Yardley of London Moisturizing Soap Sweet Summer Aloe and Cucumber 3 + 1 Free

I purchased this soap to take the place of the Yardley of London Oatmeal & Almond soap that I was previously using. Since spring is right around the corner, I felt this scent was appropriate. Unfortunately, this soap doesn't have much of an aroma at all. I was expecting the aloe and cucumber to have a very fresh scent that would stick with you after getting out of the shower. When washing with this soap, you get a hint of the fragrance, but not much past that. The soap, however, is very moisturizing and gentle. I have noticed a difference in my dry skin after using this soap. It lathers well and rinses clean. Nothing is worse than getting out of the shower and feeling "scummy" from residual soap residue. I would recommend this product to those with all types of skin. I will continue to use Yardley of London soaps, but will be seeking a different scent.

I have always used ivory. I just liked the idea of soap with no perfumes or dyes, so i did have some trepidation when I first tried this. I now perfer this over the regular type. It has just a slight aloe smell that I like. It is hard to find where I live so S&S is perfect for me.

Symba Medicated Soap

It clears acne very quickly it's great for teenagers and even their older folks. Give it a try you won't regret it.

I have used this product.. and what i have realized is that there are many types of Symba soap. I bought this product in a store, ordered some from England, and a friend ordered some for me on amazon (before i started using amazon myself) and every-single-one of these soaps had differences in color, texture, scent, ingredients and effect on me. The first one i bought at the store (can't find them there anymore) worked wonders on my skin! in completely cleared my eczema and made my skin look and feel better than it has ever felt before! I've been plagued with eczema for all my life and it has never given me a break until this soap. However, after trying the other Symba soaps i realized the results were adverse to first one i bought. So... in short, u can try different bars from different areas until you get the right one. I'm still looking for that one i bought first, it was truly a miracle.

This is a great soap for acne, not available elsewhere that I can find. Thank God for Amazon, for bringing products to our doorstep that are not easily available locally. I must say I found the price steep, but it is a great product. My only other comment would be that if one is ordering something small, like soaps, in multiples, there should be some sort of incentive to buy multiples by not charging full price shipping for each item. I did probably end up paying three times too much for shipping, considering they all arrived in one small box. That is the thing that turned me off, hence only four stars. A fantastic soap, but an incentive to by several would be nice.

Out Of Africa Pure Shea Butter Bar Soap

This is a really wonderful soap, with an awesome vanilla fragrance that will fill your whole bathroom. It's so gentle you can use it as a complexion soap. I had used this previously, but couldn't find it until yesterday. Surprisingly, this is sold at Publix and I definitely plan to go get more.

I absolutely love this soap! A friend of mine and I realized that we needed a shampoo that did not strip our natural African American hair of its natural oils. We noticed that when we simply rinsed our hair before a washing, it remained soft, but after using shampoo, our hair was left feeling hard and stripped. We decided that perhaps the phosphates in the shampoos was the culprit. After trying many natural shampoos, tons of different natural hair products (some quite costly) and even natural hair bars, we still had the same problem. Stripped hair. I began looking for an alternative and found Out of Africa soap. I believed that what I could use on my skin might work for my hair. After reading the ingredients of Out of Africa shea butter soap, I decided to give it a try...and voila! it worked like magic. When I wash my hair with this soap, it maintains all of its softness. I discovered this soap in Walgreen's, but they no longer carry it. It is gentle and non-drying because of the high shea butter content, and it doesn't irritate my skin as many commercial products do. I use it for face and body washing and as my shampoo because of my scalp sensitivity. I lather it in my hands and then apply it to my hair--it works beautifully and does not strip my hair. I was so happy to find this product on Amazon that I bought a number of bars.

I would give this product 5 stars except for the fact that once it is wet the bar starts shrinking fast. I really like the aroma though and it doesn't dry out my skin like other products.

Creativity For Kids Make Your Own Cupcake Soaps each

My daughter loves gifts that involve making things, so we got her this kit for her 6th birthday. I loved that I could read her the instructions and then let her go, and encouraged her to do different things then the instructions said, too--she had a great time shaping the soaps, using the little bath salts, and was delighted by the fact that she got to put each completed soap in it's own little plastic case. I was delighted that we didn't have to cook anything, melt anything, or make a huge mess. They smell fine--the same genre as play doh, but a little stronger, I'd say it's not unpleasant. When she uses them in the bath, the glitter that she sprinkled on top gets all over her skin, which she loves. She gave one to her grandma and she was so proud of herself. She keeps them carefully tucked away, so her brother doesn't use them, and has asked for another kit for Christmas. So, for us, this was a great choice. If you have a little girl that's crafty--this is a fun way to spend an afternoon.

My 9-year-old daughter received this kit for Easter. She could not wait to start making the "cupcakes". She thinks it is really fun and likes that it could be a group activity or one by herself. Following the instructions was easy. She made a realistic looking strawberry in no time. Her 10-year-old cousin also got this kit and had a blast making her own cupcake soap designs. Wish we could find refills of the soap clay!

Re: scent of the soap. We don't think it is stinky. It has a hint of honeysuckle fragrance. All the colors smell the same so you don't get a blend of scents.

My daughters (ages 8 and 10) had a lot of fun making their cupcake soaps and they looked really pretty and smelled fine. My one complaint is that the price is a lot for 3 soaps, but then again, my girls rationed their supplies and poured some of the material into cupcake holders that we had at our house. The result-they made 6 cupcake soaps (3 each) instead of only 3 :-)

Bought this for my 5 1/2 year old who loves crafts. Cute idea but needed a lot of adult help. The materials were hard to work with, they kept crumbling and it was frustrating. Messy.

This product is a cute concept and the online pictures are adorable. However, the clay used to constuct your soaps has a horrible perfume/flower smell that sent my kids running. It's almost laughable that they scented the clay with cheap perfume. Why not fun fruity flavors? Even better, clay that actually smells like cupcakes? I actually started using this soap, because I have Celiac's and needed something gluten free and this company carries an entire line of gluten free health and beauty products. It smells good without being overpowering, a soft gentle hint of lavender and rosemary. As with all organic, well made soaps it doesn't last as long as I wish, but the price here at Amazon makes it affordable for now. I have used it for about 2 years now and would highly recommend. They have different types of products available. I started with the neem, this product is more suitable for men I think due to the smell, so my husband inherited those and I went looking for a more feminine smell and found this. I also use their toothpaste and some of their lotions. They work very well too.

I purchased the L'Amande Marseilles Soap Laundry Soap Flakes 17 oz size as a gift for my Mother-In-Law for this past Christmas. I also bought myself a box too! Although the advertisement boasted of wonderous results, I made the purchase for luxury, not for practicality. The directions were in Italian...which made for an interesting translation (on line). But I was pleasantly pleased with the results. Using the flakes as directed...by the fistfull...to my handwashables and the clothes were quite soft and fresh to the touch after the first washing. I am very satisfied with this product! The price, which one must include shipping and handling, may keep this a luxury purchase for me, but I do believe I will replace my supply once again! Originally, I thought I needed this product to make homemade laundry detergent, however, I was wrong. Since purchasing this product, I've found no use for it. That's probably why it's so difficult to find in stores and had to be imported from France. It's not a bad product. It's exactly what it says it is, but I just can't find a use for it and I make most all of my cleaning products, shampoos, toothpaste, dish detergent, laundry detergent, handwashing liquid soaps, and bar soaps. If you use it, please write a review of what you do with it.
