MediMix Soap 75 g

I have a case of acne caused by a hormone-causing tumor. In 6 years I have tried everything(Proactiv, Neutrogena, Clearasil, Clean & Clear, Cerave, Cetaphil and many more). Although these products are really good, they did not work for my situation. One day an Indian manager from the store I worked gave me one of her Medimix bars to try it. In the second wash my face started to heal. I used the entire bar but I did not know where to find it and she told me to go online. I am so satisfied with this soap that I ordered 6. To be honest, the first time I opened the box I thought that it would burn my face because the fragrance is strong but I decided to give it a try. I was trying anything by that point... I was desperate for help for my face. When I used it I did not feel any burning, in fact, it was pretty easy on my face, even in winter. For the first time in 6 years my face is clear. I use it whenever I need to wash my face and it has not dried my skin at all. After spending a lot of money and efforts on my face, I will always be thankful to the lady that made the approach and gave me the soap to try it. I am stuck with it ever since! I would recommend it even for people without any skin problems, as a matter of fact, the lady that gave it to me does not have any skin issues or acne and uses it as her regular face soap.

This soap worked wonders on my skin. It got rid of the oil and the acne. However, after using it for a while, my skin became resistant to it and it stopped working. My acne came back so I changed my skin care regimen. I use 4 different natural products, alternating between them every week so my skin never gets used to the routine. I now use this for one week per month before going to bed since it can be drying. I like this and think anyone with oily skin should at least try it.

I've been trying to find something to help my hormonal acne (caused by PCOS)for several years. Nothing has ever worked, and some things have made the problem much worse. I've used everything you can imagine for my skin. I usually have large pores dead cells and my skin has frekles so its very sensitive to parfum,alcohol etc. I tried this soap cause it was very cheap and I trust in Ayurveda history of knowledge.

The first time I used it it left my skin so clean,maybe a bit tight but definately not dry. I dont advice leave it on your skin for many seconds.Just warm your face with warm water so Medimix can work its way deep.Apply it and rinse it after 5-10 seconds with cold water.

My skin is so soft,I dont ahve any more dead cells around my nose or dry skin.It gets better the more you use it.It may seem a bit agresive the first times but stick to it.

I advice using a natural oil afterwards such as Argan or regular Ghee(clarified butter).Nothing can ebat this price for a natural and effective skin treatment

Aging Hippie Natural Patchouli, Olive & Cocoa Butter Soap - 6 oz

The soaps scent is very nice, not overbearing. Patchouli is such a peculiar flavor, that not everyone will like it. It is more of an earthy smell, or maybe you could say musky HMMMM.... just hard to describe. But those of us who love it are constantly trying to find it! I'm not a floral person because that type of scent gives me a headache and makes my husband sneeze. Oh yes, this soap has a nice lather to it too! The shipping from this company was lightning fast! And they put in three other soap samples... how nice was that?!

If you like Patchouli fragrance, you will love this soap. I get so many compliments about my perfume (when it's really the Patchouli soap I use). I would definately recommend buying. Also the bar of soap is much bigger than pictured and well worth the price.

This look lasting,fresh fragrance soap is an excellent product. I use on face and body. I use this and give this as gifts to introduce others to this shea butter product. Great price. Will use as long as product remains same quality.

Have been using this soap for years, and it a great value for the price as it lasts long! The color is lighter than it use to be, and the size is a bit smaller than when it 1st came out, but it doesn't matter as it's still a great soap. Am partial to the verbena fragrance, which is light and not over whelming. Lathers great and rinses clean. The shea butter doesn't dry out skin like most normal soaps containing high percentage of sodium laurel sulfate. Is a great product!

Raw African Black Soap from Ghana - 4 Oz

Very nice product. I've tried many different Black soaps from many different vendors on Amazon. I must say, this seller by far, has one of the best Black soaps on Amazon. Very nice packaging, in little convenient bars. No need to cut up a block or mold into a bar. Product works as it should. I will definitely be purchasing more soap from this seller in the future.

I am African American and I bought this soap to move away from all the chemicals in other soaps and I thought it would be good for my skin. To be honest I really wanted to like this soap, but I didn't see any difference in my skin or feel any difference--in fact I can almost say it made it (ever slight dryer). I left it on my wire rack inside the shower (I couldn't put it in soap container because it was too big--at first), I only had it for about a week and a half because the warm steam, water, etc. will cause the soap to melt away. Once it got smaller for me to put in a soap container, the next day I went to grab it and it was complete mush! I don't think it's worth it for the little amount of time it lasts.

