Mrs Meyers Clean Day Soap Bar, 8 Ounce
FYI, this is for 1 bar of Meyer's Basil Bar Soap, not 12. When I bought it the description was "Meyers Basil Bar Soap (12x8 OZ)" which led me to believe there were 12, 8oz bars. ("12x8 oz" sounds like twelve eight ounce bars, right?) The product description also listed the weight as 8lbs, which makes sense if there were 12 bars (12 * 8oz = 6lbs. I know, 6 isn't 8, but maybe the box was the other 2lbs?). But don't be fooled. This is for a single bar. Mine was $10, for one bar. You should check around, I guarantee you'll find it cheaper elsewhere.

I just received it today, and a long search is over. Long since the '60s, the last time I had some I. Magnin house-brand Rose Geranium soap. Since then, I have ordered geranium soap from the Santa Cruz mountains, from Cyprus (!), and other places I have forgotten.And finally, here it is. Huge white bar, lathers wonderfully, rinses clean, smooth skin and clean hair. And, finally, the good strong scent of geranium fills my shower. How pleasant to find this soap, after many years of looking.
Expensive; I think there are cheaper sites where it might be available. But that's for later. Right now, very pleased indeed.

This aroma is amazing. It's a great scent to have in the kitchen as it cuts through any cooking odors, like onions or garlic, and replaces them with the amazing scent of lemon verbena. This bar of soap lasts a LONG time.
Yardley of London English Lavender Luxury Soap for Men, 3.5 Ounce
Yardley English Lavender French milled soap has a true lavender fragrance and makes a very nice lather. The bar lasts quite some time and it will last even longer if it is aged for a few months prior to use (although it will lose some of the smell) so I usually unwrap it and place it in my dresser drawers and linen closet where it gives a clean, delicate scent to the items stored there.Not only is this a good quality soap, it is readily available and is much less expensive than soap of similar quality imported from Europe. The English Rose and and especially the Lemon Verbena scents are also quite nice but the lavender remains my favorite. If you have stuck with Ivory and have never used a French milled soap, give this a try. Highly recommended.

I love this lilac bar of soap, as it smells just like lilac from growing wild. Its sudsy also and does leave my skin moist & silky. Only one bad thing when its laid in the soap dish, it really sticks down hard to the dish, it pulls up hard, or did for me at least, as after showering i laid in in the soap holder build into the shower tub wall. And it is expensive, but if you are a lilac fragrance lover as I am I dont mind a few dollars more. But if it was cheaper I would buy more, but I use this bar sparingly.
