Simply Ivory Bath Bar Soap 4 x 4.5 oz
As far as I know, this is as close to a plain unadulterated soap. I don't like artificial fragrances and harsh chemicals. Most soaps are expensive due to heavy marketing and ads, but they come and go. Ivory has been around since I was a little kid and still the same soap as I know. Very gentle to your skin, great for the kids too. Always very affordable.

I love this lilac bar of soap, as it smells just like lilac from growing wild. Its sudsy also and does leave my skin moist & silky. Only one bad thing when its laid in the soap dish, it really sticks down hard to the dish, it pulls up hard, or did for me at least, as after showering i laid in in the soap holder build into the shower tub wall. And it is expensive, but if you are a lilac fragrance lover as I am I dont mind a few dollars more. But if it was cheaper I would buy more, but I use this bar sparingly.

My husband and I recently stayed at JayPeak resort. Their bathroom had a mini Vermont Soap and I was very happy to see it sold through Amazon. (I am a big Amazon shopper)I have this large bar in my downstairs 1/2 bath and really like how it will fill the air with its wonderful aroma when used in the small bathroom. It leaves my hands feeling soft but natural. No residue feel. And the aroma left on your hands is very subtle. I am looking forward to having a good bar of soap for the cold VT winter. Anyone who lives in a cold climate can understand.
The bar is very soft and I've been careful to keep it dry when not in use. I don't know if it will crack like most bars but I don't think that it will because it has a lot of oils in it. Great quality.

this soap does not product a lot of lather, but that's okay with me. I have it in a silver dish on my counter and it looks very nice. Use it as hand hand soap and also to wash my face sometime when I run out of regular cleanser. I'm quite surprise how nice it is. It's a darker green than the picture here. It's got an earthy scent but doesn't really smell like olives. Works well on my combo skin (dry in spots, normal in others, and a little bit oily in T zone)

I have turn to Plant life soaps because it's 'all natural'. I ordered the ambrosia soap first, then this one, for I have acne, but extremely sensitive skin, AND I praised them for the natural soap, but spoke to soon. Like 'Mamabear007' mention it did make me itch and I also got a rash on my face that lasted several days I also have break outs on my body. I have tryed six of their differnet soaps(that's because I wanted to stick to natural products) to find one that won't over dry or 'annoy' my sensitive skin , and to my disappointment i've found none from Plant life. At frist I though it was another product I was using along with the soaps that was giving me that reaction, I stop using it and no change. Then I though okay, like some products it gets worst before it gets better (like different gel)but that was not the case. I have about eight of the soaps left in my house, so now I am just using them as 'decorative soap'...they do have a nice sent. But I will no long be using Plant life soaps...although I do like their detox bath salt which I use every now and then, I dont seem to react to it. So if your someone with sensitive skin, please use with caution, i'd recommend a gentle clenser like Cetaphil or use baby product, as I have started to and my skin is responding good. However if your not the sensitive type, I think you'll love these soaps, my sister LOVES them! Hope this helps

Like this soap a lot. very pleasant scent. when smelling the bar, it seems a little strong, but after showering, was pleased to see that it left a light but pleasant scent on my skin. skin feels clean and refreshed after using. Also glad to know that i don't have to worry about any of the harmful ingredient that many soaps have (yes, i checked the ingredients!)good sized bar too. i was surprised to see the bar was so big, so i cut it in half, and now have two smaller bars, but just my opinion.
OVERALL? great soap, Pleasant scent. worth the price definitely.I have bought this soap repeatedly for the past year. I use it on my face (acne prone/oily) it is amazing. it gives a great sense of cleansing. the tea tree used in it has antibacterial properties. i have used many many different types of cleansers and soaps over the years nothing comes close to this all natural soap.

My boyfriend absolutely hates what he calls "girly" soaps, but it seems we've finally found a product we both agree on. Generally, as we all know, men can be a bit messy at times. Since I've moved in with my boyfriend, a few of his habits have changed, and I can thank Plantlife for one of them! Thanks, PLANTLIFE, to giving my boyfriend the joy of lathering up!Personally, and my boyfriend agrees,the smells of these two oils combined together are absolutely magical! It is invigorating, healthy for my/our skin, and leaves me/us smelling fresh ALL day!! I buy myself this soap at least once a month, but the soap lasts the two of us(shower/bath users) at least an entire month, sometimes two! I truly hope Plantlife never EVER closes shop, because I will be beside myself the day they do!
