I recently discovered that there is like a whole line of Nivia products that arent sold in the the stores in the US and this soap is one Ive never seen. I love it! Great lather and rinses off squeeky clean without leaving you feeling dry.

American sweetgrass scented soap is hard to find. This soap has a strong scent. It is made with vegetable fats, not tallow, so what you smell is not contaminated with a meat odor. The price is right and so is the shipping. I hope I will be able to get more next year when we need it!

I bought a bar of Black & Tan Beer Soap on a whim I've bought other brands of beer soap before and they're either good or bad. One problem I've run into is beer soaps tend not to lather well. When I opened the Black & Tan Beer Soap the scent is nutty, warm and it also suds really well. I plan on buying more of this soap.

Ah, the smell of an old geezer in a derby.Love it.
It does have a subtle grandfatherish scent. But it's just unusual enough to make it interesting. Most other soaps smell harsh or overbearing in comparison.
As another reviewer stated, shipping can be half the cost in this lot size, so buy one bar to see if you like it. And if you do, then buy (much) larger lots. I've found the best way to save on shipping for consumables from Amazon is to buy large quantities of non-perishables and just use them up throughout the year.

I love this scent and also have their lotion and body wash.I am a huge bubble bath person -so maybe I did it wrong by not using the whole little packet, but I didn't get many bubbles. It doesn't matter because it smelled yummy :)

This soap is great for multiple conditions. Also makes for great exfoliation soap. Which is why I decided to go ahead and buy 12 bars. I have bought some bars similar as much as $20 a bar so this is a good deal. My fiance had very dry and itchy winter skin and not only were the ingredients beneficial in helping with the dryness but the smell was divinely soothing. It quickly became one of his favorite soaps. I have sensitive skin and had no problems using the soap, plus the ingredients are known to not only be safe for sensitive skin but to help relieve skin that is currently irritated by outside factors (i.e. beer helps with softening, oatmeal with calming, and shea with moisturizing and calming, etc.). The soap can be mildly exfoliating as there are oatmeal pieces and flecks within it, which both myself and fiance found to be lovely (it added more of a texture sensation than any noticeable exfoliation in my opinion). It's also a decent sized chunk which is nice. I would definitely recommend giving it a go.
