Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Botanical Cleansing Bar with Tea Tree and Aloe

I got this soap first at Nordstrom when I was looking for as many skincare products with Tea Tree Oil on them.

I really liked the soap and was happy to find it here in Amazon!

It does not dry your skin, it has a pleasant smell that is subtle not overpowering.

It cleans well.

Most importantly, it is hypoallergenic. I am a person who has very sensitive skin I get a bad rash with cheap soap (I am talking public bathroom soap). This soap is very gentle.

I think it has also helped clear my skin it is a long term beenfit of tea tree oil.

Yes, it is expensive, but it is a very good soap for those with sensitive skin.

I tried the Paul Mitchell soap. I didn't like it. It was not gentle and it formed a awful foam and left my skin feeling weird. The bar also went down faster than this one. (With this one you get a nice chunky block of soap).

the kids got this with many other care packages for their dad for fathers day and he liked them all including this item.

I'm not sure if large pores is an accurate description, but a friend of mine has had 2 derm abrasion treatments, has tried the African soap sold on Amazon, and nothing has worked as well as this. I'm serious! Her pores are almost invisible after using this soap for a couple of months. Let me know if I'm right in a couple of months in the text comments. You can thank me later. Trust me, it works!

Free and Clear Glycerin Soap

I have really sensitive skin and have a lot of trouble finding products I can use on my skin. Most soaps irritate my skin, but once I tried this one, I LOVED IT. My skin felt clean and radiant. I won't ever use another product!

If you are also into organic products, this is great to try too.

Alpen Secrets Orange Mandarin Glycerin Soap, 3.67-Ounce (Pack of 4)

Hmmm, how do I review a soap. Here goes (based on the things I look for in a soap)

1. Smell Mild citrus smell, not very strong

2. Rinses Away Seems to rinse off easily without residue (we have fairly hard water though)

3. Bar lasting time Bar seems to dissolve fairly quickly compared to other glycerin soaps, but this probably attributed to its lathering characteristic.

4. Lathering This one is probably one of the better lathering glycerin soaps I've tried.

5. Cleaning Ability Haven't had any problems getting dirt, oil, or anything else off.

One last tip that I have for glycerin soap users is rather than throw the bar away when it gets too small to effectively use, just get it and a new bar nicely warmed/lathered up and stick the two together and let sit until the next day and it effectively give you the ability to use 100% of the bar with little/no waste.

This is good glycerine soap with all of the benefits of glycerine soapit doesn't try your skin, doesn't leave a residue on your skin, all of that.

The downside is the smell of it. Men will understand this reference, women probably not so much. Do you know what a urinal puck is? The little chemical puck in urinals that deodorizes public restrooms? You know how that smells? Sharp, acrid, fake citrus smell? This soap smells exactly like that. This soap is a "made in China" product, they must also make urinal pucks, or at least, buy the scent used from the same place. "Orange mandarin" is a pretty big stretch.

I tried to order the citrus scented soap from Amazon, same brand as this one, but it was out of stock, I took a gamble on this orange scented onethat was a mistake. It was cheap so I don't feel too bad about pitching it, but pitch it I will. Life's too short to smell urinal puck in the shower each morning. Having to smell it at highway rest stops once in a while is enough, thank you.

I was disappointed in this product because I was looking for a 100% Glycerin Soap. I did not care for the smell. It needed to have a stronger citrus scent. I did not care for the way it made my skin feel. It was more of a "soap" feel than a "Glycerin Soap" feel. Very little Glycerin in the product.

Vermont Soap Organics - Shea Butter Bar 3.5 Oz Bar Soap

I use organic or natural soaps because I'm trying to eliminate chemicals from my life. I figure I can't do much about what I breath in, but I can control the products I use on my body. The Vermont Soaps are a great line. They have light fragrances and don't overpower like some other soaps I've used. They leave my skin soft and supple. If you're looking to control the chemicals in your life, try the Vermont Soaps. You won't be disappointed.

Vermont soap doesn't compromise on their products; they stick to the least harmful ingredients. However, in this case the formulation just isn't working for me. The smell is somewhat off-putting, the bars are very small and they start off with really sharp edges. The soap doesn't lather up all that well but I can forgive that because i know a lot of the 'lather' from normal soaps is due to harsh chemicals.

