Guys, I think this is listed in the Products for Women catagory, but you've nothing to fear. This is one great, fresh and clean smelling soap and that's how it'll leave your bathroom smelling after a shower. It's a little potent when it's first unwrapped, but it calms right down.

This pomegranate soap, by Pre de Provence, has a scent that lingers like a breath of fresh fruity air. It rinses clean and lasts quite a long time. It doesn't dissolve easily either. It is a huge bar with a deep rich color and a little bit of weight to it. It comes wrapped in a see-through wrapper, nothing fancy, the empahsis is surely on the soap here, which is as it should be. I've ordered it several times for family members and my best friend and they are each pleasantly taken by it's sheer size, deep rich color and intense, exotic pomegranate smell. One side of the soap is imprinted with the words 'Pre De Provence' and on the other side, 'Pomegrante Soap' 'Made in France'. It is a rich looking soap and I am so glad that I was able to find it online at Amazon.

I bought 2 bars of this pomegranate soap, the oatmeal and the goat's milk soap. I LOVE THIS STUFF! It creates a rich, creamy lather and smells HEAVENLY & SPA LIKE. The bars last a really long time, too. The soap leaves no residue & is actually good for the skin, as it does not remove the protective layer like harsher soaps do & leaves your skin soft. Don't get me wrong, these Pre de Provence bars are awesome! But after using several bars of the green Linden-scented variety, the Pomegranate doesn't measure up smell-wise. There's a nice fruity smell coming from this gi-normous bar...but it just doesn't compare to the crisp, clean, lightly flowery scent of the Linden bar. Personal preference, I think. This is a very smooth, luxurious soap that smells lightly of pomegranate, which is slightly different than the other Provence soaps that are more herb-y or flower-y. It does not smell like bubble gum, as a previous reviewer stated. Even my guy used it (and liked it and kept using it) and was not overly concerned that he smelled girly, which he did not.
Good soap and better aroma. Well worth waiting for it to come from India. It takes a while, so order a lot of them and then save them for gifts.

A friend who went to Europe recently brought back some soap from France which was far better than this. The only problem is, I don't know who made it.
I bought my husband 1 cake of this soap over 10 years ago.. it is the ONLY soap he will use. He loves the scent and mildness.
Just finished my first bar and have to say this soap does work nicely on the skin. Did not dry out my skin like other soaps either. Each bar is a bit pricey but i would certainly buy again. Next time i hope they're on sale ;-)))

This is the first time I have purchased pine tar soap. At first I was disappointed that the soap did not have a pine scent. After using the soap there is nothing that compares to the amount of lather that it creates and the smooth clean feeling it gives without any dry skin harshness.The smell of this stuff is indescribable. It is not a pretty, pine scent and is actually sort of medicinal. It does seem to keep the mosquitoes off me which is what I bought it for anyway. I'll keep using it till mosquito season is over.
Hilarious, but one of the two got flushed! Haha! Every time I have people over I leave this in the soap dish or on the back of the toilet. For best results moisten for a good look.

These don't look much like the picture. They still look pretty real though, and I'm sure they will look better when wet. No visible corn on the exterior. Maybe the corn is embedded and will become visible as the soap gets used? This is a nice quality soap, with a mild scent and good 'latherability'. I would prefer a little more scent, but it is pleasant and the soap is not drying. I'm not sure about the value, which is why I only gave 4 stars, but it is obviously a fine quality soap.

I will admit the Acqua Di Parma Scented Soap is very pricy (all Acqua di Parma products are) but love the smell. You will find showering more enjoyable as it simple smells so good so think about getting a bigger hot water heater. Oh and it does the cleaning job very well too. Seems I am not the only one as I have found Acqua Di Parma products at a number of high-end hotels and exclusive resorts (first found it at the Ritz in Las Angeles). And "no" I am not a high roller, I just like quality products.
All of these soaps by Mia's are good. very moisterizing and great smell. Soaps are precut and they make great little gifts as well. I gave some to my family for valentine's day. Quality for your money.
Great soap! Smells good, but not very strong. It didn't leave my skin dry like all other bar soaps. However the price is too high to use exclusively.
I've never felt particularly fond of any kind of soap, but my friend gave me a few bars of True Body facial soap and body soap and now I'm absolutely hooked. Perfect and gentle on your skin, not too drying, and I know that it will never irritate my skin.

I assume that most people looking for a sandalwood soap is because you want to enjoy the scent. This soap has the best sandalwood scent. Not overwhelming but strong. I have purchased other soaps but the scent is too weak and I don't get to enjoy it. After your shower you will retain that nice scent. It also makes a thick lather and leaves your skin nice and soft.
I ordered this soap for my homemade laundry recipe. The bars are very large and easy to shred on my cheese shredder. My clothes come clean and I am very pleased. I have found that Zote works well on white cottons instead of Fels Naptha which tends to leave the yellow stain behind on perspiration areas. Zote is white and leaves no color behind. White vinegar in my rinse water takes care of any soap residue.