Dr.Woods Products Almond Castile Soap

This is one of my very favorite cleaning products. I love it because 1) the ingredients are all healthy and natural, 2) it smells AMAZING like the greatest almondy cherry-ish smell, 3) it is SO versatile (hair, body wash, bubble bath (short-lived bubbles, but good for the kids bodies and no harmful chemicals), house cleaner, laundry detergent does it all naturally!) and 4) it is so much LESS expensive than Dr Bronners. Just remember good natural soap doesn't usually "bubble" like mainstream brands, as its usually unnatural chemicals that make that unnatural process happen.

Amazon shipping came through as expected. No boxes dripping half my purchase. The price I paid was great. I recieved a large amount (seems like more than a quart) of soap that will last for several projects. The soap itself seems very high quality, though I have to disclose that I've never used castille soap before. I would definitely recommend this product and supplier to anyone.

When you first open this bottle, you may find yourself very happy then suddenly sad when you remember it's for your skin and not for your tongue. Other than that, this robust scent is very unique and satisfying among other soaps. Like the other Woods soaps, the consistency is just right and is very manageable. For the price and in general, you will be hard-pressed to find anything better in terms of quality. If the scent isn't your cup of tea, you can use it to clean your floors, counter-tops, etc but remember to try out the other ones. Dispensers also work well with this. Just be careful pouring it into opaque containers because you can't hear it and may end up spilling over like I just did :P

I've been experimenting with various homemade cleaning product recipes and liquid castile soap seems to be a staple. I like the famous Dr. Bronner's stuff, but wasn't feeling up to paying for it. Dr. Woods, however, seems to provide as respectable a soap as one could ask for. While any real faults in any of my experiments are probably due to the recipe itself, this ingredient has reacted as expected and I got to say I've had some great results. When using this soap on its own, I've been impressed as well. The almond aroma is not overwhelming, but clean and natural. I've seen some reviews complaining this doesn't sud well, but I have no complaints there. It rinses completely as well with no surface residue. What causes me to most to recommend this soap is the price. I find this a great buy.

It is also moisturizing, for my skin anyway. I have dry skin also. And, while it does not suds a whole lot, it does enough for me. It is just not a real sudsy soap. this is a very good unscented soap. We use a lot of this and Dr. Bonner's Baby Mild-Unscented bar soap which I would also recommend. This soap feels nice on the

skin but not as creamy or lathering as dr. bonner's. If you want lots of lather in your shower experience then you would want dr. bonner's. We use this as our hand soap

since it seems to dissolve a bit more slowly than dr. bonner's.

Both soaps are very nice and unirritating and we use both.

Premier Dead Sea Mineral Mud Soap, 100-Grams

This product is amazing for acne. I my self have been using for a little over half a year. I actually paid about $30 for my first 3 bars. It was well worth it though. And I am happy that I was pulled aside in the mall by a lovely young lady that said this would help and I would be singing her praises. Well to this day I am :). Now I'm not sure it says it will hydrate your skin ( I never read package labels lol ) but it does sort of leave your skin a little dry however it exfoliates and cleans deep, that I know. Just don't over scrub! your face is sensitive! I also use this product along with scar zone to help combat the dryness and remove the old scars and not to mention scar zone provides SPF 15. I highly recommend trying this little routine instead of the OTC acne products that haven't worked for you. One last note, stick to it, things don't happen overnight. Also wash your face in the morning and at night with warm water and then splash it with cold water to close pores and try not to rub your face in a towel rather pat it dry. :) then add moisturizer :) hopefully I could help someone. One last last note find out what food triggers your breakouts and stay away from it or eat it in smaller portions. Mine was dairy i still drink/eat it but in very small amounts.

I've been using this soap for about a week and this is my opinion thus far (I will update later also):

The soap has an interesting, fresh and clean smell. It creates a large amount of "soapy suds" so you can see exactly where on your body you've gotten, instead of just guessing. My skin definitely feels very soft, and I haven't had any issues with over-drying. I'm still waiting to see if the soap really clears my skin up.

