This was a gift for my best friend and she absolutely loved it. I had to order one for myself and they smell wonderful! They came packaged in a nice box with a really cute bow, I just handed the box to my friend without the fuss of wrapping. I recommend this product.
Yardley English Lavender French milled soap has a true lavender fragrance and makes a very nice lather. The bar lasts quite some time and it will last even longer if it is aged for a few months prior to use (although it will lose some of the smell) so I usually unwrap it and place it in my dresser drawers and linen closet where it gives a clean, delicate scent to the items stored there.
We've been using this soap for 6 years or so. It has been especially beneficial to my 95 yr old Dad who has very sensitive skin. It does leave your skin soft, supple and not dry at all. It's a shame that the company has gone out of business as I found out last week when I tried to order from them. I hightailed it up to CVS last night and they had 5 bars left in stock at $4.99 per bar, which is the normal price. I'll be darned if I'll pay $14.95 for a bar as posted in this listing no matter how long a bar lasts though!

I love this stuff! It's the most moisturizing soap I know. My face doesn't feel super tight after I use it. It's not perfect -I still need to use moisturizer after washing with it, but if I don't, it's just a little bit dry...much better than any other soap I've used. I love the Hugo Natural Soaps and this is one of my favorite scents. It is very refreshing and quite strong, without smelling artificial or overpowering. Lathers nicely and contains no chemicals or animal products! I never buy "regular soaps" because they are full of stuff I do not want on my skin.
Okay so I totally got swayed into purchasing this soap because it was made from Glycerin and it has the flavors of Coconut and Mango. I got the soap and it did not dissapoint! First of all, I have to mention that this soap has real sugar in it. I won't confess if I actually stooped so low as to lick it to make sure, but rumor has it, the soap is actually bitter and sweet-so something you may want to watch if you have children or pets inclined to eat random things.

I have been using this soap for hair washing, and my hair turns out fluffy and soft every time. I have a lot of hair, but it's individual strand is really thin.. so thin but thick. Short blonde hair by the way. I cut my hair awhile back and swore up and down that I would never use stripping detergent shampoo again.. this is the best soap I've found thus far. Also, an awesome price as well. Most handmade soaps on th internet are about 4 to 6 dollars each. And the smell is rich and noticeable.. not bland like some HM soaps. I am a total fan of this soap. I have tried & use others when I cannot locate this soap & they are quite good but, my first choice is always the soap from Fernwood. Smells great, really suds up and my hair looks great. I did prefer the lavender scent however as I found this scent a bit masculine.
If you are familiar with sandalwood and patchouli, this soap smells like that. I think it has a stronger sandalwood scent. Both fragrances are an earthy/woodsy smell.

I'm familiar with Dove and had expected the relatively neutral scent I'm accustomed to. This batch is so strongly scented that I'm not sure we'll use it. I guess we'll leave that to our guests... but I'm not even sure of that. We may donate it to a local shelter for abused moms and kids.
Smells good, maybe a tad too strong, and not what I expected olive oil to smell like. Wouldn't put it in my clothes because it would be too strong. Used as a bridal shower favor, silk bags received with the soap made the presentation cute. Would recommend.
