I bought a couple of bars of Dial Cranberry glycerin soap quite a while ago somewhere, and have had it in my guest bathroom for well over a year, and every time I go in there, I'm pleasantly surprised that the lovely scent permeates the bathroom (and even the adjoining hall. I used the other bar in the master shower, and I love the fresh scent it leaves on my body. Since its glycerine soap, it also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I can't find it at my local grocery or pharmacy, so I bought 6 additional bars from Amazon, not to use in the bath, but to tuck away in my closets and drawers, because I LOVE the scent so much. I even put one in my car, and you wouldn't believe how lovely it smells in there! I've been using Dial soap for as long as I can remember. Once I starting buying my own soap, Dial was still the soap of preference. In the past few years Dial has been honing in on 21st century sensibilities and has introduced a variety of scented soaps that cater to those of us who like scent. By far, this is my favorite scented soap. The smell is great. I liken the fresh cranberry scent to a cranberry cooler on steroids. The smell lingers well beyond bath time. It is glycerine based and cleanses well without a soapy residue and does not leave a lot of soap scum. It also leaves my skin soft.While it is touted as an 'antioxident' soap which I assume is a lot of hype, the reality for me is that this is a really nice bath soap that does not disolve too quickly, cleans well, and makes me smell really nice.
Pre de Provence Soap, Pomegranate , 8.8 -Ounce Cello Wrap
This pomegranate soap, by Pre de Provence, has a scent that lingers like a breath of fresh fruity air. It rinses clean and lasts quite a long time. It doesn't dissolve easily either. It is a huge bar with a deep rich color and a little bit of weight to it. It comes wrapped in a see-through wrapper, nothing fancy, the empahsis is surely on the soap here, which is as it should be. I've ordered it several times for family members and my best friend and they are each pleasantly taken by it's sheer size, deep rich color and intense, exotic pomegranate smell. One side of the soap is imprinted with the words 'Pre De Provence' and on the other side, 'Pomegrante Soap' 'Made in France'. It is a rich looking soap and I am so glad that I was able to find it online at Amazon.

I bought 2 bars of this pomegranate soap, the oatmeal and the goat's milk soap. I LOVE THIS STUFF! It creates a rich, creamy lather and smells HEAVENLY & SPA LIKE. The bars last a really long time, too. The soap leaves no residue & is actually good for the skin, as it does not remove the protective layer like harsher soaps do & leaves your skin soft. You will certainly be loading up on the many other scents that are available when you try just ONE of these! Don't get me wrong, these Pre de Provence bars are awesome! But after using several bars of the green Linden-scented variety, the Pomegranate doesn't measure up smell-wise. There's a nice fruity smell coming from this gi-normous bar...but it just doesn't compare to the crisp, clean, lightly flowery scent of the Linden bar. Personal preference, I think. This is a very smooth, luxurious soap that smells lightly of pomegranate, which is slightly different than the other Provence soaps that are more herb-y or flower-y. It does not smell like bubble gum, as a previous reviewer stated. Hey I understand what you are saying about no lathering but that is what SULFATE FREE soaps do or do not do. The point is sulfate free is better for your skin (AND HAIR) as the sulfates are what dry the skin out....washing out your natural oils etc. In Europe most soaps are sulfate free, its only we crazy Americans that think clean means suddsy lather all over the place.

This is my favorite soap. I used to get little red bumps on my skin from my body wash and the I bought this and my skin is completely clear. Mistral Shea Butter Soap, 7-Ounce Bar
I love Mistral soaps, but I typically use them as sachets, not soap. I've had a bar of Tuberose soap in with our sheets for two years (one bar for that entire time), and every time I pull out a clean set of sheets they are wonderfully scented with rose. The orange/green fig soap is in with our towels and I love that as well. Gardenia is one of my favorite scents, but I like that one most as a personal soap or in their shea butter hand cream. So many soaps and creams have a weird chemical smell or are sickeningly sweet; these Mistral scents smell like real flowers and fruits.

I'm an admitted soap snob so I've probably tried just about every soap there is. Mistral soap is right up there with the best.First of all I have to mention the customer service. I had bought another brand of soap that came in a very pleasing scent combo that Mistral didn't offer. I emailed Mistral's customer service asking them to consider making it. I got a reply right away and after a few email exchanges was told they would see what could be done. I like that--being responsive to the customer.
What do I like about the soap? For one thing, the size. It's huge at 7 oz. I also like the scents offered: Very pleasing combinations that stay on the skin in a subtle way once you rinse and dry. Best of all is how it lathers up on the skin and once rinsed off leaves no residue. It does leave the skin soft.

I received a bar of Mistral Lychee Rose for a birthday gift. I have since bought several bars and utilize it almost daily. Normally, I mix between gels, bars, etc... for a different shower experience. No more! I found the Mistral bars to be long lasting, don't split or crack and carry the same strength of fragrance to the last sliver. Mistral orange blossom and green fig shea butter soap is the most wonderful fragrance and a harder one to find in shops that stock the soap line. That is what led me to Amazon. Usually I buy soley flower frgrances but this wonderfully rich non drying soap leaves a wonderful clean floral non cloying fragrance on my skin and in the bathroom that both women and men would like. The bar also lasts along time.

