Dial Basics HypoAllergenic Dermatologist Tested Bar Soap, 3.2 oz (12 Bars)

I recently started getting skin rashes in response to a lot of soaps and detergents, so I've been switching to hypoallergenic products. This soap has been working great for me. I hear that Dial also sells the same soap under a different name (Pure & Natural) for a higher price; get this one instead. Much better value!

This is the world's greatest soap because it's plain and excellent. No dyes or perfumes or anything but the BASICS!

Though the Germans who made my "Pure & Natural" soap (which I used for years) swore that they'd stopped making it "because not enough was being sold", it seems they rejiggered the formula for "Dial" (which I'd never liked), because this is pretty much a clone of "Pure & Natural".

This is the only soap I use, I have very sensitive skin and this does the trick. The soap has a very light and pleasant fragrance and it seems that it really rinses off very well. It's all we use now.

I have suffered from psoriasis all my life and refuse to take a prescription with side effects to "maybe" help it. I used to use a shampoo called TGel because it had tar in it and that relieves the itching immediately, but didn't do much to help curb the actual outbreak. This soap started to work right away. The red imflammation went away and the patches themselves are subsiding. For those who think you'll smell like tar....NOT, it smells pretty good. For the price this soap is well worth it. For those who what relief without side effects, USE THIS.

I notice no difference in my condition. I do not have a bad case of psoriasis, so the reults should have been evident by now.

I've liked the Reviva oatmeal Soap for years. It's great for sensitive skin and it smells really nice too. This says it all!

This is my mainstay soap now, it's better than any soaps that I have found on the shelves. We have a water softener, but the water in Southern Nevada is pretty harsh, this soap helps my dry skin.

The previous reviewer said this stuff had a mild fragrance. It doesn't. It smells so strongly of cinnamon that I had to make sure I didn't get the wrong soap. The smell of this soap is just overpowering. I guess "heavily spiced with cinnamon" must be how some people like to prepare their actual oatmeal, so they can't tell the difference between oatmeal things and cinnamon things. If you, however, can tell the difference between oatmeal and cinnamon, avoid this brand.

I've been using this soap consistently for a couple of years all year around. It's particularly good in the winter when dry, itchy skin can become a problem. It lathers well, has mild fragrance, and leaves a smooth, silky feel on my skin.

Ireland Springs Solid Cologne by The Beer Soap Company - 1 oz

This is a decent smelling cologne if you like the smell of Irish Spring soap. SO it kind of smells like you are fresh out of the shower, but all day.

Miracle II Moisturizing Soap - 1 Gallon (128 oz)

A friend of mine recommended that I try this "Miracle II soap" and I laughed when I saw that one of the ingredients was "prayer". Anyway, it is a FANTASTIC product! I can have the worst day at work and come home, put 2 Tbsp of this soap into my tub and feel like a million bucks. It nourishes my skin like no other product. My skin feels soft and moisturized. Well worth the money because each time I take a bath, I only using a small amount. Love this product and highly recommend it!

This soap is great. It is concentrated so it lasts a very long time once you dilute it according to your usage as explained on the label. It can be used as a household cleaner, a degreaser, dish soap, shampoo, body wash, just about anything that you would like to use a gentle and natural, pH-balanaced soap on. [Everything?]

My favorite use is for bathing my dog. I am not exaggerating when I say that the fleas are completely repelled by the pH of this soap. The fleas literally jump off the dog with this product lathered on. [It's not a very foamy lather.] It completely eliminates the need for a flea comb after the bath. But, please remember to get the moisturizing version as the regular version is too drying for doggie's skin.

This big bottle can last a couple years or more.

I agree with everything positive everyone above says & will try not to repeat.

No residue in shower!No soap scum or scrubbing! Big plus for anyone weak from autoimmune disorders, narcolepsy, elderly, physical disabilities, etc.... or anyone who would like to NOT have to deal with soap scum & have more time for other things in life!

