I am pretty much NOT allergic to anything, and this soap made me break out with a horrible rash after a few uses. I've NEVER had this experience with a bar soap before, so I'm not sure what is with this soap, but I would not use it. There's obviously something in it that is irritating to the skin. It's not all pure!!

I'm disappointed that a product advertised as containing "100% organically grown aloe vera" also contains the chemical EDTA. A consumer may want to research this first before purchasing.It's too bad because the soap seems exceptionally mild & gentle on the skin, but I purchased it thinking it was an all-natural product.

Great product! I use it on my face only. The bar is solid white, no chemicals. I leave the product on for about thirty minutes, then I rise it off. My face feels light and weightless. The smell is barely noticeable, but the visual results leaves my face clear and clean looking.

Shower Shock Caffeinated Soap

Well nothing funny to say like eating the soap or drinking it... because I know better. The soap works great, it isn't a OMG I can feel the difference type thing its more subtle like making you more alert in the morning. Now this will be something only used in the morning or when you are in need of a slight pick up because it will keep you awake for a little while if you are going to sleep so don't replace all of your soap with this. Highly recommend this to people that want a extra boost in the morning to wake up, with out using a having to use a huge cup of coffee or a ton of caffeinated/energy drinks. Now the human body can deal with up to 400mg's of caffeine after that it make you jittery, anxious, hard to focus, and so on. This only has 200mg's in it in a 4ounce bar. That is hardly enough to get near the 400mg OD range but enough to give the brain a nice kick start.

This really is a great way to wake up in the morning, especially since I'm so dependent on coffee to jump start my day. Since I was looking at doing an Amazon order for another item, I bought this soap through there instead of Think Geek, which actually had a 3 bar pack for a better price. I unfortunately assumed what I was ordering from Amazon was also a 3 pack because of the cost, and was very disappointed when I received only 1 bar. I chalked it up to my mistake for not paying better attention. In future I'll order it from Thinkgeek.com

Duru Hand Made Olive Oil Soap, 4 Count

I came across to this brand at my local store. It comes in package of 5. I am using it for the body and once a month for the hair. It is a little bit too heavy for my hair type for everyday day use. For the hair, I use it more as a hair mask. I have a dry skin type, and it does not dry out my skin. Especially is good during winter months.

I had been looking for this natural olive oil soap for a long time. When I go to Turkey I bring back a kg or so in my luggage but not more than that. Thankfully I found it here on amazon.

What makes this soap different? First of all its main ingredient is derived from olive oil, not from cows and pigs (sodium tallowate). Expired rotten pieces of meat get boiled and you get your shampoos and soaps. Almost each and every brand now. Not this one.

It is good for skin and hair, it does not dry your skin, it keeps skin`s oil ph levels in balance while cleaning. It has the natural smell of olive oil. No artificial perfumes.

Exfoliating Massage Bar OLIVE OIL Soap With Olive Leaves & Shea Butter 350g

As someone living in the northeast and who spends a lot of time in the winter indoors with resultant dry skin and itching, this soap is wonderful. Using it daily has a moisturizing effect on my skin and the itching disappears. While the price is higher than what one would pay for a bar of soap in a drug store or supermarket, the soap lasts so long that it probably doesn't cost any more than a bar of any well known brand.

I have tried other olive oil soaps with some success but none of them is as good as Asquith & Somerset's product. It is not easy to find but as usual, Amazon came through and I was able to purchase it as a gift.

This is a soap you absolutely must not pass up! I have now tried pretty much all of the different types of this brand. The exfoliating and the massage nubs are absolutely incredible. My skin is soft, refreshed, and hydrated. I have been told my skin is glowing. People have actually asked if I have done something special to my skin. This does NOT leave a heavy scent. I LOVE rubbing my neck and shoulders with the side that has the nubs. It feels like a little massage. I am giving some of all the different scents for Christmas presents. I think they would make a great gift to give someone when you stay overnight to say thanks. As a guy, I must say... this is a MUST HAVE!