This is great for washing your hair and being chemical free providing you don't have 50 million products sitting on top of your hair when it's time for a wash. But, if you're sensible and use just enough oil or whatever you use to keep hair moist this will clean your hair without using harsh detergents such as reg. shampoo. DON'T TOUCH THAT DIAL! (unless you like slipping in the shower!)Dial (owned by Henkel, Germany) recently added a new scooped out bottom shape to their bath size bars, which reduces the ounces of the bar, so it doesn't last as long. It was formerly nearly flat on bottom. There is no reason for this scoop except to reduce longevity of the bar while appearing to be the same size as before. Problem is the scoop causes a HAZARD. The bars now WILL NOT STAY IN THE SOAP DISH. The bars continually fall under foot. I picked up the bar 2 or 3 times every shower. It gets under my feet. I am seriously worried about a SLIP AND FALL!
Deciding to cheat us by cutting a large chunk out of the bar is one thing, but to create also create safety hazard that could really hurt someone is beyond stupid. I am waiting for someone to really get hurt and SUE THEM. The bar is out of balance on soap dishes. If you have that smaller piece left over from before, you'll never get the bar to stay put. It is under foot every time.
DIAL'S GREED MODIFICATIONS ARE GOING TO HURT SOMEONE!!!!!! I have about slipped several times.
I am so amazed that the current keepers of a formerly great brand could be so recklesss in their quest to cheat us that have tainted a 30 year great brand. The Dial brand managers have redesigned all products to not last, and no longer be good value. You added DANGEROUS to their list of product enhancements. Good job Dial Brand management!

A La Maison Bar Soap Rosemary Mint
I've used a lot of different soaps because my husband & I have eczema. One a soap manufacturer changes even the smallest ingredient, we have issues. This was a gamble when I saw it in Whole Foods-but the ingredients were minimal & natural. I do NOT regret buying this soap. It is one of the best I've used. It's not marketed as a soap that clears skin problems-but it does, from acne to eczema. It's soothing and doesn't dry like other soaps. The darker colored soaps-like this one and the lavender-are colored by adding french clay: another level of cleansing and soothing for the skin. I'm eager to try their other varieties. The only complaint, if I have one, is that the bar is massive. Do NOT drop it on your foot in the shower or you'll be hurting.

A La Maison Bar Soap Oat Milk
A La Maison's solid Oat Milk bar soap is perfect for anyone looking for an all natural soap to both cleanse and nourish the skin. This soap contains a number of excellent moisturizing ingredients for dry and sensitive skin such as shea butter, argan oil, oat milk, and vegetable glycerin. It is a pure vegetable-based soap and is french milled to make a smooth and lasting bar.This soap makes an adequate lather, but feels very creamy and smooth to the touch and on the skin. The fragrance is natural and is somewhat sweet, but subtle, and incredibly refreshing and pleasant in the shower. It lingers shortly after bathing but not for incredibly long. An obvious bonus is that this brand is also cruelty free.
I'm very satisfied with the performance of this soap. It is very soothing in and after the shower and my dry, sensitive skin is no longer irritated with redness or dry patches. I would highly recommend this soap for anyone looking for a gentle, moisturizing bar soap. The only negative some may find is that the size of the soap (8.8 oz) can be a bit too big for some and can cause some difficulty with handling. I have bear paws so the large size is perfect for my hands. For those with smaller hands, this same variety of soap also comes in value 4-packs of smaller 3.5 oz bars. I bought this soap at Whole Foods, which carries a number of varieties of A La Maison bar soaps.

Ocean French Bar Soap
I know, it's SOAP for goodness' sake. But still. It has a nice scent, but it doesn't stay on your skin, so you can work around other people and not make them sneeze. It rinses well, and it does NOT irritate my skin at all (nearly everything else does). This is expensive for soap, but a bar will last you quite a while, mine go about 30 days in the shower, daily wash. Very dense. Fit your hand well, so they don't go squirting out of your hand, but not tiny. Well worth the price for the length of time they last and they do not irritate my skin into a rash.

I ordered this soap in hopes that it would smell like coconut and/or vanilla. Unfortunately, it does not. While it has a pleasant smell to it, it in no way resembles coconut or vanilla, which disappoints me a bit. Admittedly, the soap washes away cleanly, leaving no residue or filmy feeling on the skin. After a week of regular use, I do not notice any change in the smoothness of my skin, nor did I notice that my skin seemed any more moisturized than it did with the use of my regular soap.All in all, it has a nice clean smell and washes away very cleanly, but I will not make this purchase again. For the price of this one bar, I can buy a six-pack of vanilla scented soap at my local department store that yields the same results and actually smells like vanilla.

I received a free sample of this soap when I ordered essentials oils from this company, I thought, ok it looks like a hotel soap.....then I tried it. One of the best soaps I have ever used. This soap has very luxurious and creamy lather which holds true to the scent of Coconut and Vanilla. It leaves your skin feeling very smooth and doesn't dry it out! Love it!