I'm allergic to everything & can only use Miracle II soaps without breaking out in hives. If I can use this soap I would bet ANYONE can use it.

Have to SHAKE Moisturizing soap BEFORE EACH USE. (Miracle II does have another liquid soap that is NOT moisturizing if you don't want to shake.) I bought a 22 oz Miracle II soap to have in the shower & refill it. The gallon is heavy to shake for me. When I get it I shake it up completely till it turns light turquoise with no white streaks & pour what I can into a 1/2 gallon round plastic container so it's lighter to shake next time.

For hand washing I bought a 'foamer dispenser' where you pour in about a third of soap, add two thirds water & the dispenser adds air to make it foamy. Makes soap last a lot longer for hand washing.

Side note: I had a boss who would take a bath in Miracle II and use the water to water her plants & her plants were absolutely beautiful!

I think anyone with sensitivities would like this gentle, unscented soap: eczema, asthma, allergies, chronic fatigue, cancer, dermatitis, lupus, rashes, inflammation, diabetes any issue where there may be breathing, skin or immune sensitivities. Even great for pets!

Bliss Soap

Great soap! Smells good, but not very strong. It didn't leave my skin dry like all other bar soaps. However the price is too high to use exclusively.

This deordorant bar actually does work, but you MUST apply it to very newly clean skin. I keep my bar in the shower with me. There are no sharp edges that "cut" you...its as smooth as a bar of soap...but if youve recently shaved there might be a little stinging...nothing terrible. The bar I received is about the size of a traditional plastic container of deodorant (see pictures I uploaded). It's a smooth oval cylinder with slightly rounded ends.

I have found that it works remarkable well as a deodorant (note that salt doesn't work as an antiperspirant, it just controls odor by preventing bacterial growth). To apply, just slowly rub it across clean skin a few times. Avoid rubbing quickly or with a lot of pressure to prevent irritation.

This seller is selling an item that is meant to be used on rough skin, as a deodorant bar, I assume to try to use a product in a second way. This product was never meant to be used as a deodorant bar. It causes small cuts on your armpit, which then fill in with salt. It's quite painful. You should purchase a product that was meant to be used as deodorant. A salt block meant for deodorant is solid salt crystal, and will not cut your underarm up, or cause pain.

I bought a Salt Block 2"x 2" square of wonderful clear Salt,smooth edges and smooth all over. Or was until I dropped it on my counter and chipped off a small corner. NO Problem...still using this small block. Yes I especially use it just after shaving the pits...as I dry off and dry the pits I wet the salt block under a dribble of water and apply it to the pits. Sting...yes at first I noticed it,but not any more unless I shaved a little too close and irritate the skin. I would still use the Salt block if that happened anyway. The slight sting goes away quickly. I used it for about 2 weeks and I then proceeded to ON PURPOSE NOT to take a shower for 3 days. I applied it only that first day after my shower and shave. During that time I worked outside in the yard and garden working up a really great sweat. Temp here was in the 90's....Remember this was a test. Each day I sniffed the pits, and no odor...I thought this was some kind of magic stuff. Evening of Day 3 Hubby and I got into bed. I jumped over to him and put my pit right in his face and told him to take a deep breath....HE MINDS REALLY WELL TOO... He did and I said "Smell anything? I haven't showered in 3 days!!!"....well the look on his face was just priceless. He said No no smell...then yelled "You haven't showered for 3 days?"....Well then I told him of the new Salt Block I got, and how he just confirmed that it worked. He just shook his head as if I had lost my mind....

I bought this because the info about the Men/Women in several other high Mountainous Countries found this to be the only thing that would keep the odor away. They don't have Old Spice in these countries. The Salt Block stops the bacteria growth under the arms and that is what causes the odor. Men with hairy armpits...I thought "Really..and this worked?"...So I tried it.And Yes it works.

Give the Salt Block at least a couple weeks of daily using (clean and dry the pits, give it the fair shake) so your body gets used to it too. Remember, this is not an anti-perspirant.
