I received a bar of this soap for Christmas. Before I used it, I kept it in the linen closet, and it made the closet smell great.

I wasn't disappointed when I finally used it in the shower. The fragrance is subtle but clean and fresh. My skin feels good, and the fragrance lasts a long time.

I hope this soap sticks around a long time (it says it's a limited edition) because I'd like to keep one bar in the linen closet and one in the shower.

I bought this shampoo because my daughter used it and she recommended it to me. I like it too. However, on the long use the hair becomes more oily. It may be a good thing because it is not dried out as with the use of some regular shampoo, but it was not very good for me. What I am doing now is that I wash my hair with this bar soap shampoo first and then I use a regular shampoo and rinse the hair. In this case the hair is not so oily and not dried out. It works good for me. I like this shampoo.

The Crabtree and Evelyn shave soap works extremely well. I have been wet shaving for over 2 years now, and this is by far the best quality shave soap that I have used. The soap lubricates my shave extremely well, and allows me to get a closer shave than the Col. Conk soap that I used before. It also leaves my face feeling soft and supple after use. The smell is similar to sandalwood, and leaves a light scent for about an hour or two after your shave. It also comes in a nice wood bowl that makes it easier to store and use that using a mug. All in all I highly recommend this product.

This was the first shaving soap I've used since switching to "wet shaving". The soap lathers up rather easily and has a nice smell, but it leaves my skin feeling a bit dry. I wouldnt buy this again and will probably try switching to a cream.

I am a 23 year old woman, who has been struggling with acne, acne scars, and blemishes since the age of 11. I have tried many OTC products, and even some prescription products, that have done nothing but made my skin worst. I have acne prone skin, which will have spontaneous breakouts and leave scars on my face for at LEAST 3 months before beginning to fade. Once I began using Palmer's Shea butter soap, I began to notice more even toned skin in about 1 month of using it. A lot of the acne scars on my face(which I've had for years) began to fade and disappear. There are still some scars, but they are very little, and fewer in numbers. I love the way my skin looks now, compared to the dalmation spots I had on my cheeks before. I use this product once a day, it doesn't make my face oily (I already have oily skin) and afterwards I just apply moisturizer on top. I'm excited to see where my skin will be in the next 2 months. I will give another update soon.

I really like Palmer's products. I try to rotate between cocoa and shea butter. Not sure which one is the best, but I am very happy with both.

I never thought I would rave the way I'm about to, but this soap is just heavenly. It lathers like no other, it smells like no other, rinses like no other, and the topper was I felt like a baby's bottom when I stepped out of the shower. Goat Milk & Oatmeal Handmade Soap - 100% Natural

I got this in order to help my 22 month old son's moderate eczema. I wanted something natural, free of toxins, and gentle. This fits the bill. Goat's milk and oatmeal help a lot, so this seems to be the next best thing to giving him edible baths... and you don't even have to scrub the tub afterwards!We just got this today, so we've only used this once. However, not only did it not exasperate the problem, his outbreak patches actually seem a bit softer already! We follow this up with calendula oil, aloe, and coconut oil. This soap has a pleasant, fresh, old fashioned 'soap' smell. Very gentle and clean. Yay for handmade soap!

Don't be too put off by the shipping price. It's actually a larger than average bar. If you use natural/organic products regularly, you're no stranger to paying $10+ on bodywash. Bars last a lot longer than liquid, anyway. Shipping was faster than expected, too.

If you're dealing with eczema, then you know it's an uphill battle. I'll update this in two months to let you know how our regimen is going. So far, recommended!

Ok, so it's an odd shape if you're used to a bar, but the "chiseled" border edges actually make it easier to hold than a bar of soap and (over time) it will wear down to more of a bar soap. This soap is truly wonderful and lives up to its good reputation. It leaves you feeling clean, without the fragrances that so many soaps on the market have and which dry the skin out. Someone gave me a gift of Savon de Marseille more than a year ago and I just finished it. It's great for dry skin and for value it couldn't be better. I had a hard time cutting it up into pieces, so I just left it in its original shape, which is probably better, though it looks a little clunky on the wooden soap support. I don't mind. I will have it for a long time. I have nothing negative to say about this soap.

My kids and I have been using this as a face wash for years. It cleanses thoroughly and rinses completely and leaves my skin super soft and not "stripped". My skin has never looked better. I LOVE this brand of soap, but do not buy from this seller. What I ordered (according to the description listed here) was a glass bottle of the Figue soap, with a pump as shown. My soap showed up in a cheap plastic bottle, no pump and the inside of the box was all soapy from a broken seal. I'm so sad, its going back today.

Yes this soap is costly. I purchased a bottle as something special for me. I will now purchase this product always. The fragrance is wonderful, the soap is the highest quality.

The cost is offset by the the smaller amount required to wash hands with.