So even though I only can give this one 3 stars I remain a fan of Vermont Soap in general.

BLACK and WHITE Black Soap

This soap really does work it makes your skin super soft and fades away blemishes, but if you have stuburn scaring and want to see fast results use palmer fade lotion along with the soap You'll get amazing results quick, oh f.y.I the soap is messy.

I am an AA with oily skin. I have been using this soap for 2 months and am quite happy with the results. First let me say, if you are looking for overnight results, this is not the product. It took roughly 3 weeks of use before I began to see any results. My mom recommended this soap and I was quite skeptical at first just from trying other soaps and products to no avail. While I do have acne this soap does nothing for it. However, it does help with my blemishes caused from acne. After 2 months of use, my blemishes are about 80% lighter. One bar has lasted me 2 months and within another month, I expect my skin to be completely clear. It lathers very easily and has a nice aroma.

When the item arrived in a package, the smell of the soap was sooooo goood!. It's not over-powering unless you are sensitive this could smell pretty awful to you, but this smelled like the rain and I love it!. When I first used this, I was taken back by the color it left on my soap holder...of course I knew it was going to be black but I didn't know it was gonna leave black residue on it. It's easily washable, luckily I found my portable soap holder and I just leave the cover on it so it doesn't dry out and makes it last longer when moisture tries to get to it. Overall, this product made my skin feel very soft and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry at all. Best soap I have ever used. The one thing I wish they made, was a liquid form. I have other people in the household who also love using this soap, so having a liquid body soap would work wonders!. But I'm sure having liquid soap wouldn't last long as much as the bar soap.

Soap Witch Hazel 3.25 Ounces

I am a soapmaker and I purchase soaps to see what they are like compared to mine. When they claimed that the PH was close to your own skin I found it hard to believe. I purchased the soap and tried it. It is a very nice bubbly, moisturizing and nicely scented soap. PH? Like most handmade soaps the PH is a 9. Your skins PH is anywhere between a 4.5 and 6. So, It is very hard to get a soaps PH close to your skin. Commercial soaps Ph is much higher, so handmade soap is what you want. I just felt a little deceived when I read their claims on another site.

Lemongrass Soap with Lemon Essential Oil (Stimulant & Cooling Soap)

This soap smells like lemon meringue pie! It feels smooth, has a mild lather, and cleans very well as all NHC soaps do. The first time I used it I loved how strong the lemon smell was and how soft it left my skin but after using it a few times you kind of get over the scent, so I'm glad I had the Brazilian Expresso (my fave) and others to rotate with. The bar is big, so you can cut in half or in thirds and share with friends/family or just store them away for later use( I kept mine in my dresser drawers so my clothes smelled like the soaps). I was expecting to get a tingling feeling from this but I didn't. This is a good soap for lemon lovers but it would be a GREAT soap if it had some type of mint added to it. Next time I buy this I will pair it with a natural mint soap.

Sebamed Baby Cleansing Bar 100g

I have used this product for over two years and have finally gotten rid of itchy skin after every shower. It is a VERY mild product and has improved the surface appearance of my skin. Also I like the clean smell. Arizona Carol

Recently i have been studying on the PH of skin being 5.5, and since Sebamed was the only one to say their products are 5.5, i decided to give it a go. After 3 days of the cleansing bar i can say that it made my skin worse.

Before i used sebamed cleaning bar i took a close-up picture of my face, after 3 days i took another picture of my face. Clearly i can see a difference in my skin and the after photo showed alot more blemishes such as tiny red bumps and more cystic acne.

I got atleast 3 tiny tiny cystic acne pimples after using this, and i have like 8% more redness near my problem area. My skin is really fair, so people with stronger skin may LOVE this product so im not holding any grudges.

Sebamed's smell is really nice, but im afraid it has to many chemicals, colorants, purfumes etc. for my sensitive skin. I LOVE ph 5.5 soap though dont get me wrong, after using a ph 5.5 soap i notice i am less dry feeling but unfortunatly this bar has way to many things in it to be good for my skin... its really sensitive to ingredients such as synthetics.
