Avon Kids Bath Time Body Paints Soap Cotton Candy 1.7oz
As a kid looking through her mom's Avon magazine, these looked amazing. We got them in bubble gum, cotton candy, and green apple. They smelled kinda chemically if I remember right. I was so excited to paint all over myself, since at 5, I wasn't allowed to with real paint. :P haha. Its a big roller ball that I enjoyed playing with. The soap paint doesn't even show up on my skin tone, which is tan. You'd have to be a pasty white Wisconsin person to get this to show up (I can say that I live near Madison) plus the soap leaves that coated sticky residue feeling, you know. The feeling when you use cheap soap or the hotel soap? Yeah that one. Don't do it! I'm warning you. Unless you're a 5 year old living in 2002, nope
Musgo Real Orange Amber Glycerin Soap 5.8oz soap
THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRESHAVE SOAP -I get it this is not to be used as a shave soap it is what you use to clean your face prior to shaving. What this soap does is clean your face and skin so much that it is squeaky clean and rough to the touch not smooth. This is not good if you then want to shave as your shave cream will not be as effective. Your natural oil in your skin is actually good when shaving. So by wiping it away you will have a rough shave even with a good cream or shave soap. The smell.....I love old school scents but this reminds me of that soap they would have in the rest rooms of restaurants and amusement parks growing up. Not to date my self, 42, but the smell is nothing pleasant. Orange hints? Yeah sure Maybe, but mostly this reminds me of the cheap hand soap common to the late 70's and 80's that you would find a public places this was before the 'foam' soaps that you see around today. Also, it does say that there is some alcohol in this product to clean dirt away from skin this is not good for facial skin:
"This glycerin soap contains lime oil to refresh the face, castor oil to soak and soften the whiskers and a trace of alcohol to remove the dirt which restricts razor glide."

This soap is one of the few that doesn't dry my skin too much. It smells good, it's not too expensive, but not dirt cheap, either. Can't find this in stores where I live, I'm glad I found it online.Save 53% Off

I can smell the cloves, and I can smell the mint. The combination really works. My shower is enjoyable with this wonderful soap. It makes a nice creamy lather. I use it on my face, too. My skin feels really good.

This isn't a wonder soap honestly. It just smells very good. However, it just reminds me of a lot of products out there already--like the bars of soap that are at whole foods or mom and pop shops. I do like this line of products and I'm thinking of getting the body oil in this scent because it really is subtle and nice. It is kind to your skin BUT when used it smells different. It's like the lavender is lost when the soap is used and it doesn't necessarily smell like cardamom when used either--even though those are the dominant scents when unused. Because of the sent change I have to knock this soap since I've had many that keep the scent on your skin. I will say though, I do not have any soapy feeling left on my skin which is very nice and it doesn't lather up a ton which is a good thing.

I've been looking for something to help with my preteens daughter's problem skin. It's been an ongoing problem. I found this at our local International Market and it was pretty cheap! Like $1.50 a bar! She been using this for over a month now and it's helped a lot!
Life-Flo Detox Soap
To be honest, it's a little disconcerting at first to use this soap because the water streaming off of you is black, but I haven't had any problem with staining and I love the soap! It is so moisturizing, and my skin feels very clean and refreshed after I use it. There is a light scent to the soap, but it doesn't linger after you're done with it.

The claim that this soap "cleanses and detoxifies your entire body" is bogus and probably not completely legal. It may help wash away toxins from the outer layer of skin, but so will any soap out there.Next statement :"If you were to look at active charcoal under a magnifier, you would see tiny, super sponges that effectively soak up virtually all impurities that pass through it."
So what? Activated (not active, is this even the real thing?) charcoal absorbs toxins from the body when taken internally. If you were to look at this charcoal under a microscope you would also see the "tiny, super sponges" clogged with soap, impeding absorption. Why would I care if the charcoal absorbs anything on my external skin layer when it's being rinsed off my skin and going down the drain anyway? (which is going to happen when I use any soap, with or without charcoal.)
"Zinc, a natural antibacterial, soothes, aids healing, and can reduce inflammation."
Yes, but in the quantities that is in this bar of soap? Also, it reduces inflammation when taken internally. Are you suggesting we eat your soap so we get the charcoal and zinc benefits?
"This bar soap is completely biodegrable and convenient for camping or traveling."
Got it, it dissolves in water and is small.

The Claus Porto soaps have unique, lasting fragrances. The bars are huge and make luxurious suds. They outlast several bars of soap of regular size.
