Lemongrass 100% Pure & Natural Aromatherapy Herbal Soap- 4 oz (113g)

Good soap formulation, real lemongrass smell -I only wish it was more of a rectangle bar shape, because it would be easier to hold. Plus these flat soaps seem to dissolve pretty quickly. But it's the best smelling lemongrass soap I've found on Amazon, so I'll buy again.

I can't say enough positive things about Plantlife soaps.

I came to natural soaps for a very specific reason--a husband whose eczema was virtually out of control. For years, we'd tried keeping him on soaps designed for sensitive skin. While this would generally calm flare-ups slightly, it wouldn't prevent them from creeping up again. Admittedly, since beginning to use Plantlife's soaps, my husband is NOT eczema free... The scents of Plantlife's soaps are remarkably pleasant too. I've yet to find one that is offensive to my nose--they're delicately done, not over-powering or too "perfume-y."

So if you're thinking of switching to herbal soaps to treat your skin to the best, most natural clean possible--try some Plantlife soaps. If you're simply looking for some aromatherapy or some way to mix-up your usual soap routine--try some Plantlife soaps. I'd be willing to bet that if you returned to "normal," store-bought soaps afterwards, you'd do so grudgingly and reluctantly!

This is a very moisturizing soap. Also, you can see the all natural ingredients including the strands of lemongrass. I highly recommend this soap as it's all natural. This may dry out your skin if you have dry skin, but, it's really good for acne.

Mistral Soap, Imperial Jasmine, 200 Grams

With the water in my area, I always have had a problem getting soap to lather. But not with this soap. It lathers easily even in cold water and rinses away cleanly leaving my hands squeaky clean. While the scent of the bar of soap is quite strong, the scent left on my hands is very light. All in all an excellent soap!

I ordered several bars of this soap because I read about it in a magazine. It smells great and the large bars last a long time. Definitely not like the cheap sets of soap we've all gotten for gifts. I plan on ordering more for myself, my daughters and daughter-in-law.

Nice, do not know what jasmine smells like but was told after the fact it can be cloying. this has a strong scent but is not overpowering.

Musgo Real Lime Glyce Soap

The other reviewer made a mistake here; this is not a shaving soap, it's a pre-shave soap; that is, you're meant to wash your face with it, then rinse, and THEN use a shaving cream or soap. This is not for lathering in a mug. What it DOES do is clean your face and prepare your beard so that your shaving cream or soap will be more effective; in this regard it is excellent, and you should try it; it lasts forever as well.

As noted in another review, this soap is NOT a shaving soap: it won't lather, for one thing. It is a PRE-shave soap: wash your beard with this, rinse, then lather up with a shaving soap or a shaving cream or---if you must---squirt some shaving foam out of a can (not recommended: it's too dry).

I've been using MR GLO (Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil soap) for several years, as the first step of my shave at the sink, after showering. Wash beard with MR GLO, rinse, and then work up a lather (NOT with MR GLO) and apply it to my wet beard: the first step toward a pleasurable shave.

I have always loved glycerin soaps for a clean feeling with just enough oils so that you don't feel dried out or greasy. This is one of the best. I use it before shaving with a straight razor to clean and prepare my skin and whiskers as well as to give my skin a little additional lubrication. It is by no means an oily soap or residue. I still use shave oil. I just notice that my shaves are a little nicer when I don't skip this step.

It smells nice, feels good, and contributes to a great shave. It is not very expensive and last a very long time. Musco Real is the real thing. I love it and even turned my daughter on to it for shaving her legs.

I use this as a face prep/cleanser for wetshaving. This is a glycerin soap, and the scent has a nice, fresh smell. Make a thin lather with a brush or face lather with the soap, and do a quick water splash to rinse it off before starting to lather with your favorite cream or shaving soap.

I bought this product thinking it was the one with white peach and a blend of silk blossom,but the one I received was white peach and orange blossom.There is a difference in the scent between the two.The one I regularly use is a lighter scent which does not bother my allergies and asthma.The one with the orange blossom is a stronger scent.Anyone buying this product thinking it is the lighter scented one beware because I found out that the manufacturer put the same bar code with the same numbers on both scents,so if you are wanting the one with a blend of silk blossom and think that is what you will get you will have to call to ask about it to order.No ones fault,but the manufacturers.

Yardley English Lavender Bar Soap, 2 Count

Yardley English Lavender French milled soap has a true lavender fragrance and makes a very nice lather. The bar lasts quite some time and it will last even longer if it is aged for a few months prior to use (although it will lose some of the smell) so I usually unwrap it and place it in my dresser drawers and linen closet where it gives a clean, delicate scent to the items stored there.

Not only is this a good quality soap, it is readily available and is much less expensive than soap of similar quality imported from Europe. The English Rose and and especially the Lemon Verbena scents are also quite nice but the lavender remains my favorite. If you have stuck with Ivory and have never used a French milled soap, give this a try. Highly recommended.

While the Sage soaps from Juniper Ridge are my favorite, the cedar varieties come in a very close second. The scent wasn't exactly what I expected, as I was imagining something more along the lines of fresh-cut cedar, but it has more of an earthy aroma, which actually seems a bit more authentic. Either way, this soap is fantastic, and I can't imagine going to back to using anything else now!

I never buy this product for myself and I can usually get it at Berkeley Bowl if it hasn't sold out. But it's so wonderful and I love the crispness of the scent along with that slight dirt smell that lingers. I can't use it because it's too masculine for me. However, I buy it for my friend and he's been hooked on it! And it's great to smell him whenever we hang out. Men should always smell this way!
