I never thought I would be writing a review on bar soap, but I felt compelled to do so after purchasing this soap. There are many shower gels for men on the market today, but not many options when it comes to bar soap. I have tried Dove's bar soap for men and thought it was decent. I came across Mistral's soap for men while browsing around on Amazon one day. Although a bit pricey for a single bar of soap, I decided to give Mistral Black Amber a try. All I can say is this soap is awesome. It smells great and the scent lasts for some time after you shower. The scent is very masculine. I have received many compliments from women after they have smelled this soap. The bar lasts a while too. Highly recommended!!!

This is a great bar of soap. It leaves me feeling squeaky clean even in the hard water where I live. This soap also lathers like crazy! Wish I had softer water to really take advantage of it. It's a huge bar so it should last a long time and the scent smells good and is quite strong,not colonge strong but it stays on me for some time. Who ever tells you it's scent is weak must have nasal problems, it's actually a little stronger than I would prefer but it's such a good soap I'll live with it.

I wanted a nice scented soap to keep clean and smell good because the girlfriend kept telling me I smell like meat. Not any more. She likes it. I like it. Doesn't smell like designer crap or fake fruity stuff the fragrance isn't over bearing, is actually manly smelling (in a good way) and the soap leaves the skin feeling clean and without residue. Good for the professional modern man, because smelling like sweat stinks after awhile.

I put the bar in my bathroom and I can still smell it weeks later. The smell is very mild but noticeable. My wife can smell it on me all day, although I can't smell it so it's not overpowering to the point I want to gag. The subtle hint of sandalwood is great
