Sebamed Baby Cleansing Bar 100g

I have used this product for over two years and have finally gotten rid of itchy skin after every shower. It is a VERY mild product and has improved the surface appearance of my skin. Also I like the clean smell. Arizona Carol

Recently i have been studying on the PH of skin being 5.5, and since Sebamed was the only one to say their products are 5.5, i decided to give it a go. After 3 days of the cleansing bar i can say that it made my skin worse.

Before i used sebamed cleaning bar i took a close-up picture of my face, after 3 days i took another picture of my face. Clearly i can see a difference in my skin and the after photo showed alot more blemishes such as tiny red bumps and more cystic acne.

I got atleast 3 tiny tiny cystic acne pimples after using this, and i have like 8% more redness near my problem area. My skin is really fair, so people with stronger skin may LOVE this product so im not holding any grudges.

Sebamed's smell is really nice, but im afraid it has to many chemicals, colorants, purfumes etc. for my sensitive skin. I LOVE ph 5.5 soap though dont get me wrong, after using a ph 5.5 soap i notice i am less dry feeling but unfortunatly this bar has way to many things in it to be good for my skin... its really sensitive to ingredients such as synthetics.

The cleansing bar while effective has a very odd smell, almost offensive. I will say this for the bar, it will redefine "mild" for you if you have only tried mild soap bars in the states. The odd smell will sadly keep me from making a repeat purchase.
