The Provence Sante soaps are the best around. Nice clean bar soaps with a variety of herbal fragrances. Much less slippery on the feet than other soaps in the shower. When purchased from Amazon the soaps come quickly but try to buy the soaps from the same reseller within the Amazon marketplace. If you haven't tried these soaps you need to. Considerable savings over local resellers.
I love the product however, was very disappointed in the condition in which it was received. I ordered all five bottles that were available and several of them leaked. They were shipped in a padded envelope and should have been individually wrapped and shipped in a box. The envelope was soaked through and was just a mess.
I got these 4 soaps for sale at Marshall's for only $6 without s/h costs!! I don't have a digital camera so I couldn't take a pic of the soaps but they are elegant with the rectangular soap bars molded such that the bottom has the words "SAPONIFICIO ARTIGIANALE FIORENTINO MADE IN ITALY" and the top has an upraised molded crown in a circle which is surrounded by 2 nearly rectangular box patterns. If you search for "Saponificio Artigianale Fiorentino Soap Made in Italy White Gardenia, Three 4.4 oz bars" here at Amazon.com, the top of the soapbars look like those bars except there are 4 bars instead of 3. The back of the box says they are "not tested on animals" and they are "100% made in italy handmade soap" The soaps are small-to-medium size but they are fragrant but they DO NOT lather very well, not as well as the mass soaps, certainly not as well as oil of olay bars and not as well as the expensive luxury/premium nesti dante or pre de provence or bisous de provence or mistral or addison & gates or even asquith & somerset soap bars. Still, they're a great deal, being fragrant, elegant, and mainly organic soap (especially as a gift for someone else or if you want to add a touch of elegance to your bathroom) if you can get them on sale.
I ordered this soap because someone had suggested that it was similar to a Moulton Brown hand soap that I love, at a much smaller price. I am very pleased with it! Not only does it smell great, but it is the first soap I have ever used that does not dry out my skin. It is very moisturizing for a soap! I will definitely order this again.

I use this product daily. I give it for gifts to my favorite people. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth but does not have a "perfumey" scent. It makes you feel so clean. I hope I never have to go without Botanical Milk soap.

The soap is great, archipelago makes a great product. This was the first time I purchased their soap, I have bought their candles for years. It smells great, I am a guy and it is not too perfume-e or feminine for my tastes. My only real complain is that is it pricey stuff. 10 bucks for a bar of soap that lasts a few weeks is alot. Might be chea[er to order direct from River Soap Companys website. They usually did not charge Amazon California customers sales tax, now they do. It's totally worth every penny, not perfumed like the "Bath and Bodyworks" stuff in the mall. I like the woodland better, this is my second favorite. They do combine shipping if you want to order a couple of different scents.I have very sensitive skin and I am allergic to fragrances. This soap is very mild on the skin, is not drying and although it has fragrance it does not bother my allergies at all.I have trouble with most soaps. I have to change soaps about every month because of reactions. This soap doesn't dry out my skin and I have had no reactions. Very pleased.

This soap worked really well. It produces a nice lather. Best price I found..... It melted easily, I just added some fragrance oils and rosemary leaves, and poured into silicone molds. It's my first experience with goat's milk soap, therefor I didn't take off a star because I'm not sure if this is the same with all goat's milk soap bases but it smells awful! I had to use a LOT of fragrance oils to TRY and cover up the smell. As far as the product goes, it does work well.This soap base melts evenly and is super easy to use. I used it to make a bunch of christmas gifts this year. I went through 2 packages for all the soap I made. Holds scent well. I didn't use any color so no experience there.
Way too expensive for 1 bar of soap and it was just ok. I have bought similar kinds of soap for way cheaper and smelt better too.

The soap is way too gentle. Also it feels kinda weird as far as foam and rinsing. The cocoa butter ones are great. Don't bother with these.
This is amazing mud soap and it is manufactured in Israel. I wanted to make sure I was using authentic dead sea mud soap so it was important to me to know who was manufacturing the product. I have been using this for two months now and I'm on my second bar. I just recently ordered two more. I've been using this soap ever since a friend gave me a bar after returning from a trip to Jordan 5 years ago. I've had acne my entire life and it continued into middle age even as my skin got less oily. Nothing helped. Now that I've used this I don't think I can go without it. I had redness in my skin and now it's gone. My color is so nice now. I had tried for so long to get rid of the redness and nothing worked. It's hard to find good products for sensitive skin, but these are the best soaps you'll ever use for any skin type! They're not only good on skin, but are a great shampoo replacement as well. There's nothing artificial in these soaps and the scents are really nice. Their spearmint lip balm is wonderful too. I used to stop by their shop in western MD & stock up. Fernwood is nice people making a fabulous product!

Unfortunately, as a shampoo replacement, this product was a huge miss for me. The Fernwood Total Body Shampoo & Conditioner bar made my poor hair a dry, tangled mess. After washing, I could barely get a comb through my curly locks. It was simply an awful experience. HOWEVER, as a regular body soap, this is a wonderful product! The bar soap leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturized following application, and it does not leave any unpleasant residue as you'll find with some brand name soaps.

I've been trying dozens of soaps lately to find one that doesn't dry my skin (I have pretty sensitive skin) or make it feel oily or like it doesn't rinse off, while at the same time clearing up some minor blemishes on my body that are a constant problem. I found it. I love the way this soap feels and smells(very mild)and my skin is blemish free. I recommend this to those who find some soaps too harsh or overbearing or can't find a soap that will clear your skin up. Some people don't realize that some cleansers that claim to clear your skin actually make it worse by clogging your pores or have ingredients that leave residue that attracts dirt. Burt's doesn't leave any residue and it doesn't clog your pores. Great stuff. I'll be trying the body wash next just to see if it works as well; but I think I've found my body soap in the bar and don't see myself changing soaps ever again.
