Roger & Gallet Carnation Soap

A hard milled quality soap with a pleasant fragrance, beautifully wrapped in beautiful box. If you have trouble with regular soaps irritating your hands, try this brand. It is gentle and worth the price. It was nearly sold out around Christmas, I think I bought the last four boxes and had to order from two different companies. I mention that so you will know it is a popular soap and for good reason. They were sent in record time and made it in time for gift giving!

Gallet Carnation soap (and the powder too,which you no longer make). The smell is different. I like it, but I don't like it as much. I wish it smelled like it used to.

Also the soap is smaller that is not as important to me as the smell, however.

This is the fourth year in a row that I have ordered this soap. It is NOT the originial R&G carnation soap, rather some goofy rose fragrance. Terrible. I know that I'm ordering the right one, but the one delivered is not it.

Although this soap is difficult to find, it is definitely worth the effort. Whether you keep the bars in your linen closet to scent your things or scrub up with it at bath time, it lends a wonderful, spicy carnation smell to everything. It is hard-milled, so it lasts a long time, too. This is one of the little luxuries that I always want to allow myself. Now, if they only made powder and lotion to match!
