Background: I've had acne since middle school. It got worse in high school and stayed the same through out half of my college life. I didn't really treat my acne with expensive products and pills but I did try few things and nothing worked. People told me it'd go away once I go past the teen years. Big BS! And no, just drinking lots of water doesn't help! It's been over 2 years since I've been no longer a teen, nothing had changed until this. I was tired of looking at my face, I'd pretty much given up. Until I randomly came across this product on a Pro-Active comment section. It certainly had better reviews and pricing than pro-active. So I decided to give it a shot as a last hope.Product review: I'm happy to report my acne has improved relatively! More than just relatively. I can keep a clean face for 3-4 of days until one or two small ones pop up, either for drinking sodas or lacking to put the oil on or lack of sleep. It's much better than having 7-8 ugly big and bleeding ones. It kills the germs and gets rid of zits and acne quickly, painlessly. No, it does not remove old scars/marks. You'll have to find something else to treat the scars (let me know if you have something good).
People here are saying it stinks. It certainly has a sharp smell to it, it's not pleasant, but it's not horrible. Then again, I'm not really bothered by it as it's doing what it suppose to do. When you see the results, you won't smell it either :).
I don't know about the soap bar though. I haven't really noticed anything special about it. I've tried couple of different face wash. I highly recommend that you find a face wash that suits your face and keep you face clean daily. And to go with that I've found pills to kill the germs from the inside to prevent new ones from popping up.
My method: This stuff is very sharp, so definitely mix it with regular temperature water. I used a plastic spoon to stir it and the spoon literally started to dissolve! So be careful. I usually apply it at night. I wash my face, dry, and apply the mix on my face with little cotton balls. Don't pop, poke, peel or scratch! I just dab it on the affected areas. Then I let it dry on my face and go to bed. Wake up and wash it off and PUT MOISTURIZER on. DEFINITELY use good moisturizers/sunscreen. Otherwise your face will be very dry, rough and will probably cause more breakouts. I started out with 5-6 times a week and gradually reduced it to 3-4. And that's my method.
Everyone here mentioned how great this product is, but no one mentioned any sort of instructions. I've searched online to see how other people use tree tea oil. I came across a lot of stuff, but this has been working for me. IDK if it's the most effective way but feel free to find out what works for you. If you find any other good ways to apply it please let me know.
Price: Although this product is great, but clearly the "FREE!" thing is a BS. That is why I gave it a 4 star. "Tea Tree Oil and "free" Soap bar" costs $11.79 + shipping (Update: now $15.77). If the soap was indeed free shouldn't "Tea Tree Oil + Blemish Stick" cost the same? Well it doesn't. It costs $17.47 (Update: now $22.80). So that's a bit upsetting. Do they really think we wouldn't notice it? Now that I know tree tea oil works, I'll probably look for better or cheaper options.
I highly suggest you try it out for yourself. Even if it doesn't work for you, it's worth a shot. As you can see it has worked for majority of the people. I might work for you too

It's a much better product than the soap. It's tree-tea oil roll-on, liquid, tiny stick. I carry it around with me all the time. And if I see something is popping up, or feel something bumpy or painful, I use it right away, up to 5-6 times a day according to the directions. So far it's been great, prevents new breakouts. It's not always possible to use the tree tea oil, so this comes in handy. Also, it seems already diluted as it doesn't burn so much. Once again, it is about $8 more than this product with free soap, so I don't think it's free, we are paying for it. And it's available on prime. I use he soap as a face wash at night and the tea tree oil mixed with water as an astringent. I follow up with raw shea butter. In the mornings I use a line of Boots products. I can't put into words how much I love this soap. Not only does it do a great job washing the grime off my 3 kids (even my boywho would let his feet turn black if we let him), they actually LIKE using it and it doesn't dry out our skin where most soaps do. Even my older child who has always had incredibly sensitive skin, exzema and allergies to most products can use this soap with no problems and come out of the bath smelling good enough to eat! Literally!After trying a few different Jones' products, my family and I don't use anything else. I also highly recommend the lip balm, body scrubs/butters, and sprays. Growing up my family always used Dove bar soap and while it always left my skin smooth I always preferred the smell of Irish Spring over the white dove bar. After I started to live on my own I got Irish Spring a lot or used body wash instead and I kept seeing my skin would always be dry. I decided to try the Cool Moisture bar since I had hope it would still keep the same moisturizing effect the original dove bar had, but add in a fragrance I preferred.I am happy to say its probably the soap I will buy from now on. So glad Amazon has a subscribe and save option for this product. My skin feels fresh and smooth ever since I started using this bar. The smell is also very refreshing. I know Dove may be a bit pricier than other bar soaps but it is pure quality in my opinion and having tried other brands and types of soaps I am going to stick with Dove.

I have used this soap since it first came out. Dove is great but this scent makes it better. Dove is the only soap that does not dry my skin out or gives me a rash. Only problem is most of their scents had that "Old Lady" smell. This one is quite refreshing. I like the shampoo version also. This is a fabulous product! As someone who frequently turns her nose up at perfumed soaps, I was shocked to fall so in love with this one! Not only is the scent exotic (and, dare I say, a little erotic?), but the soap itself leaves my skin feeling squeaky-clean and silky-smooth. I was heartbroken to discover that Caress has stopped manufacturing this product, so I am stocking up on the bars while I still can. I am, however, utterly delighted to know that Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs makes a perfume that smells a lot like this, called Morocco. So, when my body wash and bar soaps run out, I will still have the scent from the BPAL perfume.

