Knotty Boy creates a deep cleaning and reliable shampoo. My dreads are about a year old and i have found this shampoo, and other products from KB to be my favorite. just take a blow dryer to the roots of your hair if you have thick locks after washing to remove moisture and prevent rot, or mildew growth. i highly recommend it.

Dried my scalp out like no other. It did make my hair significantly more tousled (the majority of my hair is undreaded) and I believe it did tighten up my dreads somewhat. I use it occasionally on just my dreads, and now i have to use head & shoulders on my scalp since it's falling apart.
