I bought a couple of bars of Dial Cranberry glycerin soap quite a while ago somewhere, and have had it in my guest bathroom for well over a year, and every time I go in there, I'm pleasantly surprised that the lovely scent permeates the bathroom (and even the adjoining hall. I used the other bar in the master shower, and I love the fresh scent it leaves on my body. Since its glycerine soap, it also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I can't find it at my local grocery or pharmacy, so I bought 6 additional bars from Amazon, not to use in the bath, but to tuck away in my closets and drawers, because I LOVE the scent so much. I even put one in my car, and you wouldn't believe how lovely it smells in there! So whether you want a nice scented soap to use in the bath, or you need a nice, long-lasting, inexpensive "sachet", this is a great purchase.

I've been using Dial soap for as long as I can remember. Once I starting buying my own soap, Dial was still the soap of preference. In the past few years Dial has been honing in on 21st century sensibilities and has introduced a variety of scented soaps that cater to those of us who like scent. By far, this is my favorite scented soap. The smell is great. I liken the fresh cranberry scent to a cranberry cooler on steroids. The smell lingers well beyond bath time. It is glycerine based and cleanses well without a soapy residue and does not leave a lot of soap scum. It also leaves my skin soft.
This is simply a delightful product. Quite whimsical and fun to look at, and I anticipate, to use. The scent is nice, not too strong. This makes a great gift for any cat lover. The color scheme is tasteful and will look good in many a bathroom.
These soaps are very pretty and carved, and look just the way I wanted them to. However, they are so overly perfumed and so strong smelling they give me a headache and make me almost sick. They seem like they are artificially scented, since most natural scents don't cause headaches. i really regret buying them and doubt I can use them.
I first purchased this soap at a gift shop while on vacation. I loved it so much, and I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. This is the signature milk soap used at spa in Italy. The scent is light and fresh. It produces a thick, rich lather, and lasts much longer than a typical American bar soap. My husband loves this soap as well the scent is neutral and he loves the lather. I have continued to order this soap and have found the quality to be reliable. The vendor on Amazon Touch of Europe is also very reliable and packages everything very carefully.
The soap is OK but it is no longer the carbolic (acid) one of the past with the special smell. The new smell was therefore disappointing.
My mother used Yardley products. They were considered very posh in the early 50s. Although this may not smell exactly like a bunch of fresh violets, it brings back so many memories. I used the bars of soap to scent my dresser drawers and linen closet. As a plus, the soap lasts a long time in the bath because it is not cheaply milled

As a longtime fan of violet soaps, I thought I'd try this product. England, after all, grows sweet violets, whereas ours have virtually no scent. Was I disappointed! I wish I could rate a product as "Zero Stars", but one is the fewest I can post. This soap smells like a junior chemist's attempt at recreating a scent never encountered, as a Recycling 101 assignment involving synthetic fragrances used in tire-manufacturing. Worse yet, the stuff was ultra-potent: it reeked to high Heaven! It was literally so bad that I put it in the trunk of my car to drive to the Post Office -and even so, people who drove with me in the next few days asked about "that funny smell". Cross my heart... I suggest readers try a violet/hybrid blend like 1902, which is French, or another scent by one of the French or Italian firms. I'd recommend Roger & Gallet, which makes a fabulously-scented, silky-lathering carnation soap, but they've never produced a violet, or at least, haven't in recent decades. To commiserate with my fellow reviewer of yet another "not violet" soap: I, too, miss Verly's, now that the factory has ceased production. I've also longed, on and off, for soaps by that ever-luxurious and, presumably, likewise-extinct brand, Parfumerie Monpelasse. (Pardon any spelling blunder, s'il vous plait, but the muguet des bois was to die for.) In short, if you ask me, the EU's chief consequence is "P-U!"
Effective soap which moisturizes and at the same time exfoliates. They use natural and quality ingredients in this soap which you can see in every inch of the bar and it's anybody guess that it is well worth six dollars.Has a pleasant scent but not a heavily perfumed by any means which might disppoint a few but regardless try this soap and also every other product from Melvita. Surprised why the French Melvita products are not getting a lot of reviews. I buy that soap and also I have emu oil lotion which is "Emu oil" moisturising cream product made from Australia.. First, use soap to wash face and dry face then apply that cream. It sure help a bonus. Both work well on any type of skin. It makes my skin feel very soft and clear of redness, rashes and overworked skin.

Mysore soap is almost always good, but when I purchased this product, I thought I was purchasing exactly what is pictured here--the cream sandalwood classic. What we received instead was the glycerin version, which has a much more sour scent and doesn't last nearly as long as the pictured soap. Not happy with what I got at all and feel a little as if I've been the victim of a minor bait-and-switch. I wish I could find THIS soap and not the much more disappointing glycerin version that we received.
