This is a good soap. I do like it and the smell however it didn't seem to work very well for my hair.
I just received a new case of Pears soap. I have been using this soap for over 30 years. I was shocked this morning when I opened the first bar of the new case. It smells awful and left my skin very dry and itchy. Below is a comparison of old and new ingredients. The new ingredient list is a caustic chemical frappe!

Pears soap's formula has changed as of 2009. It is no longer the wonderful, natural product we all knew and loved.
This soap smells just like the perfume and makes my entire body smell delicious without using my perfume. Just a tad longer than a normal bar of soap, but just as seductive as the perfume. I sprayed some on about an hour and a half ago and now the scent seems to have changed again. It is fabulous. I feel like a real monster, just without the Blood and Semen as predicted last year.

This soap is AMAZING! It smells pretty much like the perfume and leaves you feeling clean and smelling like fame! This soap is amazing! At first glance it seemed small but when compared to other bars of soap it is actually kind of big. It certainly does not fit in any of my soap cases. That is the only downside because whenever i want to use it I have to wait for it to dry to wrap it back up and put back into the box. I'd prefer to put it in a case. This soap is actually Bigger in photos, but pretty good sized, it is Limited Edition, and smells JUST like the Shower Gel, This Soap makes your skin soft, and smells like Fane for about 30 minutes afterwards, but with the Shower Gel it lasts for 6 or more Hours on my skin! Definitely will buy more!
Description is a bit misleading stating that there are "3 Packs of Papaya Soap". You only get 1 bar.
These smell great! However, I didn't think mine was as pretty as the picture. The Amethyst geode came in looking more like a regular amethyst. None of the pretty pinks and brown swirls in the pic. I haven't tried mine yet and the other I am using in a gift basket. But the seller was super fast getting this out. And I would buy from them again.
I was glad to find this soap on Amazon. It arrived in a timely manner and made a nice stocking stuffer for Christmas. My family all told me that it brought back lots of "memories" from our childhood. Smells good. Thanks so much.

Purchased this soap because my old school disabled mother-in-law wanted it in the worst way, could not find it stores, swore it was the only soap that got her super clean and the smell was the best. To say the least, she was very unhappy with this fake formula that claims to be the original which she said not only was the soap the size of larger samples, but there also should be a rough grainy feel to the soap and the smell was not the same. The only reason I did not return it is because she said she could live with smell which grew on her and rated one star for that. I think she just wanted to be nice for my effort. The formula has somehow changed and the smell is not the same. These small bars are just slightly larger than hotel bars. Very disappointed. I buy this soap in the Caribbean and it is made by Unilever in Trinidad and Tobago. However, this soap I recently purchased is made in India and a different soap.
I can not beleive no one wrote a review on this soap.I like the smell of lemongrass and the poppy seeds exfoliate,leaving you feeling really clean.This soap have my vote and i will be repurchasing this product again.
The bar is larger than expected, bringing up the value of the product. It came in a nice little box so it looked attractive for a gift basket-previous bars of soap from Upper Canada have come plastic wrapped and slightly less gift-ably attractive so this was a nice change. The smell is a muted maple scent that goes well with the other products in the line-creates a decent lather-very similar I would say to the Warm Honey Nectar, but with maple overtones.
First off, this soap DOES NOT lighten skin..so if you want lighter skin or even-toned skin..it is not for you..I KNOW this because I talked to a MAKARI representative who said it is STRICTLY for moisturizing! The makari antiseptic soap is what helps lighten and even-out the skin tone.
Effective soap which moisturizes and at the same time exfoliates. They use natural and quality ingredients in this soap which you can see in every inch of the bar and it's anybody guess that it is well worth six dollars.Has a pleasant scent but not a heavily perfumed by any means which might disppoint a few but regardless try this soap and also every other product from Melvita. Surprised why the French Melvita products are not getting a lot of reviews. I have been using many products (Deodarant, Moisturizing face creams,face wash, Aftershave,other soaps) of Melvita and they are natural, effective,top notch and a real value for money.

I love dial soap it cleans my body. and sometime when i have a cut it washes the germs away and my cut heels a lot faster. that my opinion i have been using dial since i was thirteen and will continue to use it for many more years to come. thanks for making dial soap. it has become my best friend. try it you will love it i do.

It smells gentle, and leaves a subtle fragrance on my skin and the suds are lavish and thick and rinses off very easy and there is no residue left on my skin. Recommended for anyone who wants to have a wonderful bathing experience.
I love Ivory. I have always loved Ivory. It is one of the few commercial brand soaps I can actually use. It doesn't dry out my skin. It doesn't have a nauseating smell. It is very affordable. The formula doesn't change all the time. The only soap better than Ivory for my skin is the expensive handmade cold-press soaps. I even use unopened bars when I pack away the winter clothes to keep everything smelling fresh.
