HOUSE out of the sun. I also used the cream and gel product for better results. Nothing. But I have tried Sure White and it works great. (They don't sell it on here) I guess I'll go back to that. I wanted to try something new to see if the results would be better since the price was high. I will go back to my 8.00 soap. This ended up being about $25 after shipping. WASTE OF MONEY! I gave it 1 star because it made my skin feel refreshing, but that's it!

However, I would not recommend using this base for resale; it does tend to sweat heavily and lose scent after a few weeks (even when shrink wrapped), so bars must be used fairly quickly. Easy to unmold.

I have extremely sensitive skin as I was recently diagnosed with psoriasis. I've been on the hunt for a nice smelling soap that won't irritate the skin. This shea butter soap has a pleasant scent of shea butter and almost puts me in the mind of cashmere. The soap does not leave a lot of reside in the bath tub and doesn't make my skin feel extremely dry after use. Unlike the commercial, you will need to apply some type of moisturizer after use, but again it does not dry out your skin more than any other soap. Madina African Black Soap Cocoa Butter W/Vitamin E 3.5 oz

I bought this thinking it was another African soap similar to the Dudu Osun soap that has all natural ingredients, except that this used cocoa butter for the fat content instead of shea butter (which is in the Dudu Osun brand).

This version of black soap has triclosan (labeled with a similar name used overseas for this chemical), which is an antibacterial chemical I am trying to get away from using because of health issues associated with it (it's reportedly a hormone disruptor, for example). It also has other chemicals in it that are not natural ingredients. The soap works well, though, so it's not a total loss, but I'm not paying this much again for this particular soap. Next time it will be the Dudu Osun brand.

The seller did ship the product within a few days, so it's not like it's a problem with the seller--it's the product. Save your money and get the real thing, whether it's Dudu Osun or another REAL african soap. This soap isn't much different from what you'd buy in a grocery store, except that it has cocoa butter in it, which is easier on the skin than most detergent bars we call "soap."

I had some similar experiences to the reviewer SaraLevine...dry skin and redness around the eyes and forehead. I tried a lot of different soaps and creams...even other brands of black soap, including the more expensive organic brands. For some reason, this particular Madina black soap is the only thing that has worked for me. I found that I need to wash my face with it, but rinse it off after a few seconds to get the best results. I get acne on occasion...or I used to, when I first used this soap it got rid of the acne more quickly and, now, that I've been using it for a couple of months I haven't even seen any more acne. As Sara said, it makes the oily parts not so oily and the dry parts not so dry. An amazing soap for sure!

I have problems with my skin. Its weird. Its sensative, oily yet dry and nothing seemed to work. I also have acne. This soap is a miracle. I know I must sound like a info-mercial but i'm not. This soap caters to my sensative skin. Nothing damaging or itching happened when I used it. It made the oily parts not oily and the dry parts not so dry. It didnt cure my acne but prevented lots more from popping up. I still have those under the skin zits that hurt but it decreased it by alot. Shea Butter Black Soap

I can say that both this and the raw Black soapworks the same because while I tried this particular type of BLACK SOAP first, (having used it in the past, knowing its results. I used it often purchased at my local beauty supply store, or the "oil & incense" man on the side street who also sells this item). After I started hearing all over YOUTUBE videos, and on the web that this soap, or any other "manufactured and labeled" products as "BLACK SOAP" were NOT actually the "REAL' Black Soap, derived in AFRICA or processed as the REAL NATURAL, brown in color, bumpy textured, (made by hand in AFRICA "BLACK SOAP" with all natural ingredients, & nutrients). I did the research & purchased the raw natural BLACK SOAP to try it out for myself. I ordered them both. Both products are not expensive. I purchased 2 bars of this one at about $7.00 with shipping, & paid $7 bucks for a 1 lbs hunk of the natural black Soap. I have used both about a month now.

Eventhough, Madina's African Black Soapdoes not got through a natural process, as the Natural, bumpy textured, brown "REAL" Raw AFRICAN derived Black Soap does, Its ingredients work the same (great for numerous skin benefits. Do your research) in fact, I notice quicker results with Madina's brand, as far as ridding my skin of acne, and scars/marks, making it smooth and soft (smells nice but is not loud or overpowering at all) I thought I'd purchase the Natural Raw Black Soap & would decide after a several uses to stop using Madinas Black Soap, but Im going to continue to use this black Soap, along with the Raw version. They both are very good for my skin (clear it up, leaving my skin clean & healthy.)I have used both on my face & body, but the Raw Black soap I am using mainly on my face, maybe spot treat certain areas of my body, while every day I shower with Madina's brand Black Soap Full Body lather & rinse--daily. They both work great on my skin (cant speak for everyone else). Both black soaps are the only soap I use currently on my body. They are both great for the skin.

My husband uses this soap and it is wonderful. It makes his skin very soft and has a nice, clean smell. It is also good for minimizing scarring. Very moisturizing.
