This soap has an intoxicating and pleasingly pungent aroma. Wow. The bar is large and quite heavy for its size. This version does not contain any lavender petals and is therefore very, very smoooth. Love this soap.
About the packaging. Came with the corners of the soap chipped due to poor wrapping. At this price the soap should have had some protective wrapping. As it is, not suitable for gift giving.

I gave this as a birthday gift, The only thing I didn't care for is how it was handled getting to me. I ordered two soaps and they were both dinged up pretty bad. If the soap was just for me I probably wouldn't have cared but it was a gift for someone. They didn't mind either once they took a deep smell of the soap in. "Ahhhhh" they said! I got 5 stars for my gift so I will be giving this product 5 stars! lol I also got the hand cream that went with this.
