I saw this soap in Rotorua in 2000... and wished I'd bought some... Now I'm glad that I finally did :) The smell of it brings back the memories of my trip to New Zealand, and the other-worldly town of Rotorua... (the whole place smells of sulphur... the ground is warm to the touch...) Plus it... helps clean my hands... which is exactly what you want from a bar of soap, IMHO.
The shampoo bar lathered very well, my hair feels clean. I guess this bar must be super-fatted, because it leaves my hair very nicely 'moisturized.' I did not need to condition my hair after using this shampoo bar. It does not really smell like anything after you rinse, while lathered it smells mildly like herbs.

These are my favorite soaps. They are gentle enough to be used on the face and small enough to put into a travel soap container. The scents are very subtle I was concerned that the peppermint might be too strong, as it can be an overpowering scent, but it doesn't linger heavily on the body. The scents are very gender neutral and don't scream stereotypically masculine or feminine, nor are they trendy, so they're appropriate to put in the bathroom for use by anyone.

A letter broke as I opened the package and they all seemed a little sticky. Some of the letters were good quality like the M, but strangely the W, which you think would be the same, was really much thinner. The colors are great. The container is flimsy and fell apart right away. The smell is nice but not overpowering. I do not recommend though, especially at this price, although at six bucks or so, might be worthwhile.
Palmolive bath soap is the only major brand to which I do not have an allergic reaction. It is not oily or over-perfumed. I regret that retailers in my market no longer carry it. I will continue to purchase it from Amazon.com so long as it remains available. If it is ever discontinued by Colgate-Palmolive, I guess I;ll just have to stop bathing.

My mother loves the way the soap smell and cleans.
I've been using this soap for over a year for the super-sensitive skin on my face and it's been a dream come true. My son's skin is so sensitive, water was burning it, and this soap solved the problem immediately. In all my searching, I have not found another soap with so few ingredients. Compare its 70% shea butter to the percentage in other soaps and I think you'll be surprised.
This product is amazing for acne. I my self have been using for a little over half a year. I actually paid about $30 for my first 3 bars. It was well worth it though. And I am happy that I was pulled aside in the mall by a lovely young lady that said this would help and I would be singing her praises. Well to this day I am :). Now I'm not sure it says it will hydrate your skin ( I never read package labels lol ) but it does sort of leave your skin a little dry however it exfoliates and cleans deep, that I know. Just don't over scrub! your face is sensitive! I also use this product along with scar zone to help combat the dryness and remove the old scars and not to mention scar zone provides SPF 15. I highly recommend trying this little routine instead of the OTC acne products that haven't worked for you. One last note, stick to it, things don't happen overnight. Also wash your face in the morning and at night with warm water and then splash it with cold water to close pores and try not to rub your face in a towel rather pat it dry. :) then add moisturizer :) hopefully I could help someone. One last last note find out what food triggers your breakouts and stay away from it or eat it in smaller portions. Mine was dairy i still drink/eat it but in very small amounts.

I am an avid user of dead sea salt products and while this soap is along those lines I find it to be extremely drying compared to other brands out there. Coming across this item while unpacking the groceries my wife picked up, I was torn. On the surface, E-Z grip soap sounded like a good idea, but at the same time it was just one more thing for my twin daughters to fight over in the tub. Nothing more than small bars of watermelon-scented soap sewn inside thin mesh pouches, they are slightly easier to handle than conventional bars of soap, but not much. Once they're sudsed up, you still encounter a certain amount of soap slime, but they don't slide around like a normal soap bar when you set them down, for instance, on the edge of the tub or in a soap dish. For some strange reason, the suds generated from E-Z grip soap don't seem to go as far as those from conventional soap, so be prepared to rub these things between your hands several times during the course of the bathing experience. Let's face it the folks at Johnson's make the care and handling of kids a heck of a lot easier, but something here needs to be tweaked.
...someone described it as cleaning "squeaky clean". heck yes. It cleans my face so clean that it feels so tight and dry afterwards. Although a lot of ppl do not like a drying effect like that...I kinda appreciate it since I normally have really oily skin. When I wash my face with it in the morning, I moisturize with 100% pure African shea butter, but at night I don't since I wake up witch my face oil anyway. I think it helped a bit with my under the skin pimples; not significantly, but a little. I have been using this product for almost 2 weeks.

I've used this soap for 20 years! It is truly a head to soap. You can wash your hair, wash your face to keep blemishes away, shave, and wash the rest of your body. It can be strong so dont leave it on your face for any length of time. It is also a very soft soap so make sure you get a well ventilated, well draining soap dish. I have had issues with acne on my face, chest and back for 17 years. I have tried everything. Some things would work but not for long. I tried Proactive for 2 years and it cleared face for a few weeks and than the acne would always come back. It also made my skin look and feel like snake skin. I threw the Proactive away and went to an African Store and got some Dudu-Osun Black Soap. It looked funny so I did a little research on it and found it to be all natural. I've been using this soap for 4 weeks and my back and chest are clear. My face is getting alot better. I also use the 100% African Shae butter for the drying. I love this soap. I don't think I will use anything else on my face and body. I have to say I wash my body with my regular soap (Dove, Dial, etc.) than I use this soap after wards.