I've been using this product for the last 20 years. It has never left my skin feeling dry, or left a film on me like "body wash" does. It has the great clean scent of Rosemary (unlike Neutrogena).

I always buy 6 bars or so, unwrap them and let them air dry so they last longer.

It's not a deodorant soap,a perfumed soap, or a fancy soap.

It very simply gets me clean and feeling fresh.

As long as they keep making it, I'll keep using it.

This Pears soap is absolute rubbish, nothing like the original at all. Why do they pay idiots to "improve" on a tried and true recipe! It smells horrible, looks cheaply made, and is so watered down it only lasts a couple of weeks, instead of months for the old type. Of course that is probably a good thing. I mean to use it up washing the dogs.

However, it was nothing like the original Pears Soap!! I was greatly disappointed, and after the fact, I read all the reviews, and that was the biggest complaint about this "new" Pears soap. I can't say enough positive things about Plantlife soaps.

I came to natural soaps for a very specific reason--a husband whose eczema was virtually out of control. For years, we'd tried keeping him on soaps designed for sensitive skin. This is a wonderful soap for the hands. It's mild and cleans the hands well. The scent is beautiful and lends a nice aroma to the bathroom. I've been buying Plantlife soaps for a number of years because they have a great product. Their customer service is very courteous and prompt. They ship quickly and package the product well. I have never received any damaged soaps from them.

I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys soap that doesn't contain a host of potentially harmful chemicals.

I love the woodsy scents and this is by far the best I've ever used, the scent is strong but so wonderful it doesn't matter, smells fresh and clean and the lingering effects are not overpowering, they fade in a short period of time (all the PlantLife soaps do) wear any fragrance you like over this, no clashing, just a subtle earthiness added. Try these soaps, if you like woodsy scents try this one and Mountain Pine.

Rosemary Tea Tree 100% Pure & Natural Aromatherapy Herbal Soap- 4 oz (113g)

I have turn to Plant life soaps because it's 'all natural'. I ordered the ambrosia soap first, then this one, for I have acne, but extremely sensitive skin, AND I praised them for the natural soap, but spoke to soon. Like 'Mamabear007' mention it did make me itch and I also got a rash on my face that lasted several days I also have break outs on my body. I have tryed six of their differnet soaps(that's because I wanted to stick to natural products) to find one that won't over dry or 'annoy' my sensitive skin , and to my disappointment i've found none from Plant life. At frist I though it was another product I was using along with the soaps that was giving me that reaction, I stop using it and no change. Then I though okay, like some products it gets worst before it gets better (like different gel)but that was not the case. I have about eight of the soaps left in my house, so now I am just using them as 'decorative soap'...they do have a nice sent. But I will no long be using Plant life soaps...although I do like their detox bath salt which I use every now and then, I dont seem to react to it. So if your someone with sensitive skin, please use with caution, i'd recommend a gentle clenser like Cetaphil or use baby product, as I have started to and my skin is responding good. However if your not the sensitive type, I think you'll love these soaps, my sister LOVES them! Hope this helps

I love the smell of this soapvery crisp and clean. My husband and father-in-law use it as a facial soap for their oily skin. A soap dish is highly recommended with this soap, otherwise it can get soggy and deteriorate quickly.

Like this soap a lot. very pleasant scent. when smelling the bar, it seems a little strong, but after showering, was pleased to see that it left a light but pleasant scent on my skin. skin feels clean and refreshed after using. Also glad to know that i don't have to worry about any of the harmful ingredient that many soaps have (yes, i checked the ingredients!)

good sized bar too. i was surprised to see the bar was so big, so i cut it in half, and now have two smaller bars, but just my opinion.

OVERALL? great soap, Pleasant scent. worth the price definitely.

I have bought this soap repeatedly for the past year. I use it on my face (acne prone/oily) it is amazing. it gives a great sense of cleansing. the tea tree used in it has antibacterial properties. i have used many many different types of cleansers and soaps over the years nothing comes close to this all natural soap.
