Himalaya Neem & Turmeric Soap 4.4oz bar

I am certainly falling in love with this soap. Due to the medicinal values of Neem and Turmeric, the body feels clean. Also, the moisturiser stays in the body for at least 3-4 hours after bath. The smell is not bad at all, considering it is organic. This soap will be my bath soap for the next many years.

Mistral Men's Soap, Cedarwood Marine, 250 Grams

This stuff is great, it smells indistinguishably manly and awesome like a pirate lumberjack. It's kind of like driftwood, and wood chips, and christmas trees, and whatever wood pirates made their peg legs out of.

I have been looking for a good Men's soap for quite a while that had a long lasting scent that is not overpowering and I have concluded the Men's collection of soaps from Mistral are the best after trying a dozen or so other brands first that were cheaper. I ran across the Mistral brand and decided to go ahead and try one as I had tried all the other cheaper brands and I am glad I did. This scent (Cedarwood Marine)is my favorite and is everything I want in a soap, including an Amazon price that is better than most of the small shops retail it for. This triple milled bar lasts me about a month of everyday use and the scent stays well after the shower and beyond. The vendor description is very accurate: Cedarwood Marine Men's Bar Soap, This original combination evokes a seaside forest where cedarwood, marine essences and cool eucalyptus create a clean, refreshing aroma. It has Toning Grape Leaf Extracts with Anti-irritant & Anti-bacterial properties, Gapeseed Oil that conditions and softens male skin (but not overly so, antioxidant polyphenols and it is Triple-Milled for longer lasting use. It does not leave me feeling overly dried and it does not leave a film or residue behind that many men's soaps that claim they soften skin do. My second favorite is the Sandalwood and third would be the Citrus Woods but I was not very happy with the Black Amber as it did not have a lasting scent as the others but that may be preferred by some.

It is a good soap and lathers well, but the scent is not at all what was expected. The reviewer who thought their process might be inconsistent may be right. Unlike most reviewers, I found the scent to be very faint. It also smells nothing like cedar. Nor does it smell like eucalyptus, which is for some reason supposed to evoke the sea. It is infused with white coffee and green ginseng. That's probably why I can't place the smell. White Coffee and Green Ginseng??

I am giving this soap 4 stars only because it is a great soap that does not over dry. After reading the other reviews, I was expecting more of a fragrance. I can detect very little scent even while washing with it, and any trace of fragrance is gone by the time I step out of the shower. I definately do not smell anything like cedar or salt water. I have to wonder if the production process is inconsistant, given the other reviews about the great smell.

Shiseido Honey Cake Soap

I'm allergic to so many products, but Honey Cake is wonderful. It is non-drying and leaves my skin soft and smooth. Light, pleasant fragrance is a plus.

Have used Honey Cake since living in Hawaii back in 1960s-70s. Love it, but wish it were sold locally (Evansville, IN). It's a bit expensive, but lasts a long time and good for washing your face.

Thank you Amazon for having this Honey Cake available. This is another product I've used for years and can no longer find in any department store. Shiseido has a great line of facial products and this is one of my favorites. It helps remove makeup well. It tends to be a bit drying, but I use a moisurizer twice a day. The scent is fresh and clean and not too perfumey. One cake of soap lasts for months as you only need a smidge to create alot of lather. The case is necessary so the wet soap can dry and not get mushy.

Ultra Glow Black Soap 99.2G

This soap is the best, it does it all. If you have acne, blemishes, dark spots, dry skin, you name it this soap cures it. I'm a woman who loves trying new face washes but by far this stuff is the best kept "secret" and is dirt cheap.I'm African American with combination skin, and my face doesn't feel tight after I wash it, or oily hours later. I had a couple of small pimples on my forehead and cheek. After 2 days, you can barely see them and my face looks much brighter! The scent is not overpowering or strong, it is very light. Actually, it smells similar to licorice.

I plan on getting another bar for my shower so this soap can clear up the dark spots on my back and shoulders left by acne scars. The only gripe, and this is incredibly minor, is that you may need to wipe off the counter if any of the lather gets on your sink or the walls of your shower. It is not staining or damaging though.

I highly recommend, and am surprised there aren't more reviews for this product.

This is the most fantastic soap on the market! i have used it for 2 years and no other black soap can compare to it. Definitely the one to try!

