Imperial Leather Soap. Case of 12

I love this soap, I bought some in the UK to bring back with me. The smell is gorgeous, fresh and lathers well. You feel like you're pampering yourself with the finest luxury. It isn't a girly feminine smell, I cannot even describe it, men would love it too, but it isn't like a man product that women wouldn't like.

If you tried this, you would be hooked on it forever. I'm glad I found it on Amazon, now I don't have to buy it while I'm overseas.

Measurements of soap are 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4".

This soap was in our self catering apartment in Scotland when we checked in ... and we have used it ever since. Went to the Co-Op on the way to Edinburgh airport as we left and bought several bars. We now order it through Amazon. Great fragrance and texture. A reminder of a great golf trip!

I was very happy to find this product was still available in the US. I had been able to purcase Imperial Leather bath soap in Canada for many years.

About 5 years ago it was no longer avilable in Canada. It was not being imported by the distributor.

My wife is British living in America. She used Cussons Imperial Leather her entire life and won't use any other soap on her soft creamy British complexion. This is a true bar of soap unlike the concoctions sold in America. It doesn't contain anti-bacterial skin drying ingredients which can't be understood without a chemistry degree. This is traditional soap. Each bar, about the same size as an American bar, lasts many times longer. I'm now hooked on it. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful soap for people with sensitive skin. The only problem I have is it doesn't last to long because it is so soft, However the kindness it gives to your skin is worth the softness.

Being a Bay Area, California, native, I am used to non-dry, non-humid, super-controlled, mild climates. With the whole El Nino/La Nina shenanigans happening, we have definitely been facing some extreme weathers (like low 50s temp... lots of rain... semi-strong wind... etc. It's all so horrible)

As a result, my skin has been ridiculously dry, which has led to unbearable itchiness in my rougher spots (feet, ankles, heels, elbows, etc.)

I love Ivory Soap ever since I found out that it's all Brandy (the singer) uses to clean her face (this was back in the late 90s) and it also claims to be 99.9% pure, which is always a nice claim.

I was definitely looking for a moisturizing soap, but was afraid to try Dove or Caress because they didn't claim to be 99.9% pure.

Enter Ivory Soap with Aloe Vera. It smells great AND it seems to be doing the job of keeping me moisturized enough that only a few post-shower lotions a month is all I need to stay non-itchy (This is USEFUL)! It also smells wonderful!

I love this soap for its typical Ivory sudsing and softness, but with an improved, subtle fresh scent. I used to be able to find it at only one local supermarket, but then they stopped carrying it. I'm really glad to have found it on Amazon, and have just ordered a year's supply!

Cranberry & Pomegranate Body Bar - 5 oz - Bar Soap

This is the best bar soap I have ever used. It gets my skin squeaky-clean without drying it out. After the first few uses the bar develops a slightly rough surface that improves the cleansing action without aggravating my adult acne. Erbario Toscano Olive Oil Caress Vegetable Soap Duo

I first was exposed to this soap in Italy. I was on vacation and had first traveled to Britain and then took the train to Italy. British soaps always makes me breakout in a rash. Actually, a rash is a understatement....it's as if their soaps start to eat my flesh (weird). Anyway, I was in Britain for a couple of weeks and the rash was on my hands, and they had bled. By now there was scabs all over my hands, and the rash was still there also. I went to Italy and used this soap and literally within a day of using, my rash went away and the scabs healed! Dudu Osun Soap 12 Pieces Pack

Great soap, great scent. People, this soap is for everyone, not just black people (do you know how incredibly ignorant that sounds?! I wish people would research stuff before they perpetuate this kind of nonsense.) It is called "black" soap because there are plant ashes in the soap, giving it it's dark appearance. It is made from leaves and bark of various trees and plants that are burned in a kettle or vat. The leaves are from banana trees, plantain skins, leaves and bark, palm tree leaves, cocoa pods, shea tree bark, etc. The ashes from the leaves are then mixed with water and then filtered. Oils such as shea butter, coconut oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil, and cocoa butter are added to this water to create the soap.

this is a great soap. i use it all the time. i have found that as long as i'm using this soap, i never have to use any moisturizing cream to keep my skin from cracking up in the winter.

After reading the positive reviews, I decided to give this soap a try. Lately, I have become interested in african aromatherapy and natural beauty products, so I was excited about using this soap. Scanning the Internet for Greek-made products to purchase, I found an online store that sold Greek foods, gifts and beauty products, including this soap. In addition to my food purchase, my first order included Papoutsanis Lavender and Magnolia aromatic soap. When opening the box upon arrival, the perfume smell was overwhelming. After letting the apartment air out, I unwrapped the bars and began using them regularly as satisfied customer. In fact, Papoutsanis can expect another repeat customer. The soaps add a nice scent to the bathroom that is just right and not as overwhelming as my initial exposure.

The one downside of this product is that it does dry the skin. These are not moisturizing olive oil soaps but conventional hard soaps presumably made from an alkaline substance. As such, they are excellent cleaning soaps for hands but are probably not good for hair as the Greek olive oil soap are.

The strategy of helping the faltering Greek economy through small purchases is tenuous. Yet, there are excellent Greek soaps, wines, olives, figs, cheeses easily obtainable in the United States, which don't cost all that much more than common alternatives. Admittedly, this is putting a band-aid on a bullet wound, but it can't hurt the Greek export economy. If you are looking for an inexpensive soap that produces a pleasing scent, give the Papoutsanis aromatic soaps a try.

Claus Porto Large Shea Butter Bar Soap - 12.34 oz

There are many choices of fragrance for this soap, and I chose the Sandalwood combination. What a wonderful smell! And the soaps are so beautifully wrapped that you can give them as gifts just as they are. The gift set is really nice, too.

If you have a department store or specialty store that sells these nearby, I recommend that you go down and smell the fragrances yourself and choose your favorite. I like the Sandalwood and Grapefruit fig the best.

Bisous De Provence Lavender Triple Milled Soap Enriched with Shea Butter
