Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Pure-Castile Soap, 18-in-1 Hemp Peppermint, 32-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

These bottles are $ 15 at the vitamin shop...when they have them in stock. So 2 for $ 21 is, shall we say, awesome!

This soap is like an air conditioner for the skin. It wakes you up in the shower and you smell so minty fresh when done! It does leave your skin dry, so to combat this I use (in the winter) the Body Shop Scrubbing oil and (in the summer) Skin so Soft oil (to ward off mosquitoes) which will stop the skin from drying and seal in that shower moisture.

But I wouldn't recommend using this soap for the face, even if you have oily skin. It would dry out the face.

I started using Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap when I went organic two years ago. It is a bit pricier than other soaps, but sometimes I like to treat myself. I use it as a shower gel and to make it stretch a bit longer, I mix equal parts soap with water in another bottle and it works just as well because the soap is very concentrated. The peppermint is very minty and refreshing especially when you wake up in the morning and leaves your skin tingly and clean. You can also use this soap to wash dishes, the floor, and clothes. It's all natural and does not contain any sodium laurel sulfate, which can dry out the skin and potentially cause even more serious damage. I highly recommend this product. I also like their bar soaps.

Although overall I do like the product, I have noticed after several weeks of use that it has started to irritate the more sensitive skin areas (underarms, face and nether-regions). After not using it on those areas for a few days, the irritation did go away.

I may be in the minority on this my skin may be overly sensitive to one or more of the ingredients but it may not be perfect for everyone.

You cannot possibly go wrong with Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps. Well, maybe you can. I don't recommend that anyone with a decent amount of hair use this product as a shampoo. I thought I would never be able to comb my hair again. Otherwise, it is awesome.

I've heard about this stuph for years. Before I actually started using it.

In 1997 I bought a quart (32oz) bottle to use at my virgin trip to Burning Man, because it was eco-friendly and versatile. I could wash myself, my clothing, & my dishes.....and eventually used it to wash the playa dust off my car when I returned home.

I was hooked.

This is the prefect soap for use with Hard water, it also leaves you feeling clean beyond what regular soap can do (with no soap scum or filmy feeling on you or the shower/tub!).

For personal bathing I recommend diluting 50/50 with water. I use it to wash my hair, but Dr Bronner's alone makes my hair/scalp dry; so I follow up with conditioner/conditioning shampoo.

Even diluted for bathing, less than ONE TABLESPOON can do your entire body.....one bottle for just bathing can last almost a year!

I started bathing my kids with it as an alternative to the expensive Baby Soap. One Half-Ounce (~10ml=10cc) is enough for a full bathtub and get 2 clean kids.

Another side benefit is that after bathing, your bathroom smells absolutely Wonderful!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas online, and when I received it, I was very surprised to find that this is not a regular art set like I had thought, but rather a bath toy. I had a spinner art set when I was younger that came with paint and papers, and it was so much fun. But this does not come with paint, it comes with soap for the bath. After looking at this item again, I noticed that if you look REALLY close at the picture, you can make out that it says "Play Soap", but I think they should make that clear in the product description. Some parents may like this better than the paint, because it probably makes for easier clean up, but I would have rather had the paint. I don't usually write reviews, but I just wanted other people to know what this product is before buying it, so you don't end up surprised like I did.

I was very disappointed when I received this item. It is a bath toy not an arts and crafts toy. I thought I was ording a spin art set like the one I had when I was a kid. The paint in this toy is actually soap! I found the spin art set I was looking for at the Discovery store.

This spinner art set was a pretty sight for me when I saw it on Amazon I really liked it at first but then I figured out it was a BATH TOY! This was still a good toy but I really didn't like the idea of the bath toy. I just wanted to alert you that this might not be the toy you are looking for. Octagon All Purpose Laundry Bar Soap by Colgate - 7 Oz (Pack of 5)

I've loved this stuff since I was a little kid! Always used it as a stain remover and it's great for it! Removes stains that other things don't usually remove. I know stains with protein are tough to remove, but Octagon Soap usually always took it out quick! I thought they stopped making this stuff. So happy to find it online!! :D Gonna send some to my mom! haha! Great product!

Don't be fooled into spending twice as much for this original Octagon soap. This is the real thing. Use it quickly after exposure to poison ivey or chiggers. It reduces the outbreak or chigger bites by 50% or more. Use liberally.

Chinese B&F Soap Rose 2.65 Ounces

This soap is the answer to the prayers of anyone who wants luxury for less. The ornate wrapper is a work of art in itself, making these a nice hostess gift or stocking stuffer. The scent is light in the rose and jasmine bars. (I often buy the sandalwood, which is very strong and tenacious. In fact, I line my drawers with them.) The bars are on the small side. However, they are hardmilled, so they don't ooze down the drain in a week like some pricier creamier bars. They can be purchased at healthfood type stores, hippie chic boutiques, and Chinese or Indian groceries. I have been buying them for at least 20 years all over the country and a few months ago found some for 33 cents per bar(though just under a dollar is more typical).

I must admit that this soap really dries out my skin. So I use it as a sachet for my dresser drawers. It has a beautiful scent and lasts a long time. I've been using Bee & Flower soaps for a very long time to scent my clothes and will continue to do so. If you like to open your dresser and take out a piece of clothing that carries a clean light scent these soaps will do the trick. This seller shipped very quickly and packaged the soap very well.

Found an assortment of scent from this brand in my local Asian store. The rose is my favorite. Beautiful packaging and scent for such a low price!! Could charge much more if they wanted to.

I orignially found this soap in San Francisco, Chinatown. It was many years before I found it on Amazon. First...you smell the subtle scent before you open the pretty packaging. It is so nicely packaged..you can feel a bit of the orient when opening it. The rose scent is not powerful but has a light flowery rose scent. It suds up a bit but not overly so..lasts a long..long time. I think it is under-rated as it is truly a superior & unique bar of soap. It is extreamly hard to find..so I'm buying a case of it!

I can't believe it is so inexpensive because 25+ years ago it was $1/bar what a buy!

This lemongrass soap is pure joy. Lathers up extreamly well and and you get a good scrub with it's rough texture. AND it is presented beautifully. I have three bars in a bowl on the sink with the wrappers off and they fill the room with a heady delicious note of fresh lemon. The lemongrass body lotion is the perfect complement to this soap as well. This is one purchase where you will be happy you got the lemon.

This a good, long lasting, refreshing bar of soap. I like the Pre de Provence soaps, but especially like this product. Nice lemony smell in the shower is real refreshing. It's a good size and lasts a long time.

Being a man, I am hesitant to admit that I have sensitive skin. Using soap/body wash products marketed to men, I find that they dry out my skin. My skin feels dry, itchy, and irritated all day long.

MADE IN MEXICO even though the product description says Spain. The box and each bar of soap indicate Mexico as the country of origin. Beware if this is something that matters to you. The fragrance is lovely and I will keep the soaps but must admit that I am disappointed that I have not received the product that was described and that I expected.

Like the soap, however I do not believe this is the original soap that was produced in Spain.Was introduced to the original Maja soap made in Spain several years ago.
