I have used Savon de Marseille as a shampoo for decades (it's legendary in France for making your hair shiny) and am so grateful that now that I no longer live in Europe it is still easy to find on line and affordable. The dry version lasts a very long time and I prefer it but as long as it is the original centuries old variety (I don't use the newer scented varieties) I'm a happy girl!

Wonderful soap overall, not as drying as other castile soaps and helps get rid of body pimples. Not the best I've ever used, however. It's still a tiny bit drying and doesn't smell the best. However, it's one of the best performing soaps I've used so far regardless.

Non Soap Skin Cleanser - 16 oz - Liquid

The problem with so many non-soap products is they don't clean skin well enough and they're not clean rinsing. Meaning whatever they're made of however gentle is clogging and does not rinse off the skin thoroughly, which in itself is irritating to skin. On top of it I have found many natural-type non-soap products very bad for the shower drain with their tendency to gunk and build up. For my easily irritated combination-oily skin I need cleanser to both clean and rinse really well AND not irritate my skin. (And not give my shower a slow drain!) This Nutribiotic product performs in that way better than any cleanser I've found since I started searching for the perfect cleanser in my teens 25 years ago. I wish more brick and mortar stores carried it but the shipping for the gallon size wasn't bad on the website I found.

This is a gentle liquid soap (although the company calls it a "skin cleanser") that you can use for your hands and body. I used up two bottles in a about two months as a hand soap, only using it occasionally on my face. The pump is great, very practical. The scent is light. This soap contains a small amount of grapefruit seed extract, which is supposed to kill germs naturally. This bottle is larger than your average bottle of bathroom hand soap. This cleanser foams up quite nicely. It doesn't dry my skin out or leave any strong lasting fragrances on my skin. I will be buying this again.

I have had sores on my skin for years and nothing that the doctor has given me has worked. This product made a difference the first time I used it and my skin is clearing. I use it with an oatmeal moisturizer.

I like this brand of non soap, but noticed an alcohol smell & there isn't alcohol listed in the ingredients. It's a little more drying than I'd like, but prefer the non soap product over others.

I've been re-ordering this product for several years, having very sensitive skin but still wanting a cleanser that will lather and make me feel clean afterward. It's not oily, doesn't leave a residue, and has a barely there scent. Can't recommend it enough.

Vermont Soap Organics - Shea Butter Bar 3.5 Oz Bar Soap

I use organic or natural soaps because I'm trying to eliminate chemicals from my life. I figure I can't do much about what I breath in, but I can control the products I use on my body. The Vermont Soaps are a great line. They have light fragrances and don't overpower like some other soaps I've used. They leave my skin soft and supple. If you're looking to control the chemicals in your life, try the Vermont Soaps. You won't be disappointed.

Vermont soap doesn't compromise on their products; they stick to the least harmful ingredients. However, in this case the formulation just isn't working for me. The smell is somewhat off-putting, the bars are very small and they start off with really sharp edges. The soap doesn't lather up all that well but I can forgive that because i know a lot of the 'lather' from normal soaps is due to harsh chemicals.

So even though I only can give this one 3 stars I remain a fan of Vermont Soap in general.

Dial Basics HypoAllergenic Dermatologist Tested Bar Soap, 3.2 oz (36 Bars)

Most soaps are so harsh on my sinuses that they cause sinus infections. Even other so-called hypo-allergenic soaps irritate me, but this soap does not bother my sinuses at all. On top of my sinus issue, I also have oily Irish skin and a lot of soaps don't cut it, but this one is great for that too. I love this soap.

I have been using this product, and find that the little bars work best as a hand washing item. The bars are just the right size for a quick grab at the sink or basin. The lather is amazing, and the scents are clean. I used the first one, and probably got 45 hand washings from it. The box will last me a long time. The soaps leave a pleasant fragrance on the hands, and leaves the skin very soft. I really love them.

The new Camay doesn't smell quite the same as the old, beloved, cult favorite Camay. The soap is soft and gentle as it ever was. It's still pale pink and pretty, and the suds are soft and rich. I was happy to find it at Amazon -the price is lower than it is elsewhere -and I'll order it again. But that wonderful old fragrance will just have to stay a fond childhood memory.

I may be one of the few people out there that feels strongly about bar soap. While I don't want a soap to dry out my skin (who would?), I also want it to actually clean me (doesn't seem to much to ask). I think most soaps go one way or the other (ie beauty bars are moisturizing, yet either leave a film on your skin... or you deodorant gets left behind; some soaps are just too harsh!). Camay was all my grandmother used, and I guess she knew what she was doing. And, it may be pink, but my husband says that's the only girly thing about it (ie, it doesn't smell overly perfumey). Happy I can find it on Amazon, as it's often not available in our local stores.

I was so pleased to find my favorite bath bars again. Camay is a wonderful,

fragrant soap. And it lasts a long time, isn't mushy like most bars today. I

gave it a 5 star rating, would give it 10 if I could. The price is great too.
