Monoi Bar Soap Gardenia 4.55 oz ( Multi-Pack)
It isn't fancy carved white soap. It's a plain brown with the word "Tahiti" molded in one side and "Tiki Tahiti" alongside a tiaré bud on the other side. The scent is not complex, just tiaré and the coconut oil in the soap. It lathers to a normal amount of suds and rinses clean, leaving a very light fragrance. It lasts as long as any bar soap I've used and a lot longer than glycerin or liquid soaps. I struggle with scent and skin allergies, but this soap doesn't give me a headache or a rash. It leaves the bathroom smelling like a Tahitian bungalow.
The only thing better than finding it on Amazon would be going to Tahiti to get more.
Trader Joe's Oatmeal & Honey Soap
-----
Ingredients: Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Water, Glycerin, Essence of Oatmeal, Oatmeal Flakes, Honey, Sodium Chloride, Pentasodium Pentetate.
-----
Each package contains two 4 oz. bars of soap and the current in-store price of $1.69/package makes these soaps an absolute steal. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to getting dry, rough, patchy, and flaky. I had always used body washes because the only soaps I'd ever really looked into were commercial soaps like Irish Spring, Dove, etc. and they all contained ingredients that would harm more than help my skin. I finally saw this in Trader Joe's and had to give it a try and the results have left me very satisfied.
The scent is that of oatmeal, honey, and a hint of cinnamon spice that makes it smell very warm and refreshing in the shower but it is also very light and it does not linger for too long. The bar also does not melt from heat alone so the only way this soap will dissolve is when you use it to clean yourself. It creates a very limited amount of lather (which is good, the more lather = the harsher the soap) and instead feels incredibly creamy. Also, if you look close enough you can see the shaved oatmeal flakes present throughout the soap these act as a gentle exfoliant.
Overall, this soap is excellent and seemingly fitting for all skin types and it has definitely made my skin feel smoother and moisturized with no more rough patches. An obvious added bonus is that this soap is cruelty free and not tested on animals. One last note: If you can get to a Trader Joe's to buy this soap, do it (and stock up), because buying here on Amazon is criminally expensive compared to how cheap it is in the store. This soap is decent. It smells very subtle and the bars are fairly small so they don't last very long. I'm a bigger fan of Sappo Hills oatmeal soap and it's probably easier to find + it's cheaper on Amazon. Save your $ and buy this from Trader Joes or get a different soap. It's not worth this price.

Hunter's Specialties Scent-A-Way Odorless Bar Soap
The soap is good, doesn't have a scent, which provides
me the odor control I need to get close and personal
with a whitetail. Can't say for sure it works but it
gives me more confidence.

Hunter's Scent-A-Way products are just simply the best! In the past, I've only used the liquid version of this product. The bar soap is inexpensive, and does a nice job of leaving your skin scent-free. I highly recommend ALL Hunter's Specialties products!Read Best Reviews of Hunter's Specialties Scent-A-Way Odorless Bar Soap Here

Crabtree & Evelyn Sandalwood Shave Soap in Wooden Bowl
When I'm done using it in the shower, I rinse off the bowl, pop on the top, and put it in the drawer by the sink. It's then ready to go for the next day. Sweet.
The price of the bowl and soap is reasonable, and refills of just the soap are about $8.00. That's not going to break the bank (and if you get it as a gift, it's even better). ;-)
In short, this is a good serviceable soap at a decent price. If you use an aftershave or cologne, this scent is mild enough not to interfere in any way.
If you prefer a stronger scent, I've tried the Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna and that scent seems to be more intense -though not overpowering. Both are fine products.Bought this for my husband, he loves the scent and plans to buy again. But buy this directly from Crabtree & Evelyn and pay $22 not $31. I should've looked to see their price first before buying it here. But that was my mistake and won't make that again.
Great shave soap though, you will not be dissapointed, great lather and lingering aroma!

Raw African Black soap & Shea Butter (Gold) Combo "8oz. OF EACH"
It is claimed that this soap is very healing and soothing. Well, it didn't do anything spectacular in the first place, and my skin also wasn't exactly thrilled with it, either. I wouldn't say exactly irritating, but I certainly knew it was on my skin. Ladies, you might want to be careful in washing certain areas, if you know what I mean. I eventually moved it to my sink and only used it to wash my hands. It also seemed to become softer the smaller it got. I really didn't want to throw that much soap out, so I melted down the remainder of the bar with some of my homemade soap to make a full bar again.
I personally wouldn't buy this soap again. Yeah, I make my own, and did just finish whipping up a big batch, but even so, I still wouldn't go for African Black Soap again. It lathers marvellously, but unfortunately, that's the only great thing about it.I was not pleased at all with the packaging that my items came in. The Shea butter and black soap were placed in baggies. Ok I get that it was only 8 ounces each but they could hve cut the soap into blocks on cut off one 8 oz piece. It looks like they just cut pieces all un even and shoved them in a bag with a home made lable and the soaps appears to be old and left out because there was a white film on some of the pieces and that only happens when you leave it out unwrapped. The shea butter also looks to be old and two different colors (why would you send this out like this?)!!! I can whip the shea butter with other butters I have no big deal BUT ---I am so disappointed and will not be ordering anymore EVER. Had I paid more that 20 bucks this would be going back but its not even worth going through sending it back.. NO ONE SHOULD BE SUBJECTED TO THIS...SMH AWFUL I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...LOL

I gotta say, I was skeptical. I first became interested in African black soap when I heard that it helps with dry, itchy skin. So, I began to do a little research. Little did I know, that was just the tip of the iceberg as far as the healthful benefits of this stuff. From everything I read about African Black Soap and how miraculous it is, I couldn't believe that I'd never heard of it before or that more people weren't using it (that I know). So, I bought a bar of the raw kind (no processing or preservatives), along with the unprocessed shea butter and I bought a bar of the processed...just so I could see the differences and make comparisons. It's only been four days, and I've only used the raw soap so far, but I can already see and feel a difference in my skin and especially in my face. It's smoother...almost 'glowy'. So, I'm hopeful that in the days and weeks to come, I'll begin to see even more changes, such as fewer breakouts, softer skin, etc. All the things that were promised in the reviews and blurbs that I read during my research. The ONLY complaint I have (hence the 4 star rating) is the smell. The raw soap and the raw shea butter smell just AWFUL! The only way I can think to describe it is that it's 'earthy'...and not in a good way. However, I will continue to use it as long as it appears to be working. The things we do for beauty, right? Seriously, though. FAIR WARNING: if you have a twitchy gag reflex, this is not the soap for you. Try the processed stuff. It smells much better.
