First of all, I don't want produce with parabens, that's an ingredient I don't want in any products

My family uses.. So After reading this is a natural soap with no harsh ingrediants further research this product made in France

SUPER lather, the coconut Shea I love, reminds me of when I was a kid and visited my Uncles beach home in rehobeth

Beach, after a day in the sun an outside shower was the coolest thing. This has a crisp clean beachy smell, not a coconutty smell as much as that bleachy beachie smell. My husband said he felt the same way about it! I use the warmvanilla first to sooth my over tired mind. Then follow up with the coconut one. I hope I can one day afford to give these as gifts, new ones not the ones I used already; ha-ha

I just finished using this soap and liked it. All Pre de Provence 8 oz bars are made with skin softening shea butter and hard milled to last 1 2 months. This is a good fragrance for men kind of cologne-ish. Again, I use these soaps to shave with, instead of shaving cream. My face come out nice and moisturized and the I get a good close shave.

I bought this soap because I've tried many of Pro de Provence's scents and have loved most and at least liked them all, but this one was just plain awful. The soap itself is not cheap quality, as far as quality of the cleaning and conditioning of your skin goes, but the scent smells like a bad fake vanilla. It smells waxy instead of nice. Maybe I just got a bad bar. Still I love Pro de Provence and intend to buy their other scents that do smell good. It's a shame, really, because this scent seemed to moisturize better than some of the other ones.

The original description did not include 'vanilla woods', so I thought it was unscented shea soap. Arrived and couldn't use, don't care for vanilla, far to sweet for myself and friend who I offered it too. Eventually found a recipient for it. I don't consider myself sensitive to odors (work in medical field with all sorts of people and body fluids) and found this scent unappealing.