So far I feel like it's a good soap. Is it good enough to pay more than your typical moisturizing, nice scented, women's soap at your local store? Not sure yetbut I'll be sure to let you know when I do.

**UPDATE-2/11/12**

I bought the product because I wanted soft, clear skin. I got the soft part, but it definitely hasn't helped clear my skin up at all and my skin has been kinda dry as of late but then again the air is really dry and I occasionally tan my skin to try and clear it up... I like the soap. It's really "soapy" and smells nice and makes my skin very soft, however I'm not sure I would purchase it again, especially at this price... I guess I expected more from the product than I got.

I got this soap as a gift when i bought the nails care cit from barcelona., and i really liked it it makes my skin feel fresh and clean, and it actually makes my now and then pimples less bumpy and red from the first wash, and when i use it i rarely get new ones. so when my bar finished i got it from here.. the packaging was good but it took a while for it to arrive., other than that i like it thanx ;)

I am an avid user of dead sea salt products and while this soap is along those lines I find it to be extremely drying compared to other brands out there. The grit of the salt is also pretty fine, so if you are looking for a real exfoliation experience I would go with AHAVA or another brand as this will not get the job done for you.

The benefit to this soap is that it has cleared up a fair amount of redness that I usually have on my elbows and feet. However, I think there are products out there that can do the same for a smaller price.

Pre de Provence Lime Zest 8oz

It's a great refreshing lime soap which is very hard to find these days. From France, shea butter, smooth to use. It is very easy to recommend.

I used to work for a French soap manufacturer and knew the owners of Pre de Provence / European Brands. They make a high quality soap with quality shea butter soap base and perfumes from Grasse. These are super hard milled and last forever probably the best value for a French soap. Lime fragrance is really difficult to pull off. It is usually much too light for my tastes so I was excited when I smelled how strong this Lime Zest soap was. That was until I picked up the caustic cleanser note that lies just underneath the fresh lime. I don't think I would order this fragrance again, but that is ok. There are plenty of others to choose from.

Sebamed Face and Body Wash, 6.8 Fluid Ounce Bottle

If you have sensitive skin, Sebamed Liquid Face and Body Wash might be just what you are looking for. I have extremely sensitive skin and am allergic to everything, but Sebamed products have never caused me any problems.

This particular product lathers really well and has a pleasant smell, especially if you're used to using cleansers that smell like school glue, as most 'sensitive skin' products do.

A small amount of this on a bath poof creates luxurious lather and leaves your skin feeling smooth and lightly moisturized.

I don't think that Sebamed has a "medicine-y" smell, but like I said, I'm used to having to use products with no fragrance in them at all, so the little bit of fragrance in Sebamed made me really happy (and hasn't caused me any allergies).

It's a little bit expensive, but a little goes a long way, so you may find you'll use less Sebamed than you would other shower gel-type products.

I have been using Sebamed for years as I have sensitive skin (used to have to order it from Canada as it was not available for the US market). The body wash is wonderful! It does not dry your skin at all, is ph-balanced, and has a very mild, clean-smelling odor. A tiny bit goes a very long way.

It also does an amazing job of keeping your "private parts" clean and fresh-smelling through the day something about maintaining the proper acidity in that area keeping harmful bacteria from multiplying. Sebamed also makes a "feminine intimate wash" product that is even better at this, but have not seen it on amazon...the regular body wash is pretty darned good, though!

All-in-all, I can't recommend this product highly enough. This is a good size to try, but after that you will be ordering the larger bottle with the pump dispenser which is the one I get it lasts me and my daughters somthing in the neighborhood of a year.

does not irritate the eyes when it gets there, does not dry out the skin ... but also does not feel like much more than water with some gelatin

if you need something very gentle this will probably work. in fact the skin almost feels moisturized after you use it instead of being dried out. however i don't think its terribly effective as a cleanser ... but i don't need it to be. this is not something a mechanic would be able to wash his hands with.

Dove White Beauty Bar, 75 Gram (Pack of 36)

I'm familiar with Dove and had expected the relatively neutral scent I'm accustomed to. This batch is so strongly scented that I'm not sure we'll use it. I guess we'll leave that to our guests... but I'm not even sure of that. We may donate it to a local shelter for abused moms and kids.

This Item is not worth the purchase. The bars are mini size and heavily scented. I wouldn't buy it again.
