I was expecting a more creamier/ moisturizing soap.....this just didn't do it for me. It smells really good but just wasn't impressed overall. Dove has alot of great moisturizing soaps...can't think of the name of the soap I like by Dove but it's the blue bar of soap...that one leaves you feeling clean and moisturized. It was just ' ok'We really do love this product and have for many years. This is the one that we like the best as the other ones are not as kind to our skin but we can not find it in the stores any more so are really delighted to find it once again. Jeff's Best Hemp! Exfoliating and Detoxifying Soap!
As the title suggests, this product is wonderful. I have been looking for a Hemp soap for a long time and have tried a decent amount of them. This one in my opinion is the best. It's a perfect balance, cleans and exfoliates well, and the smell is very earthy hemp.Because it comes from a small shop, it is possible you will run into delays. Half of the time I order, it will come in a few days. Other times there could be computer outages or just having the information wrong. The longest delay I had was a month.
Overall it's a fantastic soap, and I expect if the sales continue to go up as they seem to have been, more staff will take care of the shipping issues.

I love this stuff. I use it as a shampoo, and I don't even have to use conditioner anymore. It gives my hair more body, and I like that I can use one bar of soap for my hair and my body. It saves me a lot of money, and lasts a really long time. The smell is pretty goodm but not overpowering. I've been reading that commercial shampoos have a lot of nasty ingredients in them, so I feel a lot safer putting this stuff on my body. I've also heard that castille soaps like this are great for backpacking, and I'm looking forward to replacing my nasty camp soap with this stuff!

I don't like the bar soap nearly as much as the liquid. And, the lavender scent was, well, nauseating -may be just me. Anyway, I'm going to try the peppermint bar just to be sure. Dove Men + Care Body and Face Bar, Deep Clean, 4 Bar
I just tried out this product, and I absolutely love it. I love it so much that I am actually writing a review on it.The scent is manly without being overbearing. The bars have a slightly gritty texture that helps remove dead skin. It feels great on the face without leaving it dry. Leaves my skin very smooth (as advertised). I will never again look at a bottle of axe.
First of all, the one thing I don't really like about this bar is the scent. It is citrusy, a heavy accord of lemony-grapefruit really wafts through the bar but when you are actually in the shower and you're cleaning yourself with the bar the scent is uplifting and actually smells nice. The bar gives off a rich, creamy lather that immediately starts to soften and moisturize your skin, and wih repaated uses, and I mean EVERY DAY FOR AT LEAST A MONTH, YOUR SKIN WILL BE BABY-BUTT SOFT. I bough5 an 8-pack of these bars at Wal-Mart because it is a personal policy of mine to never buy a product BLINDLY that I have never tried before at a price that I consider expensive, but when I went home and used it for the first time I was hooked and now this is my go-to, everyday cleansing bar. I tend to spend a lot of money on quality grooming products and I have spent lots and lots of money on superior bars, which have more moisturizers and indeed are better than this one but for the price ad value involved you cannot go wrong with this bar. Dove consistently manufactures quality bath products, I particuarly like their White? Pink Nutrium bars from a few years ago, and now that they're getting into Men' care thier first foray into this growing market is a good attempt which I hope will be successful for them. Apart from the heavy grapefruit smell, I give the bar 4 stars for the moisturizing properties, how your skin feels after you dry yourself off,and how clean you are and how pleasant you smell after you use this bAR. It is a good buy, go out and try it.

This is a very good soap and cleanse excellent. It's really big unlike some other brands and it leaves you feeling just really clean; especially with the micro-beads.However, I have no idea what the people saying "it has a nice scent" or "it's too strong" or "it's too strong" are talking about. I love a good bar of soap in the shower. Grandpa's Patchouli soap delivers on one level and disappoints on another. For lather and scent, it gets five stars. Unfortunately one round of use demonstrates how far one bar will go, and that's not very far. Made up mostly of coconut and palm oil, with aloe vera gel almost at the bottom of the list (beat out only by essence of patchouli), even short showers and conservative use will eat it up pretty quickly. Great soap as far as it goes, but I'd prefer a bigger bar or, more to the point, a recipe that doesn't dissolve quite so easily.

The soaps completely fall apart when you take them out of the box, like a dead rose: they flop open and the petals fall off. They are supposed to be scented, and they are, but you can only smell them if you stick you nose right into them. I bought this hand soap hoping it would be less drying on my hands. I wash my hands often. It didn't seem to be at all moisturizing. Doesn't lather much. Seems like it works best if you squirt it on your hands when they are dry and rub your hands together before rinsing with water. The scent is strong and not to my liking.

These soaps are amazing, I've bought about 6 different kinds. The smells are wonderful, the lather up is good, they don't melt away, the smell of the soaps are not overpowering so you can wear perfume, if you want to. The soap does not dry out your skin. Grandpa's Brands Company Pine Tar Soap
I am very pleased with this soap. I used it many years ago, as a teenager and it seemed to reduce acne. Now, as a middle-aged very fair skinned person I have started using it again to clean and moisturize in one step, and it seems to reduce some skin problems I have.(Even the dermatologist noticed.) As a guy I really don't like scented soaps but this one smells fine to me, and the mosquitoes don't seem to like it much (jes fine by me!).

I first began using Pine Tar soap as a medic in Vietnam to treat all kinds of skin conditions. It just seemed to work like magic on everything from rashes to eczemas to itchy scalp.Then, it seemed to disappear from the shelves and I thought they had stopped making it. However, every now and then I would find an old drugstore somewhere that carried a few bars and I bought whatever they had. Now I see that Amazon carries it and at a great price too.
If you suffer from any kind of skin condition, you should try one bar. Some people complain about the smell but personally I like the smell. It has a woody odor and even that disappears within an hour.
