This is some of the best bar soap I've ever used. The green tea scent is very soothing and lingers for quite a while, and the bar itself lasts a long time, so it's a good value. I found this soap at a tiny little shop while antiquing in Mt. Dora, Florida, and it was a bit pricey there. It is way cheaper on Amazon, so happy to see they carry it so I don't have to drive 40 minutes for soap. This stuff is AWESOME.

I used it while we vacationed and when I got back home, I could not find it in any local stores here in Virginia, so I checked Amazon and found it. Y.U.M. Bar Dog Soap

This bar is much better than liquid shampoo I used to bathe my boy shihtzu with. The scent is light which dries down to a trace of popcorn-like smell which is adorable. On top of everything, it makes his hair well moisturized and smooth, very easy to comb. Will buy again.

As we all know, washing our favorite canine friend can be a challenge at times as they don't always cooperate. For years I have been using products that I could find at my local pet shop and they have all been liquid shampoo allegedly formulated for a "dog's sensitive skin". The problem is that it takes a lot of shampoo and associated effort to get all the parts properly cleansed. On the one hand, my dog, a mini schnauzer, keeps moving so the shampoo I have just squeezed out onto my palm and am desperately trying to distribute to his chest or rear leg is dripping and even when I get it where it needs to be it never seems to be enough. I find myself using a lot of liquid shampoo to do the job and the constant need to pick up the bottle or pump more onto my hand gives my pooch an opportunity to try to get away from me further complicating the task. In the end, I use a lot of shampoo to get this relative small, long haired dog clean. Another issue for me is the smell of dog shampoo as most of them are overly scented and artificial smelling.

I had often wished that I could find a bar of soap specially formulated for a canine that is not overly scented and leaves their coat nice and shiny. Well, this soap does it and does it well. When using a bar of soap there is no need to keep going back to the bottle to get more as you have all you need right in your hand. Washing the dog with this product takes a lot less time and it rinses out completely with ease. I can get my dog washed in just a few minutes and as I always have one hand on the dog, he is easier to control and more cooperative.

I first wet him down completely avoiding his head but getting every part of his body nice and wet. Then I take the bar of soap in my hand and get every part nicely lathered up which is easier with the source of soap firmly in your hand. I then rinse his entire body and then wet his head as that is the part he really doesn't like. I then soap up his beard/muzzle, neck and head avoiding his eyes and quickly rinse him off with a hand held sprayer protecting his nose from direct contact with the water. After one final rinse of his body he is wrapped in a large towel and happily rubs his face and body into it drying himself off. The smell of the soap is wonderful and mild with a hint of cinnamon and sage and it leaves his fur nice and shiny. Fortunately, it does not irritate his skin or cause flaking or itching so all in all, we are both happy with the product.

So why only four stars? It is a rather small bar (only 3 oz) for the price and doesn't last too long, so you should buy a few at a time. Once you have tried it you will never go back to liquid shampoo again.

Used to use bubble bath products when I was younger... as I age into my late 20's I've been having a lot more back pain and just feeling bad in general... wasn't expecting too much from this stuff but honestly its really great... I like to get the whole tub filled with bubbles , then just smear them all over my chest and face , to where I'm enveloped and I can feel and hear the bubbles popping and fizzing around my head... this is really nice bubble bath , it has some kind of carbonation / fizz quality , (I think ) , if you turn the bottle upside down and then rightside up you can just see all these bubbles rush to the top... I'll be purchasing again , I was pleasently surprised...

The only thing I can suggest is throw this thing in a ziplock bag or something because it does leak a LITTLE bit , but it wasnt an issue in my experience.

Michel Design Works Flora Exotica Foaming Soap, 17.8-Ounce

This is a surprisingly good product. Holds more soap than I anticipated and it smells terrific. I've bought many of these for all the bathrooms and showers. Best product of its type I've seen.

I am a huge fan of Michel Design Works I have quite a few of their products. I just got this a few minutes ago and had to write about it. The container is HUGE! It has a "Michel Design Works" Elephant "STAMP" on the top of the container, and a very pretty label. Looks just like the photograph!

This "Flora Exotica" fragrance is *Amazing*. I don't really know how to describe it except to say it is like an "Exotic" Honeysuckle, with something else. It is really quite nice! Since the jar is so big and it is a foamerI know it will last a while. It might be more expensive the store bought brands but if you like a little dressy soap for your guests and don't mins spending the extra this is your soap! The best part of foaming jars is they are refillable once the product is used! Just add a drop or two of your fave, add water and you're all set!

Michel Design Works Flora Exotica Foaming Soap, 17.8-Ounce I received this as a gift at Christmas and now it's August; the soap container is only just now close to empty. The aroma is wonderfully floral without being heavy or lingering. (Jasmine seems to be the most prominent aroma but lightly fades and doesn't interfere with perfume.) The soap base is shea butter and leaves my skin feeling light and clean without drying. This price is also a great deal since I know that my fiance paid around $30 for this at a stylish boutique near my work. My Italian exchange student asked me to get this for her because she uses it in Italy and it is the only soap that does not break her out. I decided to try it for myself and absolutely love it. I looked up every ingredient and it is all natural. My skin does not feel dry, tight, or scummy after using it, and it has a pleasant odor even though there are no perfumes in it. I would recommend it to everyone.

I first discovered and used this soap when traveling in Italy several years ago. Each time I visit, I bring bars back. I love the way it smells especially and also the way it lathers. It has a different "feel" than soaps we can find on store shelves in the States. Perhaps part of what fuels my love of the soap is that each time I smell the fragrance, I'm back in Umbria!

The amazon description says "fragrance free" & all natural. Another reviewer also said ingredients were natural. The soap packages I received look similar to the amazon image, but also say "con antibatterico" & the ingredients list "parfum" & "hydroxydichlorodiphenyl ether" among others. the latter is the same or similar to triclosan as far as I can tell, which is the antibacterial ingredient in dial & other antibacterial hand soaps.

Wonder if they changed the formula or if this is a different product in the same line. The smell is strong, & besides the fact that I ordered it for my 5 yr old son, I try to avoid the antibacterial soaps. Returning it.

I got mine at Marshall's for $10 without s/h costs. The top of the box says it's "America's Original Since 1752." The back says the company "does not test on animals" and is an "all-vegetable soap, triple milled to last 2-3 times longer than other luxury soaps. Blooms with lush rose, rich tuberose, soft green florals and a tantalizing hint of orange" and "using only the finest natural ingredients." The packaging looks expensive, elegant and attractive. The fragrance is highly aromatic with the strong scent of intoxicating flowers but it also has a MUSKY scent so would be good for men and women who liked a more musky fragrance. While bathing, the fragrance is still VERY potent and the lather is decent, but the soap doesn't soften too much and looks like it will last a long time. However, I wouldn't pay over $24 for the 3 soaps unless it's as a gift for myself or others. There are too many other great luxury soaps for a decent or better price as everyday soaps (South of France (for the allergic), Pre de Provence , Bisous de Provence, Mistral, Aromas Artesanales de Antigua, Addison & Gates, etc. for strong fragrance and great lathering).

As with any soap, if you want to have it last longer, keep it away from water and get a soapholder with holes on the bottom so the water doesn't stay to liquefy the soap.