When you have a social agenda such as I do you need to be clean and not smell like you just crawed through a sewer pipe like on the episode of Family Guy that spoofed the Shawshank Redemption. I shower regularly with this soap and use a little cologne and everythign is coming up roses. And remember gentlemen a little colongne goes a long way. Just saying.

The bars wear down quickly, but I love this soap. The version with aloe makes me beak out, but this one does not.

After a little research, I found that this "pure" soap is not as good & pure as I thought. it contains potentially hazardous fragrance and TETRASODIUM EDTA.

If you are looking for something "pure", I think these are better choices (though more expensive):

Sometime during my adulthood, I slowly started having "contact allergies" with various soaps. Bath soaps, laundry soaps... I don't even use fabric softener anymore.

Previously, I was using Cetaphil bar soap (for about 5 years), which worked well for me, but I thought I would try Ivory soap for a while and ease my budget a bit. It had been years since I used Ivory soap, but I don't recall not liking it... I think I just moved on to more perfumed soaps... until the allergies started.

I made the switch about 6 months ago, and so far, I am very pleased with Ivory soap. I have had no allergy-like symptoms. It is a bit more "drying" to my skin, but I tend to have more "oily" skin, so that hasn't been a problem so far. I used it during the Winter and Spring... and now Summer is arriving, so I believe I will stay with Ivory for a while. It's a good, basic soap and suits my needs well.

I have been using this soap for over 10 years and have noticed a steady deterioration in quality. Two years ago I started noticing that in every bar there is a small central core of soap that simply will not suds no matter how hard you try; the latest package contains 3 soaps that are only half usable. After my local stores stopped carrying this product, I was elated to find it on Amazon.com. When I ordered this I was just expecting to receive 3 bars of soap, but when it arrived, I was happy to see there were 9 bars total (3 packs of 3), so the price was even better than expected and better than I was paying at the store. As it turns out, I've found my skin to not like most soaps on the market, and Dial for Men does not give me any irritations, or overly powerful scents. As for the grit, while it's not as rough as LAVA soap (thankfully) it does provide a better scrub than non-gritted soaps.

All in all, I am happy with this product.

I thought this would be the same as Irish Spring Clean Scrub and was a better deal so I bought it. It is a good deal and it works well, just not as exfoliating as the Clean Scrub. Amazon shipping is always amazing.

I have been using this soap for over a year now, it is the exact same soap as the MUSGO Real Glyce Lime Oil soap (MRGLO) but a bit cheaper. It is very concentrated stuff, a 10 second lathering in your hands provides plenty of soap to scrub your face, I only use my hands and have never used the bar as a shave stick or used a wash cloth..using my method, each bar lasts me 3 months of daily shaves. I do not rinse this soap off, I scrub my face well with my fingertips for a good 30 seconds and then I leave it on without rinsing... It is very moisturizing and the combination of oils and high glycerine content really helps soften your beard and leaves a slick lubricating film on your skin to build your shaving lather on.

Really awesome product and the seller "From Portugal With Love" is wonderful to deal with!

I've used the soap for two days now and feel it helps me achieve a superior shave. The seller was responsive and I would purchase the product again.

Camp Soap

I bought a small quantity of this product to try it out and am glad I didn't buy more. Shipping, etc. were fine and the product came in a baggy so it wouldn't leak which was nice. When I tried to use this concentrate I found that I needed much more than I should have to do a simple task. It did not seem to work well as either a body wash or for washing pans as it didn't remove oil/grease. I haven't tried it as a clothes wash, but suspect it will perform poorly.

It's soap and it does what soap does! It does have a light scent, but nothing bad. Used on cutlery and skin alike, I didn't have any problems. Worked for cleaning what I needed without any leftover residue.

South Of France Bar Soap

I bought these South of France soaps on several occasions. They are wonderful! The ingredient list is what really makes me happy (no soy--90% of the US soy production is genetically modified!).

They smell great and feel great. The only complaint i have is that sometimes, if you don't use them every day, the soap starts to crack. Other than that, the soaps are wonderful! I highly recommend them!

This soap is really foamy! Little creamy, but easy to wash off with water. Smell is fresh, i really like this soap.

The hydrating abilities of the bar is good, the bar melts into the skin and there is not excess like lotion. Problem is the smell of the bar and lack of "great" hydrating abilities. Goldbond lotion or others really soak into the skin and stay with you for a while. The soy wax does not help much, only the Shea butter.
