I got this soap before I got the water filter for my shower. I would describe it as hard and residuey. But after I put my water filter in and started bathing with purer water this soap is awsome! It moisterizes the skin so well and has a great scent. I would recomend this to people with dry skin. Also great to use with a luffa or scrubby gloves because it lathers very well.

I have used many of the Nubian Heritage soaps and I like this one the best. It lathers really well, smells divine and makes my skin feel really soft and clean afterwards. Amazon is the only place I've found this particular soap and I hope they continue to carry it. I've given several bars as gifts to friends and people enjoy getting it. One thing to note is that because it has chocolate in it, it will stain light colored wash cloths so get a darker one to use just with this. The Nubian Heritage African Black soap bar is the same way. It's worth getting a darker colored washcloth to use this soap since it's really great! Also I've found with all of the Nubian Heritage soaps it's a good idea to use a plastic (or other kind) soap box. They last about a month that way otherwise they tend to melt away rather quickly.

My fiancee and I order our soap from Nubian Heritage all the time! Best soap we have ever used! I discovered it 4 years ago, then went I met my now fiancee, I tried to get him to love it too. He thought it was "weird hippie soap" at first until he tried it and now he's obsessed! It smells amazing and cleans your skin like NOTHING else! I swear by it.

I, myself, am scottish so I have very fair and sensitive skin. Most soaps either dry out my skin or make me itchy and blotchy. No Nubian Heritage product has EVER given me a bad reaction. I always step out of the shower feeling amazing! I love having a skin product I can trust!

This soap is ridiculously hard to find; I just happened across it at a beauty supply store when visiting home. It smells like chocolate and hazelnut kind of like Nutella. It's smooth and creamy, lathers really well, and gets your skin clean without stripping. My skin feels supple and soft after this, and I don't necessarily have to add a lot of lotion after I clean with this. I love all of Nubian Heritage's soaps; I've tried five flavors so far, and I'd say this is my 3rd favorite after Goat's Milk & Chai and Coconut & Papaya (the other two are African Black Soap, which is also great especially for my face, and Lavender & Wildflowers, which I didn't really like). Next up is the Mango!

Just as a note, though, I don't think the soaps are significantly different in performance and cleansing. It's really just a scent thing. I do think that the chai & goat's milk is a bit more moisturizing than the other scents, but other than that, they're mostly the same so don't despair if you can't find this in stores, just pick up another scent.
