Ok, so it's an odd shape if you're used to a bar, but the "chiseled" border edges actually make it easier to hold than a bar of soap and (over time) it will wear down to more of a bar soap. There's no regular soap out there that will moisturize your dry skin better than this soap. It feels great & you'll enjoy using it every day.

This soap is truly wonderful and lives up to its good reputation. It leaves you feeling clean, without the fragrances that so many soaps on the market have and which dry the skin out. Someone gave me a gift of Savon de Marseille more than a year ago and I just finished it. It's great for dry skin and for value it couldn't be better. I had a hard time cutting it up into pieces, so I just left it in its original shape, which is probably better, though it looks a little clunky on the wooden soap support. I don't mind. I will have it for a long time. I have nothing negative to say about this soap.

I have never actually used this soap on the body. I buy it to rub on laundry stains before washing. It's better than any spray or chemical product out there. It's a must have in my laundry room.
