This soap does a lot as a pore tightener and helps to even tone. Very pleasant smell and consistency. However, I've found it's very drying to the skin.

Castile Liquid Soap Organic-Peppermint 16 Ounces
This was THE soap to use by all of us former hippies back in the late sixties. Like a couple of other reviewers, I've been using this stuff for four decades now it obviously works for me!It's amazing how the best is usually the most simple: just olive oil and peppermint extract. This soap deep cleans; rinses off well; and leaves no filmy feeling. Effective and reliable that's what I'm looking for in a product. It leaves you feeling clean and refreshed; it must be living up to the claims made by the folks at Dr. Bronner's.
I buy a gallon every other year that's how long it lasts. Must be diluted (Dr. Bronner's recommends 18:1 but I just eyeball it, maybe 6:1) and it goes on forever.
I wouldn't know about this soap as a multi-use cleaning product use it on my body only. But folks claim it's great on furniture, floors, clothes, dishes, you-name-it; must be pretty good stuff.
Highly recommended give it a try!

You read the bottle and it's like...whoaaaah...is this guy under surveillance? Does he know where I live? Am I going blind just by reading this?...
That's the after-effect when you read a Magic Soap bottle.
The stuff in the bottle is just as wacked, but in a good way. This 'S' seriously cleans.
Grass? Mud? Blood? Yup.
Weird bathroom stains? Icky stove stains? Absolutely disappeared.
I clean my Diva Cup with this soap, and my Cup is stain free after many years of use. (Amazon sells Diva Cups, check em' out)
I clean my CAST IRON with this stuff. It gets grease gone, done, outta there, afterlife.

This soap is very concentrated. I use it in a liquid hand soap dispenser, diluting about 1 part soap to 10 parts water lathers real good on the hands!I also use it in the shower as well, by diluting 10 to 1 and filling up an old shampoo container. It works both as a shampoo and for lathering on the skin.
The soap is probably a little more oily than your used to, but it leaves your hands and skin really, really soft.
The peppermint is what gives the soap some "snap". It's really quite strong so dilution is necessary. The peppermint is really vitalizing.
Apparently there are many other uses for this soap (diluted). Some people use it as a general purpose cleaner and others for brushing their teeth (no thanks).
However, this soap goes a long, long way so it can really save you money. Just as a hand soap in the bathroom and for shower use (both hair and body) I could probably get several years out of a 16 oz. container. Probably works out to be a third the price of average budget shampoo and/or liquid hand soap so don't let the initial price disturb you.

I ordered this along with a 32oz bottle of the tea tree variant. I mix this with the tea tree for my shampoo as well as for my Shih tzu's coat. It leaves his coat super clean but soft and smelling so good. The peppermint helps with his skin itch. And I like the tingly feeling on my scalp after I shampoo.mi definitely recommend this to those who would like to try out a more natural. Based shampoo
