It has a mild scent to it, last a pretty good while. I remember when this soap came in individual bars wrapped in paper. Think the soap used to be square shaped, now its made oval. Decent soap for the price.

ok so this is soap. I use it to make liquid hand soap (grate it, and heat it on low heat until all flakes are dissolved, mix with 5-10 c water, depending on your preference) it made about 50 oz. worth from one bar, which is really cheap. I will then put it in my foam soap pump, and this package of soap will last me at least a few years! Yay, I love saving money! and it's antibacterial too :)

I first bought this soap at a organic beauty boutique shop when I decided to use products with only natural organic ingredients, Erbaviva soap is design for babies so it is extremely gentle. I really love the soap and I am a full grown adult. It works very well and smells wonderful. Some may find a $12 bar of soap expensive but I believe it is well worth it as I am trying to be more eco-friendly by using product without harmful ingredients and product that are made with less ingredients. For those of you that don't like this as a shampoo... You are probably using silicone hair products!! Most sulfate free shampoos have a hard time removing certain cones!!! I've been on a silicone free regimen and this shampoo has given me the best hair days. I actually have to wash much less! It's very nice on my skin too. It has a medium lather, wish it were more but IT IS a sulfate free shampoo so I can't ask too much (as far as suds go). I'd love to see more scents such as the earthy one mentioned by another reviewer. Great product!

Love this stuff. I've had rashes and psoriosis for years and this soap has worked wonders. Even my feet feel like I've had a pedicure and I use far less moisturizer and I even wash my hair with it. Found at Whole Foods a bit cheaper but don't have a store in my area so I will be buying it here on Amazon. My only complaint is that it doesn't lather very well but I added some Dr. Bronners and that helped.

I just finished using this soap and liked it. All Pre de Provence 8 oz bars are made with skin softening shea butter and hard milled to last 1 2 months. This is a good fragrance for men kind of cologne-ish. Again, I use these soaps to shave with, instead of shaving cream. My face come out nice and moisturized and the I get a good close shave.

I bought this soap because I've tried many of Pro de Provence's scents and have loved most and at least liked them all, but this one was just plain awful. The soap itself is not cheap quality, as far as quality of the cleaning and conditioning of your skin goes, but the scent smells like a bad fake vanilla. It smells waxy instead of nice. Maybe I just got a bad bar. Still I love Pro de Provence and intend to buy their other scents that do smell good. It's a shame, really, because this scent seemed to moisturize better than some of the other ones.

The original description did not include 'vanilla woods', so I thought it was unscented shea soap. Arrived and couldn't use, don't care for vanilla, far to sweet for myself and friend who I offered it too. Eventually found a recipient for it. I don't consider myself sensitive to odors (work in medical field with all sorts of people and body fluids) and found this scent unappealing.

Dudu-Osun African Black Soap (6 pack)

This dudu-osun is a very good bar of soap and I usually pay $4 a bar plus my entire family uses it so I normally get it in packs of 24. My teenage son loves it because it keeps his skin clear and even toned. He had very dark acne scars but they have faded so much that you can hardly tell they were ever there not to mentioned his face is probably a shade if not two lighter than before. I have a 10yr old son (who is Albino) and a 9yr old daughter (who has extra dry skin). They both use it with no issue and my hubby who works in a chemical plant loves how clean he feels out of the shower. When anyone is bathing, you will know it, the entire house smells like a very tropical place.

I considered giving it three stars because I can't use this soap, it gives me a burning sensation all over my body and my face is irritated for days afterwards. But since my cheeks, nose & chin have become so smooth in the little time I did, I'd like to give it a 4.5. My pores have practically vanished and I have some acne scarring that's improved significantly. I do use the dudu-oson from time to time on my face knowing that even though I am going to pay for it, my skin will be glowing.

I bought this product after reading the great reviews! I am absolutely ecstatic about this soap. I purchased it with the 100% pure raw african shea butter. I wash my face and body with the soap then slather on some shea butter. My skin was noticeably brighter, smoother, and clearer after the first use! I battle with sensitive, acne prone skin and have tried so many products in the past but the dudu osun and shea butter seem to be the right combination for my skin. Definitely recommend the dudu-osun soap and suggest pairing it with the shea butter!

fyishea butter is non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores or make you break out! Some reviewers complained about stinging after use of the soap but I did not have any irritation! :)

Pomega5 Bulgarian Rose Moisturizing Beauty Bar

UPDATE 2: GREAT STUFF> It's been over a month and now my face is in love. Smooth, clean skin without the drying effects I first noticed. I have not had any flakiness in my tzone like I did prior to this product. The film I noticed previously was the excess oil my skin had been producing. It took a little bit for it to disappear. Mostly after a little exfoliation and continued use of this bar. What really gets this bar working is storing it in a travel soap holder. Doing so releases the natural oils to the surface of the bar. Don't be confused by the word oils either. This product does not leave a greasy feel and it fact, does quite the opposite.

UPDATE 1 week later: still not worth it. Leaves a film. Not quite sure who would benefit from this kind of bar.