While the soap itself is great, leaves your skin silky smooth, no residue at all, the scent of this particular Dreamquest bar is not at all nice. It smells similar to stale chopped nuts or something, barely any peach scent at all. I initially ordered 2 bars, and I thought perhaps the first bar was old and had gone rancid, but I recently opened the second bar to check, and no, the same scent was there. I can't bear to throw it out, due to the high cost of this soap, but I sure dread the smell of it in the shower every morning...Save 5% Off

Not a soap connoisseur here. Just a guy who has some skin trouble, is tired of every synthetic thing under the sun, wanted to try something tried and true.This soap smells great, feels great, lathers well, and the giant block lasts a long time. It is a touch drying, but despite that my skin loves it. I was not expecting this soap to be anywhere near as good as it is. Ingredients are 72% olive oil and some coconut oil, saponified with vegetable-ash lye; sea salt; and water. I don't know why it smells so good none of the things I mentioned seem like they ought to have this light, soapy fragrance but it really does.
I will buy another block in a few months, when this one is finally done.
EDIT: I am updating this review to reflect my increasing pleasure and joy in using this soap. I already gave the product 5 stars; I wish I could give it 6. I had originally just been using it as a kitchen hand soap, but I took it into the shower a few days ago, though I worried it might dry my skin out. Nope it works perfectly well as a body soap, conditioner, and shampoo. It is gentle on all the exposed mucous membranes of the body it does sting if you get it in your eyes. However, it rinses off easily and quickly and leaves hair and skin supple and soft, not stripped of natural oils. I have occasionally used olive oil as a skin moisturizer and this soap leaves my skin feeling the same way.
Another reviewer endorsed this soap because she didn't want to be applying "someone's chemistry experiment" to her skin. I have come along to feeling the same way. I didn't even know about this soap; I wouldn't know about it, except that I visited central Spain a few months ago, and that area is famous for Castile soap, which as a physician, I know is one of the few things safe for use as an enema. So I was interested in learning about Castile soap, and that Wikipedia article led me to Marseille soap, and that led me here.
You ever get the feeling that we're off track as a civilization, inventing ever newer and fancier ways to screw ourselves up, when the old tried and true standbys languish, available but abandoned on the march to ever more relentless consumer capitalism? No? OK, just me then. Get some of this soap anyway. It's totally excellent.

I really like this soap because of its simplicity and natural ingredients. Also, it is not full of chemicals like the regular soap you find at the supermarket. The big block feels solid when wet and feels like it will last a long time which makes it an economical choice for those looking for a natural olive oil bar soap. My only complaint is the packaging. Mine came with some cracked edges, most likely from shaking in the box during shipping. Please secure it so the soaps don't arrive with cracked edges and dust. I would also like to mention that the soap does leave my skin feeling slightly dry, but nothing too bothersome. It might not even be the soap...it could be me as I usually have dry skin with any soap I use. I've been trying different products for years to try to find something that won't make me itch, will still make me smell clean, and will not leave any strong residue or odor... I've tried several products and soap, including the vastly overrated bronners which makes an excellent hand degreaser, and has other good applications, but is NOT a good full body soap, and I've never found a smell that's not ultimately an assault on the senses in some way or another.I found this by virtue of first trying the legendary Aleppo Soap Which is indeed an EXCELLENT soap, but not remotely cost effective for me. I tried this on a whim, and it's OUTSTANDING It is 99% as good as Aleppo, which puts it still far above anything else out there.
The initial smell may be offensive to some It's olive oil based, and aged, so yeah, it will be distinct but that smell has no correlation with how you smell after using it. It leaves a very neutral and subtly pleasant smell, best described as clean. It's possibly a bit more on the masculine side if anything.
I've been using this for a couple of months now, and I won't go back to anything else...
The blocks last FOREVER. You can get a good month out of one, at least.
It gets you VERY clean, and rinses away easily, and does not dry out skin.
Product can be used on hair and face taking my routine down to ONE soap I use while showering, no other cleaners or conditioners
For the first time in my LIFE, my skin is clean, clear, and not dried out... And my hair is better off with simply this than it is with any fancy conditioners/shampoos!
I've tried all sorts of skin products to prevent the breakouts I tend to have over my body, and none of them have held a candle to this simple, olive-oil based soap... The breakouts have stopped entirely, and this has replaced shampoo, conditioner, face wash... you name it. So it actually ends up CHEAPER in the long run.
Is it silly or overdramatic to say that a soap has changed my life? Because this one has. I feel better about myself as a person as a direct result of this soap.

Soap smells good, sensitive on your skin, all natural and does it's job cleaning. Only down fall is that its small and goes by too quickly. Sometimes you might be better off just buying their products off their website due to sales they have once in a while. Plus they have more products to look into buying.

It is natural which is good!This is the best thing I have ever used on my sensitive skin. It is absolutely mild and natural, I loved it. I think it would be great for babies and kids. I grew up "itchy" from both bath soap and laundry soap, I'm sure it drove my Mom crazy, trying (in those days of the mid 1960's) trying to find something that cleaned without making me turn red and itch.
It is also a very luxurious soap, so both my inner itchy child and the adult woman who would love a bit of luxury, are very satisfied!I did not like this soap. It did not feel like it was cleaning my skin and I was not a fan of the smell. I liked the idea behind the soap, but it just did not end up working out for me.

I have tried all the soaps. zest is by far my favorite. its creamy, silky, and smells good. like someone else said, it really lathers. its the only soap i'll ever use (unless of course it goes off the market, witch would be sad)
As for the soap itself, you've probably used it before. All I can say is is if you liked it, there's no reason you won't like this. The bars aren't "fun-sized" or anything sneaky like that. They are normal-sized bars of soap. I personally like this soap and its smell, and it doesn't dry me out. You may be different. Who knows.
