once again, impressed with this soap which lightly exfoliates the skin, leaving a nice scent behind.

I ordered several different brands of the same type of soap (Almond or Honey Almond) and Pre de Provence was by far the best for the price. The bars are at least twice as large as other brands for the same price or less. The soap (triple milled) is very hard and long lasting. It feels very nice and doesn't leave any residue. Smells great too!

French milled soap is famous and almost a necessity for someone with sensitive skin. I could not find French milled soap anywhere between San Francisco and San Jose so I tried Amazon. The soap was shipped and received on schedule (2nd day), and the product is amazing. It has a pleasant but not overpowering fragrance. It cleanses thoroughly yet gently (almost sensually). I selected this particular "flavor" for the shea butter but I am actually happier with the honey ingredient. It lathers well yet doesn't "evaporate" under running water. Although it may seem pricey, but as mentioned it lasts a long time so the per diem cost is less than the less expensive soaps. I hgihly recommend this soap. I highly recommend Amazon especially since I don't have to remember to bring my own shopping bag if I had bought it at a local store. (Californians know what I am talking about.)

I was looking forward to using this soap as I love the smell of almond, but I ended up throwing it out after the third time I used it. It smells lovely and is a really nice size bar, but the grains in the soap just tore up my skin. You really don't notice the grains much the first time you use it, but by the third time it was really uncomfortable. And I never thought of my skin as particularly sensitive. The soap also leaves grains in the tub, so it's probably best used in the shower if you like this type of soap.
